Pheaura wantened around a bit. Looking for Bel. SOmething told her that today would be the day...today was the time when Hell unleashed itself, revealing its power to the world. Pheaura was anxious....she wanted to test herself, but at the same time, was terrifeied she was going to fail. All she could do now was prepare for the apocolypse and hope for the best.
(time to post! woot! I'll be on tonight if work doesn't keep me late)

Azaireal fluttered aboutthe manor, feeling happy as ever.
"Demons... Imps... Undead... these things bother me not at all."
Instead, another gravity weighed his heart, how were the peoples of the manor going to defend themselves?
"I need a forge."

He had been staring at her grave. One that had been dig for her, already haf a headstone bearing her name, bearing a message of her existance to accompany the name. There would be no grave for him. As her soul would leave this plane, so would his. But unlike her, he would leave no body behind, no accompaniment to her deeath. "I've been thinking."
"May I ask about what?"
"I have no grave."
"What?"
"In the graveyard, I have no grave next to yours. When we die...you'll be left alone."
Aura's eyes softened at the wolf;s words and she reached out a hand to brush through his fur, lettting it come to rest where his wings sprouted from hsi body. "It's just a body Eclipse. A vessel for the soul. Souls eventually depart from their vessels leaving behind shells. Shells don't get lomely." Aura was quiet for a few moments then tilted her head at the wolf with a smile. "Do you want me to add your name next to mine?"
"Very much so."
They both sat in silence for a moment staring out over the lake. "It's quiet."
Eclipse's ears twitched in response to her comment, searchign out the sounds of anyone. "Very...seems we may be the only ones up and about. Either that or I'm just to sleepy to hear everyone properly."

Azaireal, keen as ever, decided to contact one of his more ancient allies in the battle against the, as the Azure Order called it, The Silly Monster Marathon (who ever "sent" the most demons won a prize), Gate. This ally is an informate, who tends to have "First" hand knowledge.
After the contact, Azaireal marches to the kitchen, where converts one of teh ovens inot a forge. Upon finishing the forage, Azaireal conjoures a malius, strangly dwarvish (another long story) and set it on a table beside the forage. Opening his wings, Azaireal draws out several strey feathers.
"All the matierals I will ever need, never having to waste my life in those mines... Maybe I should ask if..." Azaireal ponders for a moment, then straightens the feathers.
The hammer's ring should sound, but alas it does not. Somethings are just not compatable with the human mind.

"I think your hearing is failing you in your old age my friend."
"You have absolutely no room to talk my dear. You top me by fifteen hundred years." He chuckled. "Under normal circumstances, you'd be an angel long before now."
"An angel you say?" Aura gave a sigh and a shrug. "I wouldn't want to be an angel."
"You wouldn't? You seem to be one of the few. We've been around the world and all you hear is how when people die they want to go to heaven, they want to be angels and such."
"Why does everyone want to be an angel? If we were all angels, there would be no earthly need for them. As I see it, the less angels there are, the more we cry out to the heavens for them. Turn everyone into angels and they lose their purpose. Who would be left to need them?"

Finished his work, Azaireal restores the kitchen to its former self, and dispells the conjoured hammer.
"There is on thing missing... Oh, people... Now where are they...."
"You know where they are exactly, you have a direct--"
"Shush you."
"But, but..."
"Grow up You are over 300 billion years old, act like it."
"Act like a planet?"
"You are so difficult."
"You're a jerk."
"Its your fault..."
"Leave HER out of this. That's it, I am taking you to hell for a severe beating."
"I'd win."
"You have a point."
"Sing a song and be happy."
"That's a good plan..."
After arguing quite loud with himself, Azaireal raises his voice in an ancient song, sing or the great deeds of heros long dead.

Eclipse perked his ears. "Now THAT I heard." He laughed. "He sounds like you when we used to only have a mind link. You sounded like you were arguing with yourself as well. It's highly comical actually."
"You're mean."
Eclipse stretched his wings for a moment. "I know it."

Aura and Eclipse both turned around to see Azaireal. Aura stood and brushed the grass from her clothes as Eclipse stood and then snorted.
"I hate it when you all do that...pop up out of nowhere...creepy."
She shrugged. "I never talked to myself and I was alone for a long time. Then again I was extremely cruel and mean so I guess you don't hold conversation often with anyone, even yourself, when you're like that." She laughed softly then looked to Azaireal again. "Now what was that about Demonic Flames?"
"Sounds 'portal to hell'-ish..."

"I was going to cross that bridge when I came to it. It all depends on what the circumstances are. Whether physical pain is an issue for them, does light or holy magic harm them. Essentially, myself and the others will just be winging it. But that's never stopped us before, we've faced many different evils together and we're still alive.

"Well that's...vivid. Are you trying to scare me Azaireal? After over five thousand years of living an eternal yet not immortal life, there's not much that scares me anymore. None of this demon or portal to hell nonsense bother me at all."
"You're also not taking into account me. I'm a wild card and a key in any battle against evil. I am evil itself in a way, the darkness and hate that bores it into existence. Such things can't really harm me."
Aura gave Eclipse a rewarding pat on the head. "You're right there my Eclipse." Smiling in her all to often seen cheerful happy Aura way, she returned her attention to Azaireal. "Why? Did you have some elaborate plan?"

"Now I do." Azaireal frowns. "Aruahkah, with me here, no evil can triumph. But, becasue I am here, they would like to see me hurt, and they know the only way to do that is through the peoples I care. They will come in great numbers, they will try everything to kill you, and Shadowborn, just to cause me guilt."
Azarieal sits anf opens his wings, on his lap are several cloth cloaks.
"Each of these has the power to protect you from the auras of the fiends. I have made a enough for the house, but they can only protect you from their energy. Do you ahve weapons capable of harming the demons?"
"I think you have fought far too many imps to know the truth of a Gate. Some demons are humans so twisted by evil, they cease to be human. These are the easiest of the fiends to defeat. Some are the children of these humans and fallen, Hellborn. These are stronger than the human converts, but require some magic to defeat. Rarer than the other two breeds are the angels who turned. Wretched, deformed, hateful. These require powerful weapons and magics to hurt, and almost impossible to banish. If a single fallen appears..."
