I think it's only a transportation vortex but I'm not sure. *I look back at chrys who is fighting it.* The offer still stands Chrys, Let me know if I can help in anyway.

"Did I...say that?" I say, returning Kuroi's question with a question. "Well, anyways-"
Mizuho's eyes became pupil-less, and her entire eye becomes bright white. I clench my teeth and clutch the grass. "She is not losing her soul," I sputter out. "But her mind is being wiped at the moment by the vortex. She couldn't hear me even if I shouted in out mind connections, which is pretty impossible for me as she's partially guarded her mind now, but is still weakening me." I turn to my belongings, and snatch the scroll away. "Bad idea," I manage, as speech becomes harder. "Please...Kuroi...take that gem...on the floor," I say, pointing at the purple gemstone.

I put an arm around Mizuho, clutching her robe when spasms of terrible pain erupt. I hold them back as I say, "S-say...this for me, while holding the gem up...: 'Oh guardian of sprite, protector of magic, take us to that faraway land, where sprites of this family join together for protection!'" My voice fades away as I put a hand on his shoulder.

*Nods and then repeats what she siad* Oh guardian of sprite, protector of magic, take us to that faraway land, where sprites of this family join together for protection! *waits for something to happen but looks worriedly at both of the girls*

A bright flash of light envelops us all, as the gem glows with power. When we can see again, a desert-like expanse is around us. But green patches show up here and there. I point weakly to a patch, and say, "There." I push my way along, being supported unknowingly by Mizuho. I sit down and say, weakly smiling, "Welcome to Mizuho's home village."
In all the green patches, a small home appeared. Sprites peeked out from other doors, but the one I sat on became Mizuho's childhood home. Mizuho's mother came out, her short curly purple hair surprising for her. I show the circlet and she quickly snatches it, and shakes Mizuho. "Oh no!" she exclaims. She ushers us into the house.
It is roomy and cozy, and resembles a log cabin. She throws the circlet onto the table, where it lands with a thunk.

*Looks around curriously as we enter the house.* Wao... This is cool. *I watch quietly when the sprite sets the circlet on the table*

In a moment, Mizuho's father, and some of the children come in, thoroughly worried. They ask us to turn around, for sometimes this spell can blind others who are not used to this kind of light.

The sprites seem to mutter something, and it glows with a light much more powerful than that of the gem. The father eventually says, "You can turn around now."
The circlet is now brighter than before. They place it on Mizuho's head, and her eyes became silverish again, but her pupils were not back. "Now," said he, "we must let her rest. You can take her back to the tavern or wherever if you wish."

If she needs to rest, why not let her stay here. I'd think that the teliportation spell would only ware both Chrys and Mizuho. *looks at them calmly.* After they rest, then we can let them decide what they want to do.
