This night kind of went downhill. I've apparently done something to cause my shoulders, neck, and back to hurt.
Internet decided to freak out on me adding stress which caused the body parts above to hurt worse.
And I'm considering leaving deviantART..I feel like I'm wasting my time posting on there. There's no point on posting art on there for feedback when no one gives a crap about it and are too busy worshipping the "popluars". I'm tired of that popluarity contest.
I kind of need that feedback as seeing as of this moment my only source of income is my art since it would get my name out there.
for the good news. Looks like Sammy the new family bird has settled in nicely. He's a sweetie and loves attention. Apparently, hair, fingernails (that are still attached to one's fingers), glasses, and other objects are fun to chew on if it is allowed. He loves being petted and scratched on the neck. He does really cute chirp when you're petting him.

Krissim Klaw FogSage 6K PER ARTIST?! Augh, my eyes! gonk This is why you need to be a art whore/miser like me. The cheaper you can get your art, the better it is. Anyways......I have a busy day tomorrow, so wish me luck. I HAVE TO GET UP AT EIGHT IN THE MORNING to drive to a nearby town to go to freshman orientation, which, I assume, lasts until 3 oclock in the afternoon, after which I must hurry my a** back to town and go to work until eight at night. Hoo boy, this is going to require LOTS of coffee. PRAY FOR ME! crying Fog, spending 6k on an artists would be like spending $2 in real money. It's basicly jack squat. The fact you say that you should spend nothing on art just makes you sound like a real jerk in my opinion. I'm sorry us artists' aren't worth any of your time or effort. You want art, but you only want it for free or for pennies. But then again, I'm sure you don't expect to get paid for your time or effort either. I'm sure you work your job for free too. Rant aside, Rainy I hope you are able to get your money back, althoug I have a feeling that you might not be that lucky. If nothing more the people should be banned from their accounts. For people like me, the cheaper you can get a thing, the more money you can horde for later use on worthless, expensive crap. I don't know if you can understand that. If you really want real money so badly, then only do RL commisions and to hell with Gaia. I know perfectly well that Gaia Gold has no monetary value, but for someone like me, it's very important. I like Gaia. I like dressing up my avatar, buying stuff from the Marketplace, and that requires massive ammounts of gold, most of which I do not have. Forgive me for being cheap in RL AND on Gaia. razz I consider artists highly patient people worthy of respect and admiration because, hell, I can't draw stick figures for s**t. Someone is bound to know how to draw, and if the price is right, I'll get on my knees and beg them to art for me. Anyway, that's besides the point. The point is, if you don't want to waste your time doing Gaia comissions, then don't do them. Put up threads saying that in order for US to get real art, we have to pay you REAL MONEY. However, don't expect a big increase in sales, because paying for stuff over the internet or even through the mail is risky and can potentially get lost and end up in the wrong hands, the kind of hands that will suck your bank account dry in a matter of days. Wow, I talked a lot. o.o

Unfortunatly, Gaia wont allow them to do that anymore. They can still have cash commissions, but they also must offer ones for gold as well. Of course, that doesn't mean they can't have the price so high in Gaia gold that the cash price seems reasonable in comparison. xd

Slews of them in fact; the VCL, DeviantArt, ect, ect....... Anyway........went to college today, turns out I was two days early. I got up at seven in the morning (still under the impression school started today) and began swearing fluently, seeing as how the college is thirty minutes away, and I had no time to shower or even drink a cup of coffee. I got to Sallisaw (the city the college is located in) and, after a quick stop at McDonalds, got my a** to the campus, where I spent a good ten minutes in a dark room waiting for someone to show up. A janitor pokes his head in and asks me what I'm doing. I tell him I'm waiting for the class to begin. "Son, the fall schedule starts in two days." So here I am, sitting in the dark, like a shmuck, with my books and notebook on the table......nothing like getting up after five hours of sleep to find out that you're a complete idiot. =_= *sulks*

GAH!!! SO ITCHY!!!!
I wake up at 2:17AM today to find my back is covered in Mozzie bites.... and I'm allergic to mozzies. So now my back is lumpy and so friggin itching, when I first woke up, I started to itch my back until I found the bites. So now the bites are worse because they've been irritated.... so I'm going to have to patiently wait another 4 hours before I can have a shower. This is really going to test my ability to ignore the urge to itch gonk

FogSage Well, there are other sites on which to advertise their artwork, aren't there? Slews of them in fact; the VCL, DeviantArt, ect, ect....... I never once got a commission from anyone on DA because of the popluarity contest. It's all about the eye candy. So using DA advertise my art for money is useless because no one cares. All of my commissions paid with real money came from Furbid.

Currently, the librarians in the school library have told me that I'm not allowed to do as much as I was allowed to get away with since final exams are about 8 weeks away. I'm actually laughing at them because they don't know me well enough to remember that I've never listened to them for about... let's say... the entire time I've been at this school. Anyway, I don't look up porn or anything major. The only major thing that I do is use Meebo to talk to my mate.

neutral Gettin a little sick o this...
Why does no one(cough, my mom namely) trust anyone to do their job? Sure, proffessionals make mistakes, but if you suspect them of doing so, you can just question them! For Pete's sake, you don't need to walk away and say "We shouldn't listen to that doctor/lawyer/counselor who's trying to help us; I know what I'm doing, because a friend of a friend who studied in a field related to that once said that might not work, and we should trust /them/, not this two-bit proffessional who handles these cases on a day-to-day basis."
Cuz this is exactly what happened today--my mom made a descision based on what someone she barely knows who barely studied in the same field said, and she WOULD NOT let either my dad or I have a say in it, even though we were in the same room. When I talk to her about it, not only will she not admit that she might be wrong, but she just turns it on me because I'm the person this discision is regarding. Doesn't that mean that I should at least have a say in it?!

I'm doomed.
I have no motivation whatsoever. And there's no way I can make myself be motivated, because there's nothing to be motivated about. Each day is dull, repetitive, boring.
And now I'm having to choose between having a job or going to college: I'm convinced that I cannot handle both at the same time. It's going to take all the time I've got to slog through the doubtless mountains of homework I'm going to be recieving soon, leaving no time to go do physical labor for minimum wage for 4 hours a day.
Life sucks right now.
Oh, and I won't be able to get on Gaia nearly as much. T.T
