Angelofdeath895 "Sure I'm all ears. You can tell me anything." He smiled sweetly and leaned up againt the door frame, getting comfortable to listen to her. "So what's up." Ana closed her eyes for a second, trying to gather her thoughts. "How do you start a conversation like this?" she wondered. Sighing she opened her eyes and looked at Angel. Her voice was quiet, but clear. "A few weeks ago, Elec gave me a letter from someone who claimed to be an old friend. His name was Alexander. He is... was....my husband." She stopped and looked at Angel, trying to gauge his reaction.

She never lifted her eyes once during what she had to say next. "Alexander was...evil. Sadistic. I met him when I was 15. He was 17. He was so charming and handsome, at first. The first three months were wonderful. He was....the perfect gentleman. He never even kissed me. And then, one night he...." She paused closing her eyes again, before continuing. "He raped me. It was horrible. But the worst part about it was that I....I liked it. I didn't know it then, but he had spent the first three months of our relationship putting some sort of spell on my mind. It made my body....feel things. He could make me do anything he wanted with that spell and no matter how awful it was...I would like it. And no matter how badly I wanted to leave him, I couldn't. All he had to do was touch me and I would do anything he asked." She shuddered a bit at the memory of some of the things Alexander had forced her to do. "I married him when I was 18. We were married for four years. Eventually, I somehow managed to break through his power enough to run away. I tried to start over. To forget him and the terrible things he had made me do. And I succeeded, at first. But somehow, he found me...."

((Hehe, could at least hug her or something. razz xd )) Ana took a shuddering breath before continuing. Angel hadn't said anything yet. She wished she knew what he was thinking. "He...somehow got into my room and....raped me again. I had thought I was free, but it was happening all over again. The pain. The shame. He was going to take me back, and this time I'd never be able to get away. But...things were different this time." She gave a small smile. "This time, I wasn't alone. Elec, Sanctum...Kyrai. They were all there for me, protecting me. They gave me the strength I needed to defy Alexander, once and for all. Oh, he was furious. He almost killed me for it. But Kyrai....did something, I'm still not sure what, and it destroyed the spell. I was finally free." She sighed, anxious to finish her confession and finally put it behind her once and for all. "Then, last night, he attacked me in the garden. I tried to fight him off, but....I hesitated. Luckily Kyrai found us before anything bad happened, but if he hadn't....." She looked up at Angel for the first time since she had started. "That's why I want to learn to fight. I"m never going to let something like that happen to me again." Her voice was low and fierce. "Never."

She pulled back a bit and looked up into his eyes. "That's why I asked you to wait last night too. I'm not innocent, despite how much I blush, but in a very real way.....this is all new to me. I just don't want to mess it up."
