"You're pethetic," he said, watching her as she blew a kiss at him. "I don't see why I bother playing with you, but you seem to value life more then you value play time." He stepped behind the girl and brought a sword out of nowhere and held it against her neck. "Let us see if you gamble with the lives of others as well as you gamble with your own. If you dare to take a step forward, toward these bars, her life will be forfit." He smiled down at Lilith. "It seems you did come in handy, though, I am not quite sure what I should do with you if she complies with me."

Lee paced the room, watching both Cat and Kadea, with fire rebounding in his eyes. He listened intently to Cat's words on trust, for some reason, it seemed he had that in plrenty of his men. The men within the gang would die for him, if not to keep some other person out of power. Slowly, he made to sit back down again. He rested his hands on the table, intertwining his fingers. For a few moments, he sat in deep thought, but not removing his eyes from Cat. They peered through his sunglasses, and just watched her. Finally, he turned intrestedly to Kadea. "She did forget to inform me of such things." Again, he sat in deeop thought, now eye Kadea with a more, pleasing gaze.

Again, he stood to his feet and began pacing the room. "I shall just need enough to understand these men of yours. It seems I have trust in some of my men as well, as most hold it with me. You see, there has been an unease within my people for quite some time, most of it, I fear, revolving around me. It seems plenty of my clan members think I am getting to old to do my job." He walked in front of a mirror to gaze into it. He had no reflection, but looked upon the mirror as if he did. "The majority though, would kill any, and themselves to see myself continuing to reign as I do, as I would kill for them if something were to happen to them." He sighed and stepped back in front of Cat and Kadea, his eyes now peircing through his sunglasses.

"You noticed, Cat, that it took great amounts of energy for me to use that magic." He washed his hand through the air, acting as though nothing had really happened. "The only reason I can explain for this, is that it was coming daytime. Normally, magic is simple to me. And that spell was nothing special." He walked behind Kadea, placing hovering his hands over her head, as if reading something. "If this treaty would commence, I can show you, and have my clan members show your's how to use this magic." He looked down at Kadea and pulled away quickly. He shifted his head form left to right, "All I need is, trust." He concluded the sentance with this now found feeling he had. It was a longing to help them. "We can oppose any enemy." He stated finally, running over Cat's words in his mind. "With trust of each other, no doubt." Finally he concluded and sat back down in front of the two. He shifted his eyes a moment, and for the first time, pulled the sunglasses off of his face and away form his eyes. They were stunningly red, and flashed in what little light the room now gave off. Around them, candles lit aflame as he looked at them, revealing shadows across his face.

She cocked her head slightly, "Do your men really know how to use magic, like the mages and doctors of my time?" Her tone was more curious and interested then cautious or gaurded. The only sigh that she had even been nerved by his hands over her head, vanishing as quickly as it came. "You see I come from a time when magic was a rare and dangerous gift to have. Many men and women were killed for supposidly being weilders of this magic. Doctors were employed by the emporer to keep him heathy, if he ever got sick then they were killed." She smiled slightly and leaning over wispered to Cat, "Do you think it would be wise, if at this point I were to tell him of my orgin, not my profession, but were I come from and when, perhaps then we can establish a little trust." She wispered barlyeven moving her lips.

Kadea serched Cats eyes for several long moments turning slowly and looking into Lee's. Long silent minutes passed, and still she gazed at him serching his face and eyes. Finally after what seemed like ages, she let out a slow sigh and nodded slightly, maintaining eye contact with Lee. "For the moment...He could have killed you and yet he did not, for that at least he has my gratitude....However let us hope for his own sake he does not betray that trust." She said still watching Lee.

Kadea breathed a small sigh of reliefe which disappeared just as soon as it had come. Replaced with stotic, blank features.

Lee just satred, no emotions running over his face as he watched Cat and Kadea. When Cat finally stated the trust, between them and him, his mind faltered. Had he trust in them... he wasn't so sure. Finally, with realizing what was going on, he stood once more and walked to the window. Tracing his hands along its sill, he just thought to himself, and then turned back, "You are right, of course, Cat. I do not trust you yet, well, I don't trust Kadea. You, well that is a different story. It seems you were fully aware of the fact that I could have killed you and yet I didn't. That took quite a large effort on my part." Again he faltered, still thinking for a moment, "I cannot say I trust you fully, but I do trust you more then I trust Kadea. But I do trust the fact for you to know..." His wrods trailed off, and he moved to sit back down.

He stared into Kadea's eyes. Just barely moving his own to look over her body, and then, return them to her face. "I do not know of men and doctors from your time. But I can assure you..." As he spoke, his hands lit with a bright red fire, that soon crystalized as he moved it over his hands, "that magic is very simple among my clan, my people. You will be able to learn it, through concentration, power, and skill." He continued to move it over his hands as he watched Kadea. Slowly, a smile spread over his face, bearing his long, sharp, and glistening fangs.


The man smirked wildly as he back into the shadows, almost drawing the blade across the girl's neck. It was as though he disappeared. When the shadows had completely engulfed him and the girl he was holding, laughter spilled through the room. "You are so willing to throw a single life away to have fun... what would you say if that life was your own?" With barely any effort, he threw out one of his hands, revealing himself to be high on the ceiling, a small amouint of blood trickling down from the woman's neck. He just held her, his sword back in its sheith, with a small slit across her neck.


Lee spun immediately around. Something was going on, something he ddin't authroize. He faltered, and then, quicklly stood from his place, moving to the door. He opened it, and a strong sense of magic wafted into the room. He glowered and turned back. "It seems, if you will follor me, you can see exactly what happens when one of my own disobeys me." He held out his hand and waited.

kit screamed as she thew water forward clutching onto the man on the ceiling. the girl fell to the ground as kit started to dance and contain the water. her aqua clenched the man tightly. "you can't get away now and i saved her anyway " she focoused on the girl as she danced "are you ok?"

Lilith stared down at the girl. The red covering her fingers looked like the liquid that the high ranking ones on her planet had free acces to.

"I think not. But I do not know." She flinched at the slight sensation that the slit from which the red liquid was now begining to spill a bit faster. "What is this?" She muttered, holding her hand infront of her face, nevermind the sensation of the mans grip about her waist still muddled her mind.
