"Oh no, what's wrong with my baby boy?" She runs over to Vitae and holds him. "Oh honey, are you sick? Are you okay? What's wrong sweetie? I'm so sorry I'm such a bad mother and I couldn't take care of you. Are you injured sweetie? Oh please tell me!!!"
"Oh good, mother. I'm getting married."
She lets out a loud cry of joy, "Oh I'm so happy!!!"

Olan watched the celebratory moment between Gaia and Vitae, though he couldn't help feeling a bit gloomy. Should he not be happy for the god? Why was he feeling that weird pain again?

Although Gaia was cheerful Vitae didn't look nearly as happy. He had a small grin on his face but ti seemed cold and his eyes lacked joy.
Helios walked up behind Vitae and held him close, "Are you all right my love?"

Timiki noticed the unhappiness of the situation and sighed, exasperated. She knew things weren't supposed to be like this, and she was sure Aphrodite had been hoping Olan and Vitae would get together. Unfortunately, feelings weren't meant to be detected by those who felt them, even when others could.

"Ugh, this is becoming painful to watch!" Aphrodite said to herself from a distance. "Why couldn't I have arrows like cupid?" She starts to pace the clouds and decided to use her last resort. "All right... For the fate of the world..." She drifted over to Olan and gently touched his face. His body started to grow hot and filled with desire. "This shall bring out his true feelings and maybe... Maybe Vitae will realize his love for Olan as well.

The sudden change startled Olan, and he rushed away to be alone. After setting Timiki down where she couldn't sink through the clouds, the human tried to understand what was happening to him. This strange desire... was this love that he was feeling? But why now? He was feeling a bit scared now, unsure of whether or not he should ask Aphrodite for advice.

"I-I can't... Vitae's getting married to Helios. I don't need another god getting mad at me," Olan said, backing away slightly. "Besides, I doubt he'd be interested in someone like me, who had depressed him and killed off too many animals than I could ever use."

Aphrodite smacked her forehead. Very, very hard. "Either way you're going to have a god angry at you. And if it's not Vitae it's going to be me! And I'll have twice the wrath that Vitae has! Not only will the relationship be doomed to fail, I'll be mad at you for not at least TRYING to do something to fix it! NOW GO OUT THERE AND FIGHT FOR YOUR LOVE!!!

"Er... Yes, ma'am," Olan said, unable to say anything now. Defeatedly, he picked up Timiki and made his way to where he last saw Vitae. Perhaps he could try to gradually tell the god how he felt. It should be less awkward.

"I guess... But... I just don't know..." Vitae lets out a deep sigh and lays down on a cloud. "Something just... doesn't feel right... Helios doesn't really talk to me much and when we do he never seems interested...." The god heaved another heavy sigh and looked at Olan, "I wish he was more like you... You always listened to me..."

Vitae sighed, "I don't know... And his schedule is so hectic... Raise the sun and lower the sun for about.... 16 hours and then comes home a night for 8... I'm afraid we wouldn't see each other... What kind of life is that?"
