Darius watched Khenu a little longer and asked him innocently, "Something wrong?"

As he heard what AUra had to say, he let fear show easily on his face, and let it flow from him, his voice squeaked a little, "Angels?" Then he cleared his throat and gained his composure, as he listened to everything else that lived here. "That's an odd group of people, so what is this a gathering place for wierd outcasts or something? And what the heck are Angels doing here?"

Bastet awoke to find Kepi gone...again. "Just one night, they could sleep in here, just one night. Nailah hogs them too much." She got up and got dressed and fixed herself up in the mirror. She wandered out into the hallway with her ears perked up. Clearly feeling better she headed in the direction of voices, which always led her to the kitchen, as she walked in she noticed someone new along with her familiar friends. She made herself some hot chocolate them flopped into a chair next to Khenu, absently tickling him with her tail. "Good evening everyone."

Darius let his fear drain away. Empaths.... I need to be careful. "So they do not have a specific purpose for being here."

Then he heard another woman's voice and looked around to see what looked like a woman with cat ears, tail, and claws. He quirked one eyebrow, "So this would be the part human hybrid you mentioned? Hello by the way."

"Part human hybrid is how you describe me? I prefer sexy cat woman, but oh well." She swished her tail around to make it harder for Khenu to catch, "Or you could use my name as Khenu has, so you have been practicing? How is it coming along? So, who is this boy?"

Aura smiled at the sight of Khenu messing with her friend's tail and her friend's preferred means of self description. "Well said Sphinx." She then gestured to Darius. "This is Darius. Just stumbled in tonight."

A bump at Bastet's chair signaled the arrival next to it of Eclipse, who nuzzled her elbow. "Hello Kitty."

This newest one was a very blunt one. "Well, Bastet was it? I came wandering here, that's all." He watched silent for a moment as they all reacted closely, as they knew each other, yet they were all different. Could different beings really get along? It doesn't matter. Empaths, angels, sensitive noses, and most likely mind readers threatened his exsistance. he would give the thieves a few days to wander back home to master, and then he would leave, hopefully with little contact with others. he looked back to Bastet, "You should be more like Aura, she does not ask questions. Being too nosy could get you killed."

Khenu released Bastet's tail listening to the conversation being held. He bit his bottom lip in an attempt to keep his abilities to himself. Or even worse from letting them show.

Nailah had mentioned to him what happened when he picked them up, how he would zone out and his eyes would close. Being conscious of that fact, he was trying hard to not do those actions.

"No...but I expect that I will be. It's destiny." He chuckled and licked her hand.

Aura rolled her eyes. "Like you said though, curiosity killed the cat. Lucky for you, you aren't all cat, eh Bastet?"
