A bit worse for wear but all together fine, Hikari rushes over to Aichou and Ran. She looks down over ran and waves bye-bye. She makes sure to call out to Megumi. "Tell Se-bu-chan to play with me when she wakes up!" She is absolutely beaming... She enjoyed that too much. Then she rushes over to Aichou...and climbs her back. "Nyann!" She has the cheeriest smile on her face. She points at Aichou's zanpakutou and has one thing to exclaim. "Teach me!" With the way she says it and the expression on her face, it's hard to say she's being rude. She's just extremely, extremely excited!

Aichou turns around and looks at the little thing on her back, and she can't help but smile. Then with a chuckle, she gently dislodges her from her back, and sets her down, looking her over. She takes a moment of thought, and closes her eyes..feeling something out..then she opens her eyes again, and when she looks down at Hikari, it's the oddest thing. Her eyes are blue. Normally, Aichou's eyes are this dark red color, but right now, they're the brightest blue they've ever been in her life.
"You know kid, you're just like me when I was little. You're in for a lot of trials and a lot of suffering, and to be honest, I couldn't be happier. When you've got more power..when you've gained enough strength to face me..then find me again. I'll make a promise to show you what I can. Maybe by then you'll be ready. To make it a real promise, I'll give you this. Be sure to give it back to me on the day we find each other again, my little shadowed light."
And Aichou reaches up to her head..and takes off her hat. The hat she's never without..that no one who knows her has ever seen her remove and not put back on a few seconds later..and she sets that hat right down on Hikari's head, and leans over to kiss her forehead.
"You'll be something else, kid. After I'm done showing you all I can when you come back, I want you to surpass me someday after that, alright? Come kill me when you're strong enough. If you can do that, I'll be happy. Until then..remember me this way."
And she throws her guitar over her back..and walks to the door..she doesn't shunpou..she just walks..until she's out of sight.

Miyoko watches this entire exchange with Hikari quietly, and when Aichou places her hat on the younger girl's head, she murmurs quietly.
"Aichou," the word barely heard above the fighting of the students. In all the years she'd known her companion, she'd never seen her do that. There was a faint smile, one of mixed feelings, and brief understanding.
And then, she turns back to watch her class as if nothing had happened. That was just the way Miyoko was.

Haruko shook her head. Why was the chibi so happy after a loss? maybe she was insane. Oh well, that wasn't really Haruko's problem... yet... She leaned against a nearby wall to and waited for the teacher's instructions. All of a sudden she heard a voice.
You did well today, young one.
She blinked her eyes in shock, and suddenly she was in a forest. In front of her on a tree branch was a massive hawk.
Hawk-chan! It's been a while since we've talked!
Well we haven't had much need to. In fact, I just wanted to give you a little gift, and it can't take long. You are in the middle of class, after all...
Aw, but hawk-chan, I wanted to talk...
There's no time for that! Hmph. Well anyways, walk under the tree I'm in. On the other side of the bushes is your present. The hawk said before flying off.
Thank you, hawk-chan! Haruko shouted to the bird as it flew off. She looked around for a moment before she stepped though the tall bushes. Hawk-chan's home really was beautiful. She stepped through the bushes and was in a large clearing, over 30 feet from one end to another. She took a few steps than noticed a large stone in the middle. She ran up to it, excitedly.
This must be hawk-chan's gift! She said, when she noticed the curving sword on the stone. She picked it up and swung it a few times.
Huh? No sheath... Hawk-chan's sword must not have one... she said, looking around. I know! she squeaked, then slid it into the back of her sash.
Suddenly, she was back in the classroom. The chibi was still on the teacher's back, so she mustn't have been gone for more than a few moments.
Haruko stepped away from the wall and felt at the back of her sash. Only the hilf of hawk-chan's sword was there, and a little bit of the blade. however, as she pulled it out, it materialized, as if from air. Her eyes lit up in amazement, and she said softly, "Thank you, hawk-chan..."

Hikari stares in amazement at those deep, blue eyes. She almost blinks as Aichou begins speaking. There's a glimpse of understanding. She kind of feels she's not strong enough yet to learn what that was, but there's a strange knowledge that she's got to be close. Not to Aichou's level yet, but to her own breakthrough. Then she feels the light kiss before red hat covers her vision. Hikari quickly pushes the hat up, if only to see Aichou. To carefully listen to her. What can she say to those words before and now? Though she's clever for a kid, she's still just a kid. She just watches, and blinks. Her small fists tightly clench to the brim of the hat.
She can only watch as Aichou leaves the classroom. "Ai-chan..." Her lips curve into a smile. It's a gentle smile she hasn't shown anybody in the class yet. It's probably the most sane expression she's shown. She wants to be strong. She wants the strength for something more than killing hollow now; though, that remains her prime goal. For somebody strong. To find strong sparing partners. Those partners would be good friends. She nods; though, there's nobody left to nod to. She quickly runs over to grab her zanpakutou and hugs 'her' tight to her chest. "We'll show Ai-chan someday! We'll be really strong." She looks elated. Then she begins to walk towards Miyoko. That hat of Aichou's really is too big for the girl...

Miyoko watched as the young girl approached. She really was very similar to her childhood friend, as much as Miyoko hated to admit it. She gave an almost fond smile to Hikari.
"Yo'," voice soft, as she continued to observe both the other students, and Hikari herself. "You did good today. You got back up, even after being knocked around by Aichou. Next session, we'll get you someone to spar with who is a little closer to your level, so you can get some real fighting experience."

