Mickey had spaced out as she watched the game and didn't even see the ball coming towards her before it was too late to dodge it.

Nariko of course haveing not noticed what happened to Larissa or even the guys oggleing her friends back before she didn't have the slightest clue as to why Hari was freting so much. She thought it was all about how he didn't trust her to go off on her own, thinking she might get lost or attack someone for blood."Please,"

"Just... stay away from other people... alright?" the man finally relented though his words would only make the kitsune think in the wrong direction again. Of course, Hari didn't take this into account, forgetting that she even had a vampiric side to her. It wasn't a common thing even with people coming from other worlds so he didn't seem to be worry about it.
BAMF! The volleyball had hit the girl square in the face before bouncing off and rolling in the sand. Basa, who had been expecting the girl to catch the ball, started to laugh at the girl for not realizing that a volleyball was about to smack her in the face. Ran and Higis, however, were wide-eyed when the ball did so.
"AWrheat hyaopupe anlerdight?!" Ran and Higis started at the same time, their words blending into each other.
(Ran: are you alright?!
Higis: what happened?)

The ball had knocked Mickey off-balance and her arms had givven out, allowing her to fall backwards on the sand. She half-sat up and wrinkled her nose, rubbing it with one hand. "Ow..."

Basa seemed to find the whole situation hilarious, not stopping to help because he was laughing so hard. Ran, however, was trying to look around for something to put on the girl's nose and Higis had gone up to the team that had spiked the ball to yell at them. The only male to have stayed calm was Shorn, who merely smiled in meek amusement.

Claw had eventually made it back to the shore. The sand wasn't nearly as hot anymore, because the water had cooled him down, but it did stick to the soles of his feet in a rather disgusting way. Claw lifted his foot and rested it on the bent shin of his other knee. The boy scraped off some of the sand, but it was only coated over again when he took another step. Even worse, now his hand had some damp sand on it as well. He made a face, which still was red and black and blue on one cheek from the punch.

Nariko felt a pasrak of angery as his doupts were vioced out and she was glad that he finally caved because she felt she couldn't be near him now."Thanks alot for the trust Hari!"she snaped at him scarasticly before walking off in the direction Mickeys scent was.

The girl's cheeks flushed and she snapped her head around to glare at Basa. "What's so funny?!" she asked him, though she probably would have laughed in his place.

"?" Hari watched Nariko angrily leave the two before looking at Larissa with a look that seemed to ask "what'd I say wrong?" He was only looking out for her so that she wouldn't have to go through what Larissa had. "Uhm... Should we go try to find you a suitable shirt?"
"You-" the man started, finding it hard to breathe or even talk while laughing, "You- You...Haha, the ball..."

"What did you say?" Mickey adjusted so that rather than sitting on her butt she was on her knees and facing Basa. "I didn't quite catch that." She wore a disgruntled expression, but she was just playing for the most part.
"Ah... please..." Larissa replied to Hari. She was also unsure as to why Nariko was so ticked.

Claw glanced over his shoulder, where his wings limply were hung. The white feathers were slicked together into clumps, and pieces of seaweed and some other floating ocean. This caused the angel to frown- that's what he hated about swimming in something that wasn't filtered out. And his hair was a mess, too! He didn't even have a towel to dry himself off with! Grumbling quietly to himself, Claw climbed further onto the sure. He kept his eyes out for Hari's duffle bag (because his bag was next to it), but the angel couldn't find it. "Dammit!"

Nariko had her arms arossed with her towel still draped over her shoulders. Her tail wagged more than normal though that was tor try and fling the sand and water off of it. She sniffed the air every so often to scent Mickey and would contuied on in that direction. How dare Hari think that she would harm one of the locals! It made her even more ticked the more she thought about it and planed to complain to Mickey and asked her to talk to Hari about it since they seemed good friends.
(how far away is Mickey?)

Basa managed to calm down a bit before he started speaking again. "You should have... dodged that ball, airhead," he told her before grinning in an amused yet mocking fashion. He hadn't laughed that hard in such a long time.
Hari nodded and packed many of the items on the sand into the duffel bag, including Mickey's things. If Nariko found her then they wouldn't have to worry about Mickey coming back for her clothes. When he was done packing, he started for the boardwalk, keeping Larissa nearby. His hair seemed to be dripping with sea water still, having given both towels to the girls.
(Yes, Claw was neglected. Hari thinks no one's going to rape a guy xD)

"What did you just call me?!" the half demon's hands clenched into fists which were raised at about chest level.
Larissa didn't go more than a few feet from Hari, if even that much, the entire time.
