Nightmare1 Have you ever tried mixing tea with hot chocolate? It works best with fruit and mint flavors, but you heat the tea and add hot chocolate in the place of sugar. The hot chocolate mix will sweeten it, and the tea will give it a flavor. My favorite combination is with mandarin orange spice. As an avid tea drinker, I must try this mixture! 3nodding

I most insist. It does not work so well with floral teas like chamomile, however...fruit and mints are the ones I recommend.

I sure will. ^_^
Speaking of tea, I saw that there was green tea gum available in the store. Tea in gum form? Mom said I could get some if I wanted. Tastes rather minty, but I've yet to brew green tea so I have no idea what the original mixture tastes like yet (although there is a box of tea bags waiting to be steeped). My only problem is that the gum doesn't really seem to... hold together when you chew it. Better than none at all though. I've been having gum withdrawls.
My friends know me as a tea fiend. There's always some to drink when I go over to their houses. xd

Nightmare1 Harls Fantasy Moon Nightmare1 I remember watching Batman: The Animated Series when I was younger...I had a friend who was obsessed...how ironic that I should be obsessed now... My favorite episode of that was when a mad scientist turned Selena Kyle into a real cat.Haven't seen it. My fave is "Harley's Holiday." And Nighty likes it too...cuz it has the Scarecrow at the very beginning! blaugh Yes...give me a second to quote it. Harley: *celebrating her newly gained freedom, because in this episode, she has been declared sane* Yeah! Who-peeeeee! Yay, yay, yay! *composes herself* I mean, thank you, Dr. Leland. Leland: That's all right. You have every reason to be proud of yourself. Scarecrow: *from just outside the office. He is heard because the door is open* Unhand me! Leland: I just wish some of our other inmates would make your type of progress... Scarecrow: *being brought in by Batman and Robin* I am the Master of Fear and the Lord of Despair! Cower before me and witness terror! Harley: *as they pass by the door* Hi, Professor Crane. Scarecrow: *looks at her, politely* Good evening, Child. *to Batman* Worship me, you fools! Worship me! Scream hosannas of anguish to Scarecrow, the all-terrible God of Fear! *is taken away by the orderlies* Robin: I think he's getting better. That was the best part of the episode. :p Knew you were gonna do that. I knew you were gonna do that! blaugh

Had to go pick up one of my nephews and he was saying how wasn't I too old for Mickey Mouse. He'd seen I got Mickey's Magical Christmas at the library. One of these little kids praising how much better anime is than Disney. I told him there wouldn't be any Japanese anime without the influences of the giants of Western animation like Disney and the Flescher (sp?) brothers. He persisted in saying things like "he doesn't even use cuss words"... gonk The horror of it all! What has our youth come to? crying

And if it's not overdone computer generated graphics packed, they don't like movies either. I was watching Mothra earlier and one of the munchkins kept commenting on the fakeness of the special effects.

*sigh* no respect for the classics.
I saw this one monster movie from the 50's where the monster was basically a fuzzy carpet thrown over a bunch of college kids. You could see their sneakers sticking out when it walked. It was one of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen.

It amuses me how kids nowadays refuse to watch movies when they're in black and white. Speaking of which, I have an old French film of Beauty and the Beast to watch. Think I'll go watch it once I finish here. Enough time to finish before I'll have to retire for the night. The evil of having classes tomorrow.

Most of my favorite movies are old ones! My two tied for number one are Akira (198 cool and Casablanca (1942). Humphrey Bogart is the sexiest dead guy alive. And you can't watch Duck Soup without thinking that it's one of the funniest movies you've ever seen! Those Marx brothers were comedic geniuses! Ooh, and just get me started on my love of German silent film.....

The Marx brothers are hilarious, but I'm more of a Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis, Bing Crosby/Bob Hope person myself, as far as comedy goes. And it does make me angry that people assume, since a movie is black and white, that it's boring. Arg!! Hitchcock, people! Bogart! Cary Grant! (He gives Bogart a run for his money as far as sexy dead guys goes.) I had to watch "It Happened One Night" and "The Philadelphia Story" for a feminism class last term, and it inspired me to go out and buy a bunch of old films.
