"Thank you...Yukihiro-san..." Malfrost kept close to Ayaka, his arm still safely attached to her's, he really didn't want to get lost here in the city. As they walked into the store, Malfrost turned to face Ayaka and he gave her a small smile, "I just moved in about a week ago....it's sudden I know...but my family wished it..." He then blushed as he realized his arm was still around Ayaka's," Ummmm...are you alright with this...Yukihiro-san?"

Bringing her items to the register, Ayaka paid for them, grabbing a business magazine to add to her pile of assorted sweets, a pack of tea leaves, and buns wrapped tightly in plastic wrap.
Going back outside into the street, Ayaka moved quickly, used to the busy atmosphere in the district, knowing where to go for her next errand. "Hm? Yes, of course." She smiled, and hooked her bag through her wrist, and gently moved Malfrost's grip, so that his arm was linked in hers, instead of gripping her arm. "That's better. Just how a gentleman should do it."
Walking deeper into the city, they seemed to have arrived at a large food area, where various vendors were selling fresh produce, herbs, and fresh, piping hot street food. "Your family? It wasn't your choice to attend Mahora?" She questioned, examining a drink vendor. Greeting him with a smile, Ayaka scanned the list, eventually ordering two drinks.

Malfrost's blushed deepened...but he enjoy the contact with Ayaka, he moved his hand to where it was lightly on top of hers, hoping that she would be alright with this too, he didn't know why...but he felt very at ease when he was with Ayaka," No, I had been home-schooled up to now, but my family wanted me to have a more social experience so that sent me here, I've really enjoyed my stay so far." He gave Ayaka a meek smile and then blushed again,"Would...would it be alright if I called you...Ayaka...."

It was...getting a little odd for Ayaka. Normally, her classmates called her 'Class Rep', 'Yukihiro'. No one usually just addressed her as 'Ayaka'. Only people she knew for a while, like Regan did. Not a person she met minutes ago.
Her drinks were ordered, two light smoothies with tapioca bubbles in the bottom. Acting fast, Ayaka grabbed a smoothie, mango flavored, and quickly shoved it in Malfrost's hand, making him grab it, and not place it on top of hers. Turning her back on Malfrost, Ayaka paid the vendor quickly, taking her own smoothie up with two hands, leaving no hand for Malfrost to grasp.
"Well...I'd be more comfortable with 'Yukihiro' or 'Class Rep' instead." She replied smoothly, turning away quickly. The atmosphere was a little awkward now. 'He is a foreigner...maybe he doesn't understand Japanese customs? Negi-sensei doesn't even call me 'Ayaka'...'

Raine waited through the long amount of time it took for teh stylist to cut her hair the way she wished to cut it. When she showed Raine the result, Raine nodded with approval. It looked good. Now for the last step. She had Raine get up and move over to another seat as she prepared Raine's hair and some other things for hair dye. Dark purple. It didn't look too obvious, and it really wouldn't look too bad with the haircut.

"Ah..ah..I'm sorry" Malfrost bowed deeply, "I'm still adjusting to the customs here...if it was rude of me to ask such a thing then please reprimand me..." Malfrost kept his head bowed, knowing he had screwed up just not knowing how seriously, 'Please don't hate me now...' He had had a bad streak of people abandoning him in the past...he didn't want to add another to the list.

Ayaka turned to face Malfrost when he began to speak, and to her embarrassment, he was bowing deeply. Glancing around, Ayaka sighed heavily. Some onlookers had stopped to peer at the two, a few students paused, looking at Malfrost, and whispering to each other, ending in a less-than-subtle point to Ayaka and a soft giggle. Even the drink vendor peered over his cart to look at the scene.
'...We have to get out of this.' Ayaka thought, as she grabbed Malfrost firmly by the shoulder, and dragged him along, about a good ten yards away from the vendor and the others. 'I'm suddenly regretting leaving Raine-san right now...what am I thinking? Raine-san better than Xeon-san...? Then again...' She looked at the boy whose shoulder she was grasping. '...I'd take bickering any day.'
Pausing, Ayaka set her grocery bag down, and sipped her drink, with one hand on her hip. There was a long pause, as she tried to find what to say. "Xeon-san, I'm not going to reprimand you. I'm your classmate, not your teacher." She finally said. "In Japan, it's not until you reach a certain level of intimacy that you call someone by their first name. Even then, it's rare that you call someone by only their first name." Ayaka shot him a gentle smile. "And it's not often that someone bows to another that deeply. I could get used to that though." She chuckled, and fished out a list from her purse. "Are we clear on that, Xeon-san?"

