Finally, she couldnt fight anymore, all that was heard were her sobs and muffled screams. Her body trembled as Toku carried her off, her sobs and screams could be heard, but she couldnr speak, breathe, or fight.

As he stood there he sheathed both of his chikai tantou kens and spotted several Ico rebels hidden behind the trees. Some of them notice and gave a slight shiver because of the manslayer glare he gave them. Even his gaze can strike a person with fear and it was because of the very memory of him in the last five years in the war is what terrified people , but it wasn't just the memory that was in the last five years, it was because of what he have done in the war. Some of them only thought that he was a mere legend when he vanished into training as was never seen again because the joining of the Odah clan. Rayne stood there for a moment and started to utter a spell in a ancient language.

The sky itself, darken and was covered in storm clouds. As the clouds were starting the cover the sky, the ground that was below the hitokiri showed a spell binding circle with japanses characters that resided on six corners of the circle. The circle itself glowed in a mid blueish winter aura and the japanse characters were in a whiteish green aura. Suddenly the dark sky also had the japanse character and those characters appeared on the whole entire field as well. The characters itself was translated :"Light and Dark, both are effects that can either cause destruction or creation". All the characters started to go into a swirl like motion that went into the spell-binding circle and as the characters went into the circle the dark sky started clear up, but one thing was different and it was Rayne. He was glowing in a whiteish blue aura and everyone that was around him started to notice that his strength was much more different than before and it seems that his speed was also different.

All the Ico rebels that were within the forest were staring at both of the generals with awe and was suprised that the hitorkiri Ten Hinote was also strong in hand-to-hand combat, since they have never seen him use his fist before. They started to feel a incredible source of power from him and started to worry about the outcome of the battle. Good....the spell...was a success....it have given me the strength to go over my full potential....it increased...by ten fold.....incrediable..on being...a sorcerer as...well... as assasin... He thought to himself and responded in a calm voice " I suppose you've already heard of me as the ' Manslayer' Rayne and I will show why I'm known as the hitokiri Ten Hinote ( Heaven's Fire)."

The arrow was strung and then pulled back. There was absolute silence as this happened, again josh waited untill he got into the groove of his breeathing. He was about to let go, but he lost his concentration and had to keep his grip on the string. Josh kept his eye on the target and with one deep breath he let the arrow go. It soared, cutting through the air, then with a small 'thunk' the arrow connected with the end of the first arrow and split it clean in two.
More moans were heard this time as the elf only had one more shot left to make and he would have won. i almost didnt make that shot, i gotta keep my concentration. The crowd were getting slightly unsettled now as they didnt want to lose their money, small shouts of "your gonna miss" and "boo" were heard all to put josh off his game. The elf shook his head and took the last arrow.

I hope those wood elves knew how to enchant properly, i need all the luck i can get
He gripped the bow with extra strength now and took a while to prepare himself. eventaully he strung the arrow and pulled the string back as far as he could. From the period from his doing this and the instant he shot the arrow, his senses heightened, he could actually smell the anxiety on the soldiers watching. His eyes regarded every part of the target and then the end of his arrow. Within an instant he had moved his bow to the side by around half a milimetre and then the arrow headed to the target. Josh closed his eyes in anticipation for the sound of an arrow splitting, it seemed like eons before the arrow his the target. To him a deafening 'thunk' was heard, his third arrow had struck the second perfectly and split it cleanly. The elf smiled broadly, he wouldnt of made the shot if he hadnt of moved the bow. The soldiers looked in dismay, they had just lost a lot of money, but to a fair oponent, they couldnt argue as they had seen it themselves. They took their pouches and tossed them at josh's feet, each adding some comment along the lines of "you got lucky". Josh didnt really care, it could have been luck or just his skill, what mattered was that he now had alot of money. Out of all the moans and groans a small clap could be heard. It was Hayabusa second in command of the valherus battalion who had been watching from afar. "very impressive, i must say i had my doubts that you would make all three, but you proved us all wrong" He laughed, then josh sat down and started to discuss matters of the war and the army with him.
