"I've seen better places than this," said Samantha with a displeasing tone. He may have taken to ordering a drink, Sam on another hand was not about to order anything from this place. "So.. did you happen to find anyone interested in hiring while you were out there?"

Ian shrugged. "No one hiring at the tube station, but got my bag of tricks. Besides this is where I want to come to get the job. This is the place th-"
"Who the hell let this scumbag into my bar?!" shouted a heavy acsented man's voice came from the back room. The crew turned to look, and Ian began to smirk more. "I thought I told ya never to come back to Ariel, yojimbo! It would be bad for ya!." The man was heavy set, and limping. His large red beard gave away his heritage as he grinned. He had one good eye and a patch over the other, and his clothes were dirty and stained. Ian grinned and embraced the man, his smirk now a smile.
"Yeah well, you know Im a slow learner, Claude." Ian turned to the crew, "Guys, this is Claude. Claude, this is the crew of the ship I am on. We're looking for work."
"Oh yeah? What kind of work, boyo?" He said, smile becoming less broad as buiness came up. "I got a few to choose from... some not so safe, some not so legal, and some of both..."

Ian grinned as the big man pulled a chair to the table. "Well, in truth, it is up to the captain. I'm just the hir--"
"You still aint a captain' boyo? How long have ya' been skirtin with tha' idea and always just sittin' back." Claude eyed Ian, "Ever since Montress-"
"The Job." Ian said flatly, his grin gone. "Tell me what you have goin'."

Neo had saw that Ian and the captain had it under control. He took a drink and walked over to a courner and began chatting it up with some of the common folk.

Samantha felt that now would be a good time to put on her charms. That way they might get something good out of this. Samantha smirked and shook her head, "Mr. Claude, do forgive the obnoxise behavior of my new cohort. Believe me when I say that I feel that it could use some work." Ok, so that isn't really a good thing to say about a person you need to work with. Hopefully he'll understand. "But never mind about that. You say that the jobs are either unsafe, illegal, or both. But what I'm wondering is what job is it you want to have done." Samantha looked over at Alex with an expression asking her if it was alright for her to step up like that.

Alex shrugged and watched the scene intently. She figured she's wait and see how Ian and Sam handled the situation. 'No sense steppn in if they have this handled' she thought.

"Oh, so you be the cappin' den, eh?" Claude said, his gruff accent coming out, "Well.... I can trust my boy Ian, but the rest of you, I don't know if you could past muster. I got a smiple shipping job that needs done quick. Ice to the outter rim planets... but then... maybeh I'm wrong." He lowered his voice. "There is a crime lord on that world... the shipment is a bait to get him to deal openly long enough for another group of... 'individuals' to make his head vanish..."

Samantha felt a little embarased now. And after hearing what the job involves she now feel like she had just stuck both her feet in her mouth, cause now he thinks she's the captain and saying anything to the contrary would not go in favor to the real captain. Samantha looked over at Alex to see how she feels on this.

Noise started to come out of the corner where Neo walked over to. It started to sound alot like singing. "So give me a woman, And a nicely fried goose, Its warm and its tender, And she's really loose!
We go to have fun! From moon rise till the sun! We eat what we want! We have who we wish! The girls are real hott! And we have a full dish!"

Samantha felt a little relieved that Alex wasn't upset. And if Claude were to think anything, it may be just her silently making an agreement with the first mate. On the way things were at the moment she's going to need to make it seem that way. "I believe that we can do this," said Samantha before lowering her voice, "What is the payment?" Samantha noticed some singing going on, but decided to keep with the negotiations. She needed to keep things going well.

Alex glared at Zach. She wasn't sure if it was Zach singing or not but she knew they shouldn't be making a scene.

Claude tapped his knucles on the table. "Payment for the Transport is 50,000 cred each, payed after you come back. The supply will be provided... that said, I want to have some... 'collateral' in case it don't go so well..." He smirked at Sam, then looked to Alex, "That pretty one... I'll put her to work 'ere untill the rest of ya com--"
"No." Ian said, at Claude's thinly vailed lust. "No?" Claude said with some disgust. "You don't want da job then I;ll ju-" "No one else will touch this job, private." Ian said, his eyes narrowing. "I save your hide more times than we both could count back in the war. You owe me this. I'll make sure the job is done. She comes with us." Claude paused, then hurraumphed. "30,000." He said. "80,000. Hazard pay." Claude glared. "45." Ian shook his head, "75. And this for you." Ian pulled out the Goverment ID badge and put it on the table. "Savy?" Claude blinked, then nodded without a response. "Claude, 75,000 each. 25 in advance." Claude looked up at Ian mouth agape. "Y-y-yeah.. .sure thing L-Tee."

Alex was surprised by Ian's smart negotiating skills. She flared with anger when Claude gestured to her and only calmed herself with the sizable amount they were going to make.
