"Oh yeah..." Touya answered sarcastically with a stare, "They're alright until they start saying, 'Oh! And when are you getting married?'"
Touya joked and repeated a few different things he had heard those aggravating newly weds saying to him on more than one occasion. "...And they're alright until they start giving each other cute pet names, like muffin and honey cakes and stuff like that...Ant they're always holding hands and making love-sick eyes at each other..."
"Annoying newly weds..." Touya pouted. He be damned if he ever called Yuki muffin. Still, Yuki had a point. Most of those couples were happy and in love. There was nothing wrong with that.

Kamui sat back in his seat for a while letting the sting of Kaiku’s smack and her sharp words sink in. He had screwed up bad and he knew it, and he knew he would have to kiss a** to get Kaiku to forgive him at this moment. “How do I always screw everything up?” he asked as he stood and walked over to the bar to drink instead of staying in his seat.

“That a*****e.” Kaiku said as she sat in her chair in her office and began to tap her foot constantly. It began to slow down until she heaved a sigh. “I can’t blame him too much, he didn’t know anything about Kurogane-san and Fye-san…but I still want to kill him.” She said standing up and putting her hand to the glass of her large window over viewing the ocean. “I hope things still work out for Fye-san.”

Yukito laughed at Touya's impersonation. "Well, I guess that gets annoying after a while." Yukito responded, "But, if we do end up doing a wedding, you're just going to have to pretend that you like these newly weds, and that there's nowhere you'd rather be than at their wedding. Right?"

Touya sighed in defeat, uttering a small, "I'll try..."
He would have to remember to talk to Tomoyo to see if there would be any weddings coming up soon. He couldn't see Tomoyo working with any couples that were too annoying. To Touya she had more of the air of a matchmaker than a wedding planner. Not that he would know anything about a person he just met. "Oh...yeah. A few people said they wanted to meet you today. There was Tomoyo and this crazy flower girl. I think her name was Ashley...oh, no. It was Shawna."

"Good." Yukito said with a laugh, knowing that he had won this time. Yukito then began to think about this Tomoyo when his thoughts were interrupted by Touya mentioning the 'crazy flower girl.'
"Ashley and Shawna are two very different names, I don't know how you could get them confused." Yukito said with a chuckle before continuing, "It's not nice to call people crazy without a reason either." Yukito said. I wonder if Touya got those flowers from this girl.

"Well, she looked like an Ashley..." Touya shrugged. He happened to like that name, but he did think it was just a little crazy for him to get her name that wrong in the first place. "...and you didn't meet her. She was pretty weird and clumsy...but she had a nice shop. I went by there before going to work..."
His mouth hung open slightly at his final words. 'The flowers!' Touya looked not-so-discretely to the kitchen counter. He had yet to explain where the flowers had come from. He hoped if he just set them down there, Yuki would find them and naturally figure out how much Touya was worried about him and wished for him to get better. Since Yuktio was all better by the time he got back, that made the gift somewhat obsolete.

"You seem to have met a lot of interesting people today." Yukito said, creating a mental image of Shawna. "Oh, is that where you got those flowers from?" Yukito asked curiously, "Shawna-san arranged them beautifully." Yukito paused and then looked at Touya, "Thank you." He said with a smile.

"You're welcome..." Touya answered quietly while still looking away from Yukito. 'His smile is blinding! Ahhh! I can feel it even when I'm not looking! So cute! Must. Control. Self...' He cleared his throat and pretended to look perfectly cool even around the heavenly Yukito.

Yukito couldn't help but laugh a little at Touya's 'marvelous' display of restraint. He's adorable sometimes. Yukito thought to himself before changing the subject, knowing that Touya would pretend to be calm, cool and collected until it changed.
"So, this Shawna-san came into the bakery with Tomoyo-san?"

"Arashi-san?" Yukito asked, trying to see if he remembered such a name.
"There are more people in this town than I thought." Yukito said with a bit of a laugh, "What was Arashi-san like?" Yukito asked.

Drop dead gorgeous. Touya changed his position on the couch, lifting his feet to rest on the coffee table. He shrugged indifferently. "I dunno. Quiet. She didn't talk much."

Yukito eyed Touya's feet on the table for a minute, but didn't say anything. He had just taken a shower, so, his feet were clean.
"Ah. I see. It seems like you've definitely had an interesting day, Touya." Yukito said.

"Yup!" Touya grinned. He was starting to get a little less tired now that he was home and in comfortable clothes. Yuki's presence also made him more energetic. He was about to say something else when his stomach growled. "Ahh!"
He blinked. Apparently he was hungry. 'When was the last time I ate? Hmm...Yesterday? That's not good.' He was all over Yukito this morning because he was ill, so he didn't take time to eat breakfast. Then, the shop was crowded with costumers and the heavy perfume in the shop killed his appetite for lunch. He looked over to Yukito sheepishly. "You don't have any of your soup left do you?"

The ninja was slightly disturbed by how into this Fye seemed to be getting (and the maner in which he seemed to be getting into it, as well), but he tried not to show it. As he looked into Fye's sad, blue eye Kurogane could see through the mage's ruse. He understood that all this playfullness was a cover up for the fact that Fye was deeply troubled by his new state of being.
"As you wish" he sighed, putting his hands behind his head and heading for the balcony.
