Suddenly Brendan noticed the epic fish attacking his friends. Dropping his slice of pie and grabbing a knife, he lunged toward the beast, only to get slapped back by its giant tail.

dazed, but still able to think straight, (kinda xD), Brendan got back to his feet and stood behind Juan.
" Maybe you should go first this time. " he said gesturing towads the fish.

As the monstrous koi sprung up from the waters to close in on Juan and Brendan, a sudden thunk of metal into flesh was heard! The fish flailed with surprise then retreated momentarily to the depths.
In an unimpressive little paddleboat meters away a figure posed heroically with harpoon gun in hand,
"Never fear, Ranger gold is heeeeere!"
(And that's the biggest fillet I've ever seen heart )

"Gold!! Perfect timing~"
Phoebe squealed fangirlishly, bobbing on the water from across the pond.
The ruby red color of blood mixed with the clear water of the pond.
All of the sudden, a gigantic splash! The injured fish, with nearly all of it's lasting strength jumped into the air on a rampage. ...You flutter as a bird, and then as the world.

"Why hello there, Phoebe dear. Don't mind if I steal this catch, do you? 8D Ooooh this carp would go so perfectly with a little sage and-" but Gold is rudely Interrupted by mister fish's refusal to die.
"uh oh, I only made it angrier..? -!" Gold hurriedly loads a second shot, forgetting that the end of rope from the last lodged harpoon is still tied to his gun. Before he can cut it, the force from the fish's sudden rampage catches up! The loaded gun is yanked right out of his hands and splashes into the water.

Light first comes as grains, and then as waves... "Ooh, a nice fillet actually sounds quite good right now~" Phoebe mused hungrily.
Out of nowhere, the over sized nishikigoi pulled the harpoon gun and made it drop with a "plop!" into the water.
Right when things seemed to be going perfectly, they're seemingly only hope sank into the depths of the pond.
"NOOOO!"
All of the sudden, the wounded fish jumped into the air again, reaching an amazing height, but missed the water and landed in the garden on it's side, right where the harpoon was lodged into it's flesh. A horrifying screech from the fish indicated that it's time would soon be up. ((Do fish even make noises? o3o))
It was silent for a few moments.
"That... was... AWESOME!! YOU DID IT GOLD, YOU SAVED US!!" Phoebe rejoiced, swimming up to the little paddleboat as fast as she could. "Thank you Gold-senpai~!" ...You flutter as a bird, and then as the world.

Suddenly, Emily stomped right up to Brendan and says,"You better finish your pie that fell on the floor or I'll kill you, pie waster!" She held up a sharp knife.

Light first comes as grains, and then as waves... Phoebe climbed onto the boat and threw her arms around Gold. "That was amazing, amazing! Oops... sorry I got you wet..."
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something small glimmer in the mouth of the dead fish.
"Ne... what's that?" she asked, pointing at the source of the light. ...You flutter as a bird, and then as the world.

Stunned by the fish's incredible failure, Gold is too distracted for once to care about his outfit. "I...did that? AHAHA OF COURSE. Confusing the fish into its own demise was all part of my spectacular plan!" Gold cackled with triumph before remembering that harpoon gun was a rental. >_>;
But at least the fish was in tact!
Gold paddled excitedly to the shore to butcher his catch while the others gathered around the mouth to claim their own prize.

Emily stopped getting mad at Brendan and she looked at the fish. She inched over to the dead fishes' mouth. She quickly grabbed the sparkly thing and she said,"Oh my god! I found pretty shoes that smell like fish!"
(Emily is scared of fish.)
