Xaix left the classroom and headed to his dorm to check on Nero.
Antares, who was watching the entire time, shook his head and smiled. "That boy, his priorities are certainly much more different to what other people would have in this situation...I just hope this three year gap doesn't change that about him." He continued his work studying and preparing for the opening of the portal.

Melody set up stations at just about every city. She got some of her friends from her siren tribe to look out for Cronus. Melody flew back after a few hours to talk to Mr.Archaona. She entered the room and her hair was still black but getting lighter. Um sir... I have a favor to ask. It's about Cronus.

Antares, still preparing for the spell, stopped and looked at her. "Miss Rhapsody, I did not expect you to return so soon...how may I be of assistance?" Antares was still unsure if he could fully trust her, but he knew he was in no position to distance potential help.

Well I can only stay for a few minutes. But you see Cronus wasn't always evil he is just...like me. He was pushed over the edge. We were really good friends and I know somewhere in him he is still good, even if it is just a little part. It is fuzzy how everything went but I remember days when he wasn't like this, where he was fun and happy...then something happened and he betrayed us, betrayed me. She said a little hurt. He was my best friend so do you mind if I try to talk to him before attacking? Also if everyone could stay here while I fight if necessary. No reason for others to get hurt, or in the way. Melody asked with a serious tone of voice.

It depends. I am trying some things before I get violent. But if it comes down to it, I will need all the help I can get. But I intend to kill every vampire. Melody stared at her to make sure she knew that included Tasusa.

Antares thought for a moment. He didn't like the idea of Melody confronting him by herself, but if she could talk Cronus out of whatever he was planning, then maybe the conflict could end without any casualties.
"Very well then. Once Cronus is back in this world, you have exactly eighteen hours to convince him not to do what he's planning. After that, we will intervene if necessary."
Antares looked at Melody sadly. "Miss Rhapsody...you are aware that I am every bit against what you intend to do to the Vampire civilisation, yes? Furthermore, as a teacher, I cannot allow you to cause any harm to the Vampiric students. If it looks like you are about to do this, I have no choice but to stop you myself...is that clear?" His voice was calm and unshaken. he knew what power Melody possessed, but he took a sacred oath to protect all living things when he became a Great Sage, he couldn't just abandon his main duty so easily.

Yes I am aware that you are against it. I am also aware that you will try to stop me. But I am afraid that will not stop me. I will do what I must do if I feel it is right. I am taking sometime to think before I do anything. But I doubt after you see my true potential you will see my way. But for now I have called a truce. So I must leave and direct the rest of our stations locations. Melody collects her things in order to leave.

Antares nodded, he saw the determination in her eyes, there was no way to convince her otherwise. "I see...while it still concerns me that you have these intentions, I understand..."
He watched as Melody left the room and whispered to himself. "Good luck, Melody...I just hope you can reason with him before it's too late." He slowly went back to his preparations."
