Both wolf and Egyptian looked in one direction then the other. A mix of two different voices catching both of their attention.
Eclipse's own ears dropped. "Ow...well that was Nailah. She doesn't sound right...at all. Split. You get the girl, I got the angel. She's in the courtyard." Eclipse bounded off in the direction he heard Azaireal, seeing as he had registered the voice.
Aura nodded after the wolf and walked off in the direction that was told to her, Eclipse's ears never lied. She looked out into the courtyard, only to spot the girl. "Nailah?"

"Aura....it's so sad." She stood up and walked over to Aura, the tears streaming down her cheeks. She threw her arms around her and sobbedi nto her shoulder. "He shouldn't have to live with it. It's too much...it's just not fair. Not fair at all. And his stupid mother. OOH i could strangle her with my own hands. To make him feel like that. It's just wrong! She lapsed into Egyptian. "He was just a child. An innocent child. Well he still is. A child. Btu no longer innocent. That damn village! GRRR! I could kill them all." She pulled away from Aura and continued with her tirade. "It's wasn't his fault! I mean he was just curious...is that such a crime?"

The angelic voice ceased its song. "Troubeld youth." The angel stands still. "Aurahkah is certainly popular."
The angel ponders what to do. The scent of shadows grows. "Eclipse is near."

Aura blinked a few times and let her head tilt to the side in complete confusion. "Nailah...what are you talking about? I know you're upset but I can't do anything about it if I don't know why and I am clearly in the dark.
Coming around a corner Eclipse spotted Azaireal. "There you are archangel. I knew I had heard you. You know anything about what's wrong with the girl? I'm sure you heard her moments ago."

"I...talked to Khenu for a while. He told me everything. Did you know he wasn't born that way? He was just a normal little boy. He was only six. Six years old. See...." she paused. Khenu had told her in confidence. Seh sat down on the grass and erupted into tears. "I...I can't tell you?!" she sobbed. "I want to tell you so badly but...i just can't...." She put her head into her hands and sobbed.

Azaireal perks his eyes. "Perhaps she is in danger?"
Both he and Eclipse suddenly are in the courtyard, within arms reach of Aurahkah.

Aura merely nodded at the information before her look softened considerably at Nailah's crying. It was a heart wrenching sight to say the least. She approached the girl and kneeled down next to her, laying an arm across her shoulders. "Nailah...Nailah calm down." Whatever it was she wasn't supposed to tell, Aura pretty much figured it was about Khenu. "I'm sure that if Khenu told you something...he will tell us when he is ready for the rest of us to know. You don't' have to tell for him." She stood up, pulling Nailah up with her. "Don't cry. It's alright."
At the switch Eclipse stood oddly in the new surroundings with a flap of wings in surprise. "Ah...angel movement..." His ears flattened again as he saw both Aurahkah and Nailah. Instead of words, he merely whimpered in their direction.
Aura looked over her shoulder to the wolf and angel. "She's alright."

"No, it's not. But it will be....eventually." SHe sniffed. "I'm sorry Aura...I just needed to cry...and I knew you would let me. I wish I could tell you but I couldn't stand it if he hated me. That would break my heart." She looked around her and realized that Eclipse was standing there with a new man. He had the 'angel' look about him and she instantly distrusted him. Good things never came from angels it seemed. Past experiences had taught her that. She quickly wiped her eyes and tried to erase the smudges on her cheeks. She knew her eyes were red, she had cried way too much. Seh sighed and said, "Join the party."

"No apologies needed. My 'little sisters' used to cry all over me all the time. I'm quite used to it." She gave Nailah a pat on the shoulder and a reassuring smile. "Come inside now." She took Nailah by the wrist, leading her back inside and into the kitchen. She let go of her and proceeded to the sink where she wet a cloth that was lying close by with cold water and brought it over to her. "Here, wipe your face with this."
Eclipse cast a look to Azaireal. "Just another typical day it seems..." That said he fluffed his wings and slightly tumbled as he walked into the manor, still a bit disoriented, and padded is way with a clank of gold bangles into the kitchen.

Nailah took the cloth and repaired the damage to her face. "Call me Niah, Aura." She finished wiping her tear-stained cheeks and tossed the cloth back to the sink. It fell short and with a slap hit the floor. Glaring at it she stood up and picked up the rebellious piece of fabric and forcibly threw it into the sink. "Would you fix me a drink, Aura?" she asked giving her the cute look. 'Please?"

"Everywhere I go, people seem to be disillusioned by angels... Are we becoming evil?"
Azaireal watches the new girl's emotions clearly. "Hearts are the greatest gift." Azaireal produces a flower, and gestueres it toward the disheartend youth. "Here, it will comfort you." The flower radiats a white light, and warms the air, as though a welcoming embrace.

Aura laughed softly and shook her head. "Just like them..I swear." None the less she did what was asked of her, pouring a glass of wine for Nailah and one for herself as well. She returned to the table and set the glasses down and took a seat herself. "Why Niah?" She took a sip from her glass and smiled over its rim at Azaireal gesture to comfort a girl he knew nothing about.

Nailah accepted the flower with a soft smile. "My greatest thanks. Yes, the heart is the greatest gift but also the greatest sorrow. It seems it brings both love and despair." She walked to the table and took the seat across from Aura. Taking her glass she took a sip and sighed in satisfaction. "Nothing like a glass of wine after a good cry. Niah was the nickname Nadai gave me. And now that he's gone....I just...I want to hear it again. After all you are my family now. And it's been too long. The name signifies love for me. It's what I feel from all of you. And for all of you. It means I'm home." She finished with another sip of wine and sat there. Then she realized that she hadn't introduced herself yet. "I'm very sorry. My name is Nailah, or rather Niah if you wish. And you are?"

"I am Azaireal, Archangel Knight of the Order of the Azure Shield." Azaireal bows, "And Exile from the Celestial planes... perhaps it is not such a wonder why I am so unlike those angelic kin I left behind." Azaireal opens his six wings for a moment and closes them, "Perhaps they have lost their way, I am a crazy fool."

A chuckle from Eclipse was heard as he came to sit next to Aurahkah. "Wonderful little family we have here, isn't it Aurahkah."
"Very much so." She smiled at the wolf and leaned back in her chair, one had absentmindedly finding itself to Eclipse's fur.