As elated as Haruko was at hawk-chan's gift, she couldn't use it just yet. She walked over to the wall and set it gently there, silently thanking hawk-chan again. Then she turned around and headed towards the teacher. The odd one had left, leaving just the quiet teacher, chibi-san, the male students who were still fighting, and Haruko.

Hikari tilts her head, and the hat nearly threatens her vision by falling down slightly. As she pushes it back up while trying to maintain the seeming hug on her zanpakutou, she looks at Miyoko. "Next session?" She seems to think the class is, or was going to be, longer. Then a smile spreads across her face. "Ai-chan's great! So was Se-bu-chan." She has this really wide, sweet smile as she tilts her head. She seems to be able to pull off the cute child look on a whim. "She got a little jealous just watching, though." Did she refer to her blade? Her grin widens. "It was fun though!" Then she looks over her shoulders. "Hmm? Hentia-san and Kobuki-san are still fighting? They must be having fun!"

Miyoko nodded briefly.
"Every class I have is two sessions, at least," she glanced just past Hikari, toward Haruko. "You did excellent as well. I was encouraged by some of the techniques you used. A finer point though, aiming for the legs, while strategically sound, is used too often by most fighters. You'll have to learn to adjust your aim mid-swing. It works best as a feint, instead of an actual attack. Besides that, you had a very good fight. You may relax on the mats until the boys are done."
She smiled down at Hikari. "You as well, kiddo. Have a seat," this teacher was the complete opposite of Aichou, who was bubbly and full of energy. There was an almost catlike laziness about her, and rarely was she seen getting all excited. Only around Aichou, who seemed to bring out her silly side.

Haruko nodded and turned around quickly, hoping the teacher wouldn't see the slight bit of red on her cheeks. Haruko wasn't used to getting compliments, even from her parents... while they were alive... she hurried over and retrieved hawk-chan's sword, and put it in her sash. When she did, most of the blade disappeared again. She was just about to ask hawk-chan where he went when all of a sudden she noticed that a bracelet had appeared on each of her wrists. Hawk-chan was very kind, and clever too. It would have been much harder for her to move around with that big sword, and while these bracelets were rather heavy, Haruko didn't really mind. She sat down and watched the two other students fight.

After being battered by Aichou and there still being a fight going on, was it even possible for Hikari to be seated and calm down? Instead, she zooms right over to Miyoko and stands next to her with a childish grin on her face. It might even seem her eyes are closed, but she's watching what's going on between Shunketsu and Long with high interest. Still. She says something quietly to herself that seems spoken in a tone completely opposite the emotion plastered on her face. "'little shadowed light'?" She giggles before raising her voice for Haruko to hear. "Did you have fun with Onnarashii-san, Poku-chan?" Also to note, she's still having to readjust that big, red hat from time to time. Else...it'll slip right down her head and cover her vision.

Haruko's ears turned slightly red. She hated to admit it, but she enjoyed fighting. She had no idea why... in Rukongai she had been mostly peacefull and quiet... until the incident...
She decided to humor the chibi by telling her the truth. It's not like she would be able to hide it for long if she did lie, anyways.
"It was fun enough, but it looked like you were more entertained, chibi-san!" she said with a grin. She had meant it as both a compliment and an insult. Haruko kind of envied her, she wishes she could have seen the major fight that had taken place. But, unlike chibi-san, she could actually withstand more than one attack. Probably not that attack, though...

AZNchaos15 ((o forgot...well, I kinda figured that out half way through our posts, kudos to us for being so darn quick blaugh ))
Long gave note to his fair move since his stick came with a very bad use of swinging it horizontally. He didn't however see Shun's attack come from the air and had very little time to react. His body slightly tensed up and he placed his weapon forward in a horizantal fashion to block it.
Ddg:+19 = 21

Long managed to block with his stick with both hands while he pushed Shun back lightly to send him back lightly while charging in with a jab using the blunt end of his stick.
Attk: +7= 14 ((For sure miss)) ((omg, my internet is really really bad, so if I can't post for a day or two, forgive me, I'm trying to post now while I still can before I get disconnected...again...)) Dodge: 10+17 = 27 "nice try, but not good enough..." Shunketsu, while in midair, formed a downward X with his two bokken and caught the tip of Long's pole and forced it underneath him. Shunketsu then basically slid down the pole. When near enough, Shunketsu stepped on the pole and then dove at Long, doing something similar to a beheading move, swinging each bokken in an outward direction, creating a scissor effect-like thing... R.Hand: 3+6 = 9 L.Hand: 5+6 = 11 ((OMG! scream scream I feel like I inherited Komm's luck with dice...inside joke, dun ask...))

Long had seen that his rod could be used against him. Taking the procedure now to instead turn his back and swing the staff in defense while still attempting to dodge the scissors strike with a small ducking spin.

"You'll have to do better than that..." Long smirked as he stood up straight from his crouching spin.
Long had now appeared behind Shun with a two-handed strike aimed at at a spot between the left shoulder and Shun's neck, almost like it were using a kendo strike with the stick.

Shunketsu barely was able to detect the attack. He took the hit on his shoulder, but rolled to the side to regain footing after the damage. His shoulder was now hurting somewhat, but he retained function of it. Shunketsu, starting to feel weary from all his fancy footwork, continued to perform some more. With a high backflip, Shunketsu was once again above Long, but this time facing his backside. Again was the attempt to land two attacks on Long's shoulders...
