She blushed violently.
"Right back at ya. Oh! I forgot about the mission! Let's be on our way. Hurry!"
She grabbed Kakashi's hand and pulled him all the way until they reached Tsunade's office.
"Now remember, you promised I cold come along. Just you and me." She winked then giggled at his expression.
"See you later. Stop by after you get the results!" She said, beginning to walk home and waving to him.

He loosly wrapped his arms around her.
The way he felt right now could not be described. He knew that no matter were they went, he would be happier then he'd ever been.

She has no idea what she does to me...
He quickly snapped out of his daydreaming. He had a mission to accomplish. Raising he shoulders, he turned around and walked into Tsunade's office.

He had done it. Sakura and himself would soon be leaving together to undertake a dangerous mission.
Hopefully not too dangerous.
Boy was she gonna be happy to hear this!

Okay... she was ready.
"I don't know where... so I say we just got... where ever the path leads."
She smiled and slowly rose to her feet with somoe help from Naruto.
"We're Ninjas... I'm sure Tsunade will allow us... right?"

Ino chuckled.
"Your right... I'm sure you did."
Ino shifted in her seat and quickly glanced out the window behind Sasuke. She looked back to Sasuke and saw that he saw her attention went to the window. She smiled, tring to hide the sudden nerves she felt.
Where is Shika?
"So... what are you gonna now?"

Sakura sat antsily on her couch waiting for the doorbell to ring with the news. Her fingers twiddled with the scarf she was knitting, making it hard to concentrate.
I hope he didn't chicken out...I've been waiting so long to go on a mission, just him and I. Oh! I hope it's somewhere romantic! Like...like...a beach with palm trees! And we could both lay together in a hammock and just stare into eachother's eyes for hours and hours an-...
There was a knock on the door.

Sasuke sensed her sudden tenseness but payed no mind to it. Instead, he reclined in his seat and put his hands behind his head.
"i don't know, I suppose I'll take a bit of time off. It's been a while."

I hope she hasn't changed her mind about this.
He knew Sakura wanted to do a mission with him, but what he also knew was that most missions weren't all that pretty. They would most likely encounter many hardships that would either bring them closer or tear them appart.
What if I lose her... I couldn't handle it.
Dark thoughts took over his mind as her heard familiar foot steps coming closer towards the door he was standing infront.

She opened up the door and pretended to look surprised.
It didn't work.
"So...umm...oh come in! Here, sit on the couch," she said pointing to her old red couch, knitting equipment still on one of the seats. She picked up the scarf and needles and sat down next to him, wringing her hands.
"Sooo? What's the verdict?"

He waited for her reaction.

She squealed and bounced up and down, suddenly feeling conscious of the short-shorts she was wearing. Pulling them down, she said, "Well when and where is it? The beach, maybe? Or the hot springs?"

He chuckled the bit. The girl was so predictable.
"Well Sakura, Tsunade doesn't exactly give a ninja of my rank mission on a beach, no offence. That sounds more like a vacation, which we can gladly do if we both make it out of this mission alive."
He saw her disapointed look and wished he could have offered her better.
