Glancing around at the quiet knock, Subaru couldn't help but purse her lips before nodding towards the door (Like they could see it, but it made her feel better).
"Yes," She replied quietly, continuing to pull her hair out of its braid so that she could tend to the silver locks once more. Anything to keep her mind off the situation she was in now and she supposed in ways she had the upper hand in this respect...they had brought parchment and ink, a sufficient amount of material for her to use to her advantage when it came to writing out all her worries...so maybe she could deal with it.

Nakago ::Because of all the disturbances continuing throughout the day...everyone was on edge, and to add to the hub-bub already passing through Kutou, the wayward bandit was drawing attentions of his own. A small platoon of guards tropped after him:: Hold it there you! "Great! What did I do now huh?" The bandit turned behind him and recognised the guards as being of Kutou. "Oh crap I'm in for it now!" He grabbed his fan from behind him (just in case) and ran for it.

Coldly passed out, Miaka heard muffled voices in the backround. In her passed out dreamworld state, Miaka opened her eyes. All she saw was blackness. She blinked and rubbed her eyes and slowly stood to her feet. She tumbled back alittle but then set herself straight. She turned her body fast to face the other side.
"Whe-Where...am I?" she said to herself, and heard the echo reply. She felt her eyes water up and as they did in her dreamworld, so did her eyes on her cold body in Nuriko's arms. She then wiped her face and put her hands up to her mouth and yelled, "Subaru-chan! Nuriko-kun! Tamahome! Hotohori!" -alas no replies. She then started to walk.
"Did I get hurt or something?" she stopped and rested her face on her hand, "The last thing I remember is the meat buns..." she then felt herself drool from the thought of the buns, and as she drooled, so did her real body. She then felt a cold shiver go down her spine and felt as if something was on her shoes, which travled to her kneehighs, then to her skin and she felt a huge lump in her throat and felt as if she could breathe. She gasped and screamed Nuriko's name and fell to the ground and violently shook in her dream world.
Miaka's body on the outside was no better. Her body turned blue and she shook even more violently in Nuriko's arms and she gasped for air and slowly said, "Nuri...ko" softly. Miaka felt her body being thrased around and she gasped for more air.
"What's...going on..."

((Bwah! And I ish back. ^^ ))
It was all Nuriko could do to keep hold of Miaka without hurting her. He held firmly onto her as she thrashed about.
"Maika!? Whats wrong? Wake up, your dreaming!"
He tried his best to bring her back into conciousness but it wasnt seeming to work. One thing after another. Suzaku was really testing him. He wrapped his arms around her body in an attempt to cease the failing.
"Is there a doctor nearby?"
Nuriko asked the closest store owner, trying not to create a larger scene than he already had.
"Eh heh. Nothing interesting here, really. Its normal... "

Tasuki paused for a break, being able to run three times faster than everybody else gave him a great advantage. Whether the break was a mistake only time would tell. 'Is that a guy with purple hair?' he wondered as someone passed him by. 'Maybe he knows what's up with these touchy guards.' "A guy makes a little noise and suddenly he's on everyone's wanted list. Oh great, now I'm talking to myself, this is Kouji's fault!" Tasuki moved in for a closer inspection and noticed that the guy was carrying a brown haired girl who was unconscious to say the least. 'Should I help?' the bandit wondered. 'For all I know they could be on the same side as those guards. Still, girl looks like she needs help and I do still have some of those potions I got on my travels.'

"Oh, no - No I am not hungry but thank you for the offer," She replied quietly as she approached the attendants, extending her hands towards the parchment and ink as she turned her gaze towards the assortment of coloured robes for her choosing - one of pale blue was of interest to her and she calmly nodded towards the pale blue robes.
"Those please," She murmured and glanced towards the large belt that would encircle her waist, "And the royal blue belt," she added with a slight smile.
With that task completed, her eyes glazed over and she calmly turned her gaze back towards the window that she so longed to fly out of...but she couldn't until she was certain that they were all safe.

Once more...if there is anything else, just call for one of us." ::She then backed out of the room slowly and quietly bowing immediately and at the door.::

Her startled gaze fell upon the small girl, unsure what to think of the girl's intrusion. It was obvious that this girl was no ordinary small girl and it clearly showed from the way the small girl spoke with that wistful look upon her expression. Her brows slightly raised as the girl began speaking to her but her gaze was quick to momentarily waver away from the girl the moment Nakago began to apologize. However, her attention was quick to snap over to the young girl's the moment Miaka's name was mentioned and Yui remained silent, absorbing each and every word the small girl poured out. Had Miaka actually come for her out of concern? It didn't take long for Yui to realize that the young girl was only twisting things around and her brows dangerously narrowed at the small girl's accusations.
It seemed that every disaster that happened in other countries was either hers or Nakago's fault simply because they resided in Kutou. She was trying her best to maintain peace within the countries but it was proving to be unsuccessful because others weren't willing to cooperate. Her thoughts soon began to drift off into those of hatred as she paid little heed to the conversation going on at hand between Nakago and the small child. What kind of fool did this child think she was? She wasn't some naive child and what reasons did she have to believe the child over Nakago? She had just met the child no more than a few seconds ago. It was Nakago who had helped her survive in this world and tended to her every needs. He was the only friend she had in this world and the only one she could trust. She knew deep down in her heart that he would never betray her unlike her so called former best friend.
Miaka probably only came to stop her from summoning the beast god. Knowing Miaka, that silly girl would probably wish for something stupid like an unlimited supply of junk food for that never ending stomach of hers. Such a fool this child was to have thought that these tricks would work on someone as intelligent as her. Miaka may have fallen for such tricks but not her. Her scowl deepened the more she thought of that small child actually trying to attempt this trickery on her. She despised liars. How dare they accuse her and Nakago of being the bad guys here when it was they who intruded on Kutou grounds and stirred up trouble. But maybe they were brainwashing Miaka they way they were trying to brainwash her into thinking Nakago was the bad guy. Miaka is a naive and gullable girl after all, not to mention an easy target to manipulate.

