The flower is an Allium, a symbol for unity, but it looks a little odd to me, almost as if in mourning... Oh well, what do you think?
It does look sad...maybe the angle of the flowers?
The circle is also a symbol of unity. I wouldn't have gussed that those flowers stood for unity. We need our symbol to be simple and easly recognized. While that could be considerd simple, it is much more complex than the normal one.
Perhaps, you might want to make a banner for us? The allium could work in it. One could also add in other relivent symbols, like an olive branch, it has long been a symbol of peace, even the U.S. seal has one on it. I'm sure other sumbols could be found.
This might solve the problem.
