kanna called out and then flew away, knowing to stay away from kunai.
Rachel swated Kanna hard as she flew away. Rachel looked at Kashi and asked, "Are you ok?" She was still ignoring her bleeding arm and was more focused on helping Kashi.

"I'll live." Kashi said, putting his hand in his equipment pouch. He rummaged around in it before taking out a roll of bandages. Not bothering to ask if it was okay, he grabbed Rachel's arm and started to bandage it. "Be more careful..." He said as he finished wrapping her arm.

"Sorry, but I think getting Yuki out of the way was more important then being careful." Rachel said frowning. She pulled her arm back and looked at Kashi. She was still trying to figure him out, but it was hard for her to tell. She could understand why he was so mad at Shiro for leaving, but she didn't understand why he killed people so easily.

"That is one opinion." Kashi said. He frowned and turned away. "Whatever...just be more careful." He said, sounding genuinely serious. He put his hands in his pockets and started down the alley, stepping over the body of the man.

"Fine, whatever." Rachel muttered turning the other way and walking away. She bit her lip and wondered what was going on. She sighed softly and kept walking quickly away.
Yuki saw Rachel walk away and then saw Kashi walking away. She wondered which way she should go and ended up deciding to follow Kashi.

Kashi scowled as he exited the alley and walked onto the street. He sat down not to far away from where he and Rachel had parted. He felt his wounds and sighed. "I save her and the others, try to help her, kill the man that caught Yuki and this is what I get. Not so much as a thank you." He hissed at himself. He had used a good portion of the bandage on Rachel so he wrapped it around his neck, not bothering to treat his chest or cheek. He looked around, seeing that Yuki was following him. Great.... he thought to himself.

Rachel sighed and jumpped onto a building and sat down thinking, ....I'm so stupid. I should have said thank you or something nicer then snapping at him for caring that I got hurt. Why did this have to happen? Why does he like me? What's going on? Rachel put her head in between her knees and started crying softly.
Yuki ran up to catch up to Kashi and sat down next to him. She looked at his face and poked his knee.

Kashi sighed when his knee was poked. "Yuki. Why don't you go to the hospital." He said, "They can take care of your cut, and you can see Shiro." Right now, he just wanted to be alone so he could figure out something to say to Rachel, maybe apologize...

Yuki nodded thinking that was a good idea and stood up to go when she remembered that she didn't know where the hospital was. "Where's the hospital?" Yuki asked in a quiet and small voice.

Kashi stood and walked a couple paces, "This way..." He walked several streets until he was on a fairly long one. He pointed up the street, "At the end of this street. A big building, go inside and they'll take care of you." After that he started to walk away, he knew what he wanted to say, but he didn't know how to say it. He figured, he mind as well wing it. When he found the alley they had been in he started to call, "Rachel? Rachel!?"

Yuki nodded and ran off towards the hospital.
Rachel sighed and kept crying. She heard Kashi calling her name and it made her remember when her mother had still been alive and had called out her name when Rachel locked s=herself in the closet and cried. Rachel looked down and sighed. She could feel tears still running down her face so she didn't say anything and just sat on top of a building, crying and watching Kashi.

"Rachel!" Kashi called again, "I need to talk to you. Rachel?" Kashi grunted and sat down, crossing his arms. "I give up..." He muttered to himself, "It's hopeless..." He leaned his head back, hitting the wall with a considerable amount of force, it was enough to make a sickening thump.

Rachel looked at Kashi and sniffled a little. She whipped her eyes and then said, "You shouldn't hit your head like that.......... Sorry........ Thanks for helping me...." Rachel's face showed a trail were the tears had been, but she was trying to hide it.

As Eiri slept her dreams took over, she was trapped in her own jutsu and in front of her was one of the men she had killed earlier that day.
The others were behind him
He took out her dagger and pulled it up her arm, she felt the cut that had bothered her when she first grazed the blade acrossed her fingers to test it.
This caused her to laugh at the man, what a weak person.
She tried to free herself from the jutsu but couldn't move, when she gave up the first man she had killed came up to her and grabbed her arm just as Kazou had.
She felt the pain this time it was also the same.
Again a kunai stabbed into her stomach it was numb no more than a rock being tossed at her.
She continued to laugh enjoying the attempt these people were making.
Kirin appeared and lunged for her neck.
She yawned awake looking around the roof and noticing Kashi had left"I wonder where he went"
She didn't wonder long she started heading in his direction, and stopped far enough away that he and Rachel wouldn't notice her.

Lashi stood quickly, his gaze following Rachel's voice. The one place he hadn't checked, the roof. He climbed up and seeing Rachel's tear trailed he frowned. "Oh little one..." He said softly, "You have no reason to be sorry." He brought his hand up, careful in case she tried to hit or stop him. He whipped her cheeks, talking the salty lines away. "I'm the one who should be apologizing." He said, "I've wronged you so many times..."
