Aeife writhed viciously in Gordon's arms. It wasn't a conscious effort to get away, but it was mainly due to her painful convulsions. Her body shook and her voice cried as she seized, completely overcome by the pain spreading from her chest. Even so, she heard Caliesil's voice in her head loud and clear, as if his words agitated her condition further.
After several minutes of this, her body gave out and she died. Or at least that's how she felt, anyway. The spasms had stopped, leaving her laying limp with such shallow breath that anyone could mistake her for dead. If not for the weak, but furious, beating of her heart, she probably would be.
I can't stay...
She heard her own voice in her mind now, small and pained.
I can't stay... I don't want to love again. I don't want to hurt anyone... I don't want to be hurt...

Melia watched him slightly, then turend to the rocky path."Well.....I guess I need to leave ya'll."She said, walking off and farther away from them. She glanced back adn smiled."Maybe we'll meet up again...unless someone fallows me..but..unlikely.."She muttered.

*Lance being a creature of habit was out prowling about durring the night. After wanderring for a while he found himself lost in a dense forest*
*He saw a large tree and dug his claws in to its bark just enough so that he could climb to the top*
Maybe I can get a better look from up here...
*As he reached the top he looked out over trees above the canopy he saw the beauty of the night, and could not help but stop and stare*
*As he did he saw a slight blue glow from the crystal he had around his neck, he immediately placed his hand over it, this crystal had attained much unwanted attention since he had gotten it, and he was not in the mood for a brawl at the moment*
*He then lowered himself down onto one of the higher branches of the tree and led there hoping to see someone or something of interest*

Aeife's eyes remained closed, her body limp and still. She felt paralyzed, unable to lift a finger or move her lips. There was a certain numbness that climbed through her, like when circulation is lost in a limb, resulting in it 'falling asleep'. And it was as if her body refused to wake up. As much as she tried, as much as she wanted to, she couldn't pull away from Gordon. There was an uneasiness in his arms, and a peace she feared.
She would not be a burden, she refused. She would not allow herself to be taken in to a new stage in life, a new love... There wasn't any way she could move on.

*he felt her limpness, and knew that she would not be able to travel to wherever she was going for at least half a day. He picked her up and carried her gentley back to his home*

*Lance just sat on the tree branch high over head and watched the two walk off*
*He wasnt sure if they didnt see him or were just ignoring him*
*He was fine with either one but he felt a welcoming feeling coming from the woman*
*A feeling that made his own crystal glow in approval*
*He then sat up with a smile and pulled out some of the jerky he had been carrying with him and began to munch upon it*
*He then smiled at the tree and thanked for allowing him to stay upon, while appologizing for digging in his claws to climb it*

Aeife, though held completely immobile in Gordon's arms, could see a light glowing above her eyes through her closed lids. It was the jewel shard, imbedded in her forehead, shimmering with reciprocation. For a moment, she wondered what it meant, as she couldn't move or even open her eyes. It was as if she was drawn away from her body, receding into a deeper part of herself.
However, as the two traveled further, the glow diminished until it stopped all together.

*Thanks to his inhuman eyesight he had an excellent view of what was happening below him*
*As he ate the jerky he noticed the womans forhead mimic the same glow*
*He immediately stopped eating and accidentally dropped his jerky what he was eating*
*He gave a perplexing look, then closed his eyes, starting to repeat a small incantation with a few hand motions*
*After a few moments an exact copy of Lance appeared beside him, being unable to replicate the shard he had the only way one could tell the difference was by that one small flaw*
*The doppleganger nodded in approval and began to follow the two from a safe height amongst the tree tops not sure if it should reveal itself or not*
*The actual Lance stayed behind and continued to eat his jerky*

*he nodded waved and turned off on his own path. He let his red energy wings out and took into the air headed straight up to figure out where he should go next*
