The girls go upstairs. Angel starts to work on making more hats and Sasori starts to look through the pile of books she got from the library.
"Hey, I found a book on ancient runes. Maybe we can decipher what is on the locket and the hairpin!"
Sasori takes the locket out and starts studying the book. The books is quite thick and full of pages of different runes. "This could take some time finding the matching runes to the symbols on this locket."

"Mutter means mother in German. You got one word!" The girls get tired and go to sleep.
The next day they go to the second rounds of the pre-trials. Angel meets Natilie and Sasori in the spectator bleachers after her morning sales at the market.
"Did I miss anything?"

"Hi, well it just started. Tarik and Monica have not had their turn yet." Sasori senses that someone is watching them. After the incident last night in the restroom, she does not want to alarm Natilie or Angel so she does not mention it. She scans the spectators around her.
"I want to get some water. I will be right back." Sasori goes to the concession area to get a drink. She gets a bottle of water then starts walking back to the stands.

Angel watches as the contestants each take their turns in groups of five. Tarik, Vlad and Monica are up next.
As Angel watches, she glances over to Sasori in the concession line. She leaves the line then some guards dressed in black surround her and take her away. Angel gasps, "oh no!"

Tarik waits for his turn at the pre-trials. He and Monica talk as they wait for their turn. Finally it is time and they take their shots. Both have scores high enough to make the tournament. Vlad is next to them and he makes near perfect shots. Vlad turns and watches something happening on the top of the hill and smiles then packs his gear and leaves in a hurry.
Tarik is busy packing his bag. He only sees the smirk on Vlad's face as he leaves. As he gets up, Tarik only sees some guards taking someone away but he does not see that it is Sasori.

As Sasori starts to walk back to the stands, she is suddenly surrounded by guards. "Come with us," one of them says.
She struggles but they overpower her. They take her into the castle.

"Come on lets get Tarik and Monica and somehow get into the castle."
I am getting sick and tired of my friends constantly being kidnapped. When I find the person responsible I will make them pay.
Natilie rushes to the castle gate sasori was taken through but guards stop her.
"You're not allowed through here." One guard said
"It's a restricted zone." the other one adds.
Natilie walks away and finds Angel and Tarik.
"There has got to be another way into the castle. Do you guys have any ideas?"

Sasori is brought to a small side library and is locked inside. The Colonel enters the room and sits at a large desk. He motions for Sasori to sit across the desk in a guest chair. Sasori is livid.
"First you kidnap Angel twice and now me. How dare you!" The Colonel just sits there. When she finishes he asks, "what do you know of this Angel?" Sasori answers, "she's a peasant girl that works hard to make a living and does not deserve to be treated so poorly." The Colonel says, "No, what of her past?" Sasori says, "she's an orphan. Her parents died. Leave her alone!"
The Colonel nods and says, "you may leave." Sasori looks at him questioning. "What is your interest in Angel?" He says, "I am looking for someone." He gets up and calls for the guards to escort Sasori out. Sasori says, "wait, why are . . . ." It is too late, the Colonel leaves the room. Sasori is left alone, locked in the room for a few minutes. She looks around at the books. She spies an interesting book and pockets it.

Tarik meets the girls and is concerned about Sasori's plight. "I saw a commotion but didn't know it was Sasori. Vlad had a funny smirk on his face just as it happened. I wonder if he had anything to do with it? If he hurt her, I will get him!"

"I could get us in." Monica says to Tarik and Natalie. "I'll turn fox, and run past the guards." She walks over to on side of the castle, ans spots a low window. "When I'm inside I'll open is window for you guys to crawl through." She says, walking up to it. peering inside she sees that is a small hallway window and provides lots of shelter for them to hide in when they're inside.
"The only problem is finding the rooms where the guards are keeping them, and we won't have much time, then, to get four people back down and through this window..."
She quietly goes over the flaws in her plan. "Well, what do you guys think?

"I think it would work but we would have to be very careful. As for finding Sasori I could find her smell and follow it to the correct room."

"You can turn into a fox? Then the fox and wolf that I thought were pets were you 2? Wow . . . cool trick! I will create a distraction at the front gate so you girls can sneak in and find Sasori. Be careful!"
Tarik goes to the front gate and demands to enter the castle. "I am Prince Tarik and I demand to see Vlad! I have a challenge for him! Where is he! I demand to see him now! . . ."
