"Well, guess we're stayin' here. Jared. Go to Valhalla and pick up Jaxx and Grif. We can't leave them in Valhalla."
He turned to Grix, who was walking away with his head to the ground.
"You know, Grix, he probably knows it's a trap. He just wants to hold on to the hope that they might be alive. One hell of a dilemma, my friend."

i guess i can't have 5 more minutes then, can i?
Shiloh awoke to the sound of multiple voices shouting random things, and the sound of a new voice asking Caboose to stop climbing the side of the base. She opened her eyes to see Simmons on his laptop at a nearby desk-thingy. She stood up and walked over to Simmons.
"Playing WoW?", she said, laughing.
He looked at her and smiled.
"I have nothing better to do for now.", he said looking back at the screen.
And then they heard a crash, probably Caboose falling off the side of the base. They walked outside to see what the noise was.

Regarding Caboose
"You see, Dirt, Caboose is 'special'. According to Church, it all started about the time when He was stationed at Blood Gulch Canyon. You see, a tank came to life, and Caboose sort of fell in love with it."
Daniels looked at Caboose who was still trying to contact agent Washington from the top of the base.
"Nowadays, it's best that there's always someone to supervise him. He's much better off that way."
"Hello! Agent Washington! Can you hear me?"

Getting angry
Puskof had attempted to soothe his mind by checking supplies. He was used to this task, he was always the one who checked and memorized supplies. He was loading a clip when the drone of Pvt Caboose shrilled out. Puskof's hand slipped and he dropped the rounds, spilling them into the grass. Grigor swore loudly and yelled to Daniels.
"Someone shut that crazy b*****d up or I'll put a round in his jaw!"

Dirt, that's your job.
"Caboose, It's nap time. go in the base."
Caboose nodded and ran frantically into the base. After just a short time, it seemed almost silent. Daniels started reading his Manga, Church and sarge had a shooting contest using Grifs and Cabooses carved into trees.

How should I know?
"Hey, I wasn't told there'd be any new squad members. Technically, you aren't a member of this squad. Same goes for Grix and Puskof. So now would be the time to ask: Would you like to join the squad?"
Grix and Puskof weren't exactly in the best of moods at the moment, so he'd rather leave the decision up to them. And Dirt probably had no Idea what was happening, so it was better if he doesn't get unwillingly roped into something.

There's no way an expert sniper like myself will have a subordinate calling him 'cappy'!

"Hmm... okay. I'm good at blowing stuff up. And killing people with big scary devices. And driving big things that make people die. Like tanks! You said you were a sniper, which takes a lot of careful planning and stealth. My job doesn't need anything of the sort!"
"And I do realise I just rambled on about something no one cares about. That's what made me so popular at staff meetings in my previous bases, my speeches. They would take so much time out of the schedule that we never actually got anything done."

As soon as he began to pick up the rounds that he had dropped Sgt. Durt's voice broke the silence again. Grigor stood up and put his hand on his sidearm.
"Daniels, shut THIS guy up or I'll put a round in BOTH of your jaws! Get the men doing something productive, sitting here isn't helping anything."
Grigor looked off in the distance at where Dmitry rode off. In the distance, smome trailed up from the crash site of the Bloodoath. He hoped Spook would come home. He had lost enough comrades for one day.

Shiloh finally looked up from her manga to see Daniels and the new guy being yelled at. She strode up to the group and informed, in an emotionless tone, the new guy that Caboose was playing on the rocks pointing to Caboose, who was jumping from rock to rock. Then she looked back at her book.

Ryan bowed to Shiloh in an over dramatic manner.
"Hello, my name is Durt Ryan. I'm with the Blue Army ODST Legion. May i ask your name?" asked Ryan in a polite tone.