Miaka was still thrasing about in her dreamworld. Deeply locked into a 'coma' state she gasped for air and managed to get her hands near her throat to somehow lessen the force choking her. Her legs had turned a deep royal blue color, and her physical body showed every symptom she exprienced in the dream world. She gasped more and more for air and with all her might she thrashed about. What exactly WAS this? She didn't understand. She muttered Nuriko's name many times hoping he'd hear her but in her mind only comsumed Yui. Did Yui experience this? As the thought of Yui experiencing this pain ran through Miaka's mine she let her body become less tense. She felt her body go limb and she continued to get the force take her body over. She felt her body go cold...numb and her heart slowed down.
"Yui...if you went through ANYTHING compared to this...I'll go through it too"

"Go and tell her, I am sure that she can find her way there without violating the Lady Yui's trust even more than it has already been violated..."
::The last words lingered, 'another priestess', and he pondered them as he waited for Yui and himself to be left alone.:: Korin-Chan The tiny girl sighed and simply wandered off to do her 'duty', this of course was to transport Subaru safely to the palace without harming people but in order to do that she would really have to go 'all out' on the illusionary spells. Like subaru, she could muster and control magic, although not to the extent of the seishi and as a result, she could harness the powers to scare the people away from the caccoon like object.
Her tiny figure soon faded from view as she began to walk the ethereal planes..... Niftyness Miaka probably only came to stop her from summoning the beast god. Knowing Miaka, that silly girl would probably wish for something stupid like an unlimited supply of junk food for that never ending stomach of hers. "A remarkable little creature that will have to be dealt with very carefully...but let's not think about her. There are more important things to discuss..and we have yet to have a chance for a decent meal."
::Out of respect, he waited for her to begin eating before he would. He was unsure of exactly how she would take the information poured onto her, and was readying himself to be questioned, should any doubt be instilled within her about him.::
"I think the first thing we should discuss would be the transformation of Kutou...with you as its new head."- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Nakago ::The single servant Nakago had specifically directed was following one of the few scholars that resided in the palace through the libraries. Tomes and scrolls lined shelves and the scholar led the way as the servant specified Nakago's instructions.:: ::Searching through the libraries, the scholars turned up a few scrolls with similar such things to twhat was described to them...they knew Nakago would be able to find what he needed if they would provide him with all the information they had, so they began lpulling scrolls and tomes...verifying the information, and handing a few pertinent ones to the servant.::

Her thoughts were soon interrupted by the familiar voice of Nakago and Yui was quick to snap her head up, automatically glancing over at Nakago with a blank expression upon her face. "Nani? ....Oh yes, of course.." Yui answered, quick to regain her composure as it took a couple of seconds to realize that Nakago was no longer addressing to the small girl that was no longer present but to her.
She hadn't even realized she had dazed out like that until now. It seemed as though she allowed her inner thoughts to get the best of her. Her voice slightly paused over the last word as she scanned through her mind to come up with a right way of asking Nakago her lingering question. She knew it was a bit off subject but she just had to get his insight on her question before her mind could actually focus on something else. He had proved to give out great advice in the past and basically knew all the right decisions to make. Still...she was a bit hesitant to ask him since they were suppose to be talking about her future as the emperess of Kutou.
The fact that she had something on her mind was obvious as she momentarily thought over her question but she was quick to brush that thought aside thinking it would be best to ask him at a much later time. So instead, she glanced down at her meal before her and took in the first small bite so it would seem that she was waiting for Nakago to finish speaking his thoughts before she spoke. However, a huge part of her knew that Nakago knew her better than that.

"Hm, yes -" Subaru grimaced as she examined the robes and then glared towards the wall where the cushions remained piled against it, "I know you are there," She growled in a menacing tone, her eyes narrowing to mere slits as she waited for a sign of response, "Now make yourself useful and help me, it's the least you can do considering the lousy situation you put me into," She mumbled and with a 'pop' Keiko reappeared.
The wraith raised a brow at the irritated warrior and calmly approached, extending her hands to take the pale blue robes while she waited for Subaru to cleanse and prepare herself to wear a new pair...not only that, but silk.
Despite where she was, Subaru paid careful heed to what she was given and respected it - she would care for it while she bore it and after a few moments of dressing in the under robe, she slipped her arms through the sleeves of the kimono and allowed Keiko to proceed with weaving the large belt of cloth around her waist until it formed into a large 'butterfly' like bow.
...As a single woman and a maiden, Subaru was allowed to be extravagant both in bow style and in colours.
"Anything else?" Keiko enquired, folding her arms across her chest as she observed the warrior who was now brushing at her hair with the ivory comb.
"Yes, help me brush and straighten it," Subaru replied, seating herself upon the stool as Keiko approached once more and lifted the brush.
"Very well."
