CVDraculaX Thats the one I meant, it was worse than the other one, I mean the Jean Claude one was so bad it was at least memorable, this one is so bad you wish it didn't exist and it would burn in the 9th circle of hell Worst yet it was Raul Julia's last movie ever, too bad he did a pretty bad movie for his final performance sad Though he did a great job of acting his role, just sucks the script writing and re-imagining was terrible. No fireballs, M.Bison had no psycho-powers and people who were supposed to be neutral/good ended up somehow working for evil. Like Dhalsim, I understood how he was written in and the actor chosen is a good actor but by far he is no Dhalsim, he's supposed to stretch and stuff, that's his thing. Though they did make him look closer to how he's supposed to look at the end when he was scarred up >_>; Also, the whole Ryu and Ken being a bunch of con artists really got to me, they're supposed to be more important in the game than they were in this movie. Ryu IS Street Fighter. I've also heard people complain and argue that American movie makers hate the idea of having a foreigner be the hero when they can help it. I heard this long rant during a Street Fighter cartoon youtube video among a few posters. Quite the convincing argument since some movies that were re-made are changed around to have an american protagonist and setting gonk I am all for creativity and american pride but leave foreign heroes and locations be as is talk2hand

Shouldn't the thread's title be changed, or at least the first post, seeing as how the movie has finally been slain?
I'm sure someone has already posted about this, since the news has been out for a week now, you can read it here.
Kotaku posted about it a couple of days later (the 28th I think?). I'm glad, really. The movie sounded like complete rubbish. :/

~*~ | ...und weck mich nie wieder auf! | This has been the greatest videogame-related news since Jack Thompson got disbarred crying I made the change just now in the first post/title. Should I lock this thread or just keep it around to continue ripping the idea a new one? rofl

@ Jinsouki: It's up to you I guess. If someone revives the movie you can always unlock it, but there's no real point to keep harping on a movie that doesn't exist anymore. It's like kicking a dead horse... which is definitely not a real expression. I forget what I was going to say. xD
@ Yuffie: If you read Kotaku, you would have seen his name thrown around A LOT. He was involved with a whole bunch of law suits, many of which being video game related. He was rather...eccentric.

So Mr. FCastle... You've seen the Chun Li movie? And it's as bad as Double Dragon or movies like that? Gee, I thought that actress wouldn't get involved in a bad movie but, I guess work is work, yes? rolleyes Jinzouki CVDraculaX Thats the one I meant, it was worse than the other one, I mean the Jean Claude one was so bad it was at least memorable, this one is so bad you wish it didn't exist and it would burn in the 9th circle of hell Worst yet it was Raul Julia's last movie ever, too bad he did a pretty bad movie for his final performance sad Though he did a great job of acting his role, just sucks the script writing and re-imagining was terrible. I just didn't get why they couldn't do a more close version to what the game was about. I thought the actor playing Sagat was all wrong cuz he was way to skinny for it.

Princess Yuffie Kisaragi regardless um, who's jack thompson? sweatdrop This attorney and a IRL troll from Florida, had a long career trying to whine about videogames turning kids into killers and trying to declare certain games "a public nuisance" legally. He freaking failed though cause the courts had enough of his bullshit and got permab& from practicing law. So now he can't even ambulance chase rofl You can read up on him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Thompson_(attorney) or here which I find funnier: http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Jack_Thompson (warning, has like 1 or 2 bad images, not really porn but just throwing it out there just in case)
