[I felt like he should be special :3]

"You're the serve- Oh wait, no you're not," Basa laughed before tossing the ball towards the other team. It was the newcomers team that would be the one to serve during the practice games.

The new team was extremely good, being strong and fast. On top of that, about half of the team was made up of girls. Though the guys on Mickey's team tried hard to oogle, it was hard not to.

The team managed to pull through, by a couple of points, by the end of the game, but it was a lot harder to do so. Still, even without Mickey, Basa and the guys were a slightly better-than-average team. With Mickey on the team, however, their overall rank went from a B to and A Rank team.

"Tired already?" Basa asked, teasing the girl lightly. It was hard to see if the man was flushing at all but his breathing was a bit heavy. He did not let that, however, make him bend down and look at the sand. "We're done for now!" he called out to the other groups that were waiting so that two groups would get on the field.
Ran seemed to be the one who was the most worn out from the guys, but he was also the one who had paid the least amount of attention to the girls. He had done a good amount of saves where the ball went out of bounds, along with a good amount of spikes. Ran's spikes were noticeable since if people didn't send it back or get out of the way, it would end up coming back up to smack them in the face.
"We should get some cream!" Higis spoke, seemingly unaffected by the games. The boy couldn't do spikes at all, a problem with being shorter than the net but he was good at passing the ball to other players.

All four guys seemed to silently agree with which place to stop by, walking off towards what looked like a straw hut between the boardwalk and the beach. They were, of course, half-expecting Mickey to follow after them.
"We might actually win this time!" Higis spoke excitedly, "That's what you want, right Basa?"
"Mm, but there's always the fact that the Sea Sernts dominate everyone," Basa spoke, his voice clearly stating that he did not like the Sea Sernts, another team.
"They cheat though!" the boy spoke, his voice growing shrill. It was a little odd to hear the girl-ish voice coming from a male.
"No, they do everything according to the rules, if only barely," Ran pointed out, "There's not much-"
"They ALWAYS pay off the judges to make bad calls!" Higis argued, frowning, "Those rich boys aren't better than us! Basa's the best player overall and Ran, you and Shorn are some of the meanest spikers around! Now we have Mickey! We have to win!"

The place that the team had walked into looked like a bar for drinking alcohol. Still, Higis rushed forward, hopping into one of the seats quickly without falling out. "Cream~ I want gummy cream!" the boy called out.
"Why does he always act like this outside of the game," Ran sighed, sitting a couple of seats away from the boy, "That energy should be used for hitting that ball... I'll have a Vermillion Beach." The teen rested his head on his hand, watching the person behind the bar pull out a bowl and a large glass.
"Sernts Venom," Basa called, sitting between Ran and Higis without turning his body towards the bar.
"M.C." Shorn spoke in a deep voice, taking his place between Basa and Higis.
"You're still ordering M.C.'s?" Basa asked, laughing in a teasing fashion. It was enough to make the quiet man go red in the face before he hid the face on the bar's counter in his arms.

"Hey, Mickey, you can sit over here if you like," Ran spoke up, noticing that the girl was standing a few feet away. He motioned to the empty seat next to him. The gummy cream that was given to Higis looked like a jell-o ice cream hybrid while the Vermillion Beach looked like a crimson, grainy sort of smoothy. It wasn't too long before a purple-black drink with a white liquid in the center appeared for Basa and a kiddie-looking sundae came for Shorn.
