Cory came down smashing the ground sending her flying as he appeared in the air above her and smashed her in the stomach sending her hard to the ground.

"Why are the attacks getting frequent..?" Palleas thought as her stomach got slammed and she coughed out more blood.
She went flying back and hit the ground hard.
"Why do I always bleed...?"

Cory landed on the ground as the demon slowly faded. "I thought you were better than this."

Palleas barely heard Cory. Her thoughts buzzed in her head.
"Why are the attacks becoming frequent...?Why is the Sukaku affecting me again...?" she thought."This was the same reason I left him...why is it coming back...?"

Lance stopped walking and lent back against a tree when he heard two people exchange a challenge. "This could be interesting... Let's see what they've got..." He mumbled to himself as he watched the following battle. - - - - - "That kid's violent.." Lance thought as he impassively watched Cory attack Palleas. "Should I step in?" He wondered, standing away from the tree and taking a couple of steps forward, out from under the trees and into the light when he noticed the girl coughing up blood as she was sent down to the ground.

Palleas snapped out of it and wiped away the blood on her face.
This was supposed to be a mere duel, but if she doesnt do anything soon, Cory will be taken over by the shukaku again.
"SABAKU ROU!" she summoned with all her might and the sands rose up and clasped Cory like the Shukaku's hand itself.

The sand crashed down making a loud bang, as Cory slowly rose out of the sand pile, with the grin still on his face and jumped out and landed a few feet away from her. "The wife of the mighty 5th kazekage. You seem to have gotten soft over the years."

Lance watched Cory continue like Palleas's attack had been nothing.
"That guy's practically indistructible.. I wonder how long he'll keep going for? Doesn't look like she'll last more than a few minutes at most though..." He mumbled to himself, glancing at Palleas.

He slowly walked over to her and stepped on her chest as he leaned over at her as his demon slowly faded further away till it was gone. "Sorry, but I dont mess around when it comes to fighting, Mother."

Lance felt his feet shift involentarily as Cory placed a foot on Palleas's chest and lent over her...
Lance was about to head over himself when he caught Cory's voice on the wind.
"Did he say 'mother'?" Lance thought, stopping himself after taking a few steps, his eyebrows narrowing as he watched Cory remain hovering over Palleas.

Cory vanished as he was still looking at his mother and appeared a few feet behind Lance who was watching. "Who the hell are you."

"Nobody in particular.." He replied without turning around at first then when he did look at Cory he examined him with a long stare.
"Don't you think you got a little too rough?" Lance asked, meaning the fight with Palleas.

Cory looked up at the man. "There is not too rough, or mercy to show in this world. As soon as you do, you will be killed."
