"I was at the boardwalk," the young man replied nonchalantly. "What business is it of yours where I go and when, goth girl?"

"You were at the boardwalk with everybody else, sticking in the crowd, and not even reminding yourself who you use to be. Pathetic." Fae rolled her ice blue eyes at him. She was use to the label, and though it still bugged her, the young woman had grown use to it over time. "It's too hot out."

"Of course it's too hot when you're stupid enough to wear black clothes. Last time I checked, dark colors absorb heat." Ruarc rolled his eyes right back at Fae. "And what are you talking about 'who I used to be' and 'sticking in the crowd'? Does one little trip to the boardwalk- like I do all the time- completely change who I am?" This was usually how Ruarc and Fae's conversations went. Trading insults and arguments until they got bored, tired, or too mad to talk.

"And of course you'll stick in when you're dressed like everybody else! Your mutating into one of them- a beach bum who's only care in the world is if they ''score some chick''" here, Fae made air-quotes with the hand that wasn't holding the umbrella, and shook the one that held it in her hand. "right before your own eyes!" retorted the girl. "I'm smart enough to want to make a difference here!"

"Yes because stressing over being different and wearing uncomfortable clothes is obviously the smart thing to do." The male was starting to look bored. "I'm not dressing like this to fit in, I'm dressing like this because Krishna made the weather here in Mercunias hot and I'd like to stay cool."

"These aren't uncomfortable! If anything, it's fun to wear them! You can go tell Krishna that the heat doesn't bother me!" Fae huffed, tilting her head so it didn't face Ruarc anymore.

"Well these aren't uncomfortable, and these are fun to wear, so stop complaining about my clothes and I'll stop complaining about yours!" Of course, Ruarc knew somewhere in his mind that they'd never stop arguing. Both of the teenagers were stubborn and opinionated.

"Oh, says all the other little boys dressed my their mommy, too~" The girl teased again. She knew that like her, Ruarc was motherless, but that was just the point. To Fae, all the people on the boardwalk were dressed the same, the only thing telling them apart being their size. She wasn't going to back down from the argument that he started!

Best Stand Short...(I wanna post, but since Ae's not on let's check up on Lilith) A blade swiftly moved in the air as on lookers were amazed by the thought of being able to weild a real sword rather then a wooden one. To thier dismay Lilith placed the sword back in it's shealth before ppaceing it on nthe walla as an ornament once more."Now then let's began shall we class."she said to the teens, from thirteen to about her own ago, though most were men. She wondered idley how the young men she taught felt about being trained to fight by a woman not so much older then them."Get in to your stance and pratice your defensive blocks, then we'll see how well you have progressed seprately."the woman explianed as she held her wodden sword in her hand as she watched her students. She had recent gorren some new students, by thier looks and whiney spioled personality they were the sons of some polotician or other rich person. That may be the only bad thing about haveing the most famous training dojo in Itacia. ..And Insult All Those Tall

The boy scowled slightly. There was no need for Fae to bring parents into this, but now that she had... "Well, maybe if you had some motherly influence you'd actually act like a lady, or at least somewhat feminine! Krishna knows you need some manners..."

"So I should act more lady-like like you do and strut down the beach in naught but a bra and underwear?" The girl raised both her eyebrows, and smiled at him expectingly. "Krishna can keep my manners! He kept yours too, didn't he?"

"... You know, you're a very annoying girl," Ruarc commented. "It's no wonder you're still unmarried."

"I don't see you rushing off to a wedding chapel, Flynn!" Fae laughed back at the younger teen. She sneered at him, and reached forward to pinch his left cheek. "You're a very spoiled little boy. And annoying girls like me don't wish to be married to spoiled little boys like you, or anybody else in this pathetic town."

Ruarc swatted Fae's hand away from his cheek. "I can get married any time I wish to do so. Do you know how many girls in this town would love to marry a rich, good-looking guy like me?" He wore a confident smirk.

"Oh, let me know when you find him. You're rich and all- but I don't see any good-looking guys around here." Fae placed the hand that had been on his cheek over her eyes, mocking a looking-around gesture. "Are you gay, then? If you're not going to marry the women who are all just too willing to bear their breasts and butts for a few coins... do you just not like it? I'm not going to judge you if you do." She laughed again.
