Fox sighed as he heard his phone chime, indicating he had a message. He reached into his pocket, and dug out the wafer-thin touchscreen phone. He selected the message and read it, then sighed softly at the end. He deleted the message, locked the phone, and slid it back into his pocket. He rested his head against the wall once more, staring up at the ceiling.

He closed his eyes once more, and attempted to reenter that lonely circle in his mind.

(( Okay Anyways... Rawr, Achi... The response I didn't expect and I like it.))

"Jade?!" She shrank like a wilted flower under fiery woman's killer glare. "No, it's not what you think! I just wanted to give Tiger a chance...if there was another way besides you just killing him."

Her heart was screaming murder and climbing its way up her throat. She needed words now. She needed them. To be able to save a life or two if possible.

"I'm just as angry as you are... But am I wrong for thinking some people deserve a second chance? Ms. Jade..." Fish whimpered. "You're a good person, too. Please think about it, think before you kill Tiger."

She dodged the hands reaching for her but a few times before allowing herself to be picked up by her once-again captors. The girl wanted to see things through, not be carried off. She wasn't always going to be just a girl to be shielded from carnage. Anything but that. This was...war.

Jade glared coldly at Fish. If it weren't for Dog's words and the promise she made to him she would have spread her flames like the plague across the entire area. She warned her not to get in her way.. However, she refained. Fish would be brought back alive, regardless of her treason.
Her gaze then set on the man who was dubbed Tiger. His words made her want to laugh and, in fact, she did a little bit. A cruel, low, sadistic laugh.
"Oh, but see," Jade said as she walked a few steps closer, "this does involve me.. You destroyed the only place I've ever called home. You tortured my fellow mercenary brothers, injured my friends. Worst of all, you did it like a spineless pansy, when I wasn't there to kill you in the first place..
"And, my loved ones will be just fine." She grinned malevolently, her true colors of a killer showing. The pyromancer then drew her blade as the flames danced further. "Because today, Vlad, this woman will be the one doing the killing. And, for good measure, I'll even wet my boots with your blood as I dance upon your rotting corpse you treacherous, ******** low-life."

As the grenade dropped, Jade's eyes widened in shock. She had gotten careless. If it wasnt' for her sheild of flames around her body the blow would have been devastating, instead the shockwave was enough to send her off her feet and flying backwards a yard or two. With a flip she regained composure just in time to see the bullets fly.
With a gutteral scream, Jade began spinning her kantana at an ungodly rapid pace. Bullet after bullet she blocked her vitals areas, yet she could only do so much. She felt the barrage of lead sprewing into various places in her body. Her high core temperature allowed her to go the distance, like a true gazelle, endurance, but only that would hold out for long. She had to get the b*****d and fast.
"Run, run," Jade cackled as she rushed after the traitor with a chaotic grin, lust for blood in her fiery lids as she chased after him down the alley. After sheathing her sword, Jade began launching fire ball after fireball towards the man in rapid succession. "I will shed your blood!"
