"Okay than,"Nariko said seemingly affecred by how up beat Hari was and wads starting to actually like this place. She kicked slowly so she didn't get tired but her pace stayed the same not faltering once.

"Just watch me," she threatened, though it was a partly empty threat. There wasn't much Larissa could do in her current position. She was too preoccupied to notice Claw.
"It's sport-related," Mickey told the guy as if it were obvious; "Trust me, I'm good at it." She grinned.

"Once you feel confident with your kicking, we can switch to your arm strokes. We should do breathing as well," he told her, slowly going into deeper water, but making it so that they were going in between where they had started and the deeper water.
Basa laughed a bit before tossing the ball in Mickey's direction. "We'll be counting on you then," the young man spoke before jogging into the position that he would take.
"Really? I'd like to see you try," the guy spoke, groping the girl before the man that Claw tackled dipped under the water with a startled shout. There was a lot of splashing before the head picked back up, spitting salt water out of his mouth. The guys closest to Claw had snapped around, startled that someone had attacked from behind.
The attacked man tried to pull the boy off of him, being one of the younger ones in the group and not used to any "homosexual activity" quite yet. What was more, was he was the son of an inn owner so it was most likely that he would never have to encounter such an act. "Geroff," he sputtered, pushing Claw's head backwards.

"Uh well I think I've got the kicking part down, though I move at a snails pace,"the young fox girl compained and she wasn't sure if it was beacuse she was short or just new.

"Kay~" Mickey replied with a giggle. Once everyone was in place she held the ball up and served it. She hit it a little harder than she'd intended, but didn't seem too bothered.
While they were distracted, Larissa tried to use the opportunity to break free from the guy's hold on her. A small part of her was grateful to Claw for what he did, but she would never admit it. Larissa knew full well that the angel was in no way trying to help her.

"You'll get better at it with practice," the man assured her before breaking away from her and quickly switching his position and hold. He moved the kitsune's body so that he was at her side with one arm supporting her body and the other between her chest and collar bone.
The four guys had watched Mickey serve the ball. The game was started and the guys seemed to go into their own world though they were keeping an eye out for Mickey. If she tripped over her feet, as unlikely as that was, there was always at least one guy in arms length to grab her. The girl had definitely gotten the better batch of guys.
The guy that had Larissa seemed fed up that the girl had gotten away. If she was allowed to, she was pretty quick and there didn't seem to be anyway to catch up to her if she continued to swim. "Damn..." The frustration of having a girl get away would be, of course, taken out on Claw.

Mickey, too, had gone into her own world. When she was playing sports, even guys came second to her competative nature. The half demon would not allow the ball to hit the ground if she could help it, even by diving to the ground to knock it up once or twice.

Nearly every dive ended up with a point being gained by the team, as all the guys stopped to... be guys. Of course, that gave Basa and the others time to ask whether the girl was alright the first few times. In the end, the group won their first practice round.

"Either one. Which do you want?" the man asked, letting the fox choose. It was her that was learning and not himself. He was already confident enough to not drop the girl into the water.

By the end of the first round, Mickey was beaming and had a lot of sand on her, though much of it had fallen off during the game or had been subtly brushed off by the half demon. "Do we get to keep playing, then?" she asked her teammates.

"You're really good! I didn't think you'd be that good," Higis, a boy with light freckles across the middle of his face, complimented cheerfully. He seemed to like that they had already won once.
"I would only go one more round though and let others play," Ran, a teen with platinum blonde hair and aquatic blue eyes, spoke thoughtfully, "We don't want to waste too much energy. The tournament will be starting soon."
Shorn, a male with fire-colored hair and emerald colored eyes (though the part near his pupils looked almost like a small rainbow), merely nodded his head silently. He seemed to be watching the next opponents stepping onto the field.

"Thanks~" Mickey said to Higis with another giggle. She also nodded, agreeing with Ran. "Good idea," she told him. Mickey really was enjoying herself.

[Ran feels like he'd be the better looking one... and Higis is the adorable one... and Shorn is the quiet one. Basa is, of course, the leader xD]
"Alright, we'll do one more round. We're among the last to participate in the first rounds though," Basa spoke. Basa was the tallest male in the group and had sunbeams for hair and rivers for eyes. His entire body was a dark tanned color. It was obvious that he was outside for long periods of time regularly.
