Aeife felt herself letting go. Caliesil kept getting to her with his words, and it was making her eyes well up with tears. But she couldn't crumble... She had to remain firm. She wasn't going to give in, though she needed a way to assert herself as the dominant authority and show the demon she wasn't going to give in. Her hands clenched tightly into fists and her chest puffed out.
"Stop it!" she shouted, dismissing Gordon for the moment, "Stop talking like you know me!"
A pause.
"I don't need your words. They are no comfort to me! Whatever it is you're trying, you can just give up! I refuse to give in to your manipulations!"
At that, she fell to her knees, chest heaving. She huffed, a little out of breath now, not so much from shouting or walking but from another fit of pain that threatened to consume her again. Her hand grabbed at her chest again, feeling the signature void that occured before her spasms. She looked at Gordon, though she couldn't say anything, those words planted in her mind plagueing her every thought.

*softens his voice a little* aeife, I am offering you help. you will not get very far to wherever you're going with just the clothes on your back. have I ever given you a reason not to trust me before?

"He can't help you! He thinks he can but both of us know he can't. He can give you comfert, for sort while but never control over your powers. I can give you that, I am not promissing any thign else, just that you will be able to control your powers." he said trying to act calm.
"If you want, to become that monster again fine then don't listen me and kill all those around you Aeife. I just hope after it is all done you will be able to move on."

Melia stared blankly at him for a few moments before laughing."Ah..don't worry about it. It's really nothing important anyways." She blinked a few rimes, making the object explode like before.

"alright then... so what are you doing around here? you a shard holder?"
*he hoped he wasnt bothering her with all the questions, but he was a person who asked a lot of them...*

Aeife reached across herself, grabbing hold of her upper arms as she tried desperately not to convulse. Her teeth gritted against each other, her jaw clenched tight in anticipation of an attack. As she struggled against it, a flash of something dark in her eyes lingered for a moment and was gone.
"Gor... Dan..." she squeeked out in a low voice, whimpering with pain. She wanted to apologise for shouting like that, since it wasn't directed towards him. But she couldn't get any words out.

"sorry ... i cant help you there... im not a shard holder... though i am protecting them... hmmm... i know a couple of shard holders... kranna, aiefe, i dont know any metal shard holders though..."

*heard her say something close enough to his name for his liking. trots up to her, putting his arms around her. he picked her up and caried a little further away from the edge of the barrier, a grassy spot on the other side of the clearing where he sat her down and just held her*

Ferret appeared behince Melia and hugged her. " I ish a shard holder!...But ish not a metal shard holder." Ferret tilted his head and smiled. " Guess which
type of Shard holder I am!"