Malfrost was embarrassed at his still novice understanding of Japanese customs, "I see...I'm sorry for my ineptitude in your customs Yukihiro-san...I'll do what I can to make sure such an.... awkward situation doesn't happen again." Malfrost chuckled slightly as he rubbed the back of his head, and then offered Ayaka his arm again,"Are you...still alight with this then at the very least..." Malfrost gave her a meek smile, hoping he had screwed up bad enough to where she wouldn't even accept this gesture now.

Malfrost was trying hard not to embarrass Ayaka from now on, and at the moment, it still felt awkward, especially when Malfrost pointed out that the situation was awkward. But he was trying so hard.
With a reluctant smile, Ayaka took up his arm again. 'At least there's no harm in this...if he tries to make a move though, I'll be prepared! No Yukihiro goes out in public without the possibility of uncomfortable situations!' She thought, as she continued her walk with Malfrost. Occasionally, she'd stop at various stores, grabbing fresh produce, chatting with the owners.
Soon, her free hand was filled with numerous plastic bags, filled with produce, various cooled drinks, sweets, numerous tea bag packages, many business magazines, and packages of dried noodles. And she still wasn't done.
Pausing on the side of the street, Ayaka stretched momentarily, placing her bags on the ground. "Isn't shopping wonderful, Xeon-san? I could spend a whole day shopping..." She sighed, content with her load for now. Taking out her list, Ayaka's green eyes scanned the tiny lavender colored paper, and her eyes brightened as she noticed a particular item. Stuffing it back into her purse, Ayaka rubbed her arms. Normally, whenever she went shopping, she never bought so much stuff at once. Back home, ordering online was how the Yukihiro family did it, or their chef would go and shop for them.
But now, this stuff was piling up. And she was tired. 'I could go back now, and maybe drop some stuff back at the dorm, but then I'd have to walk back here. What can I...' A smile crept up the side of her mouth, as she got an idea. Turning to Malfrost, Ayaka resumed her rubbing on her upper arm, looking like she was tired. "I hope you don't mind, Xeon-san. I have a bit more shopping to do, and I'm getting pretty tired. I wonder what I should do..." She tapped her chin with her index finger. "If someone could help me carry these...well! It would be splendid!"

Malfrost smiled as he went shopping with Ayaka, he found himself enjoying it and Ayaka seemed to be enjoying it as well, as he took note of how she stopped to chat with all the owners, 'She's such a likable girl it seems...' He smiled as she addressed him,"It is rather enjoyable when you do it with a friend, nice to get out and see all theses people and not be cramped in a room someone." He smiled, and as Ayaka addressed him, he didn't hesitate to take the load off her hands and put them in his own," I don't mind at all Yukihiro-san, take your time." He gave her a meek smile, letting her know he didn't mind.

Raine saw the stylist was finished, and they both looked at teh results. Raine nodded as she was allowed to finally stand up. They went to pay for teh whole timely ordeal, and Raine easily found the yen to pay for it as she looked around. Maybe if I hurry up I can get out of here before they come back...Sure, Ayaka was gonna bombard her with questions probably, but Raine barely had that kind of patience.

Dragon/Wolf FormAoi looked around as she entered the familiar district from yesterday. She lifted her brown muzzle to the air as she walked by a few surprised people who weren't used to just seeing a brown wolf casually padding down the road. Indeed, it looked like a strange sight. She huffed. She didn't care, as long as none of them thought she was dangerous and decided to bring her down or call animal control or something along those lines.

Malfrost couldn't hear Ayaka's conversations with the owners, but they weren't anything exciting. Most of the time, after her standard 'How are you', she spoke to them about their business, how it was doing, the newest product, etc. The Yukihiro group was a longtime supporter of local businesses, and Ayaka felt it was her duty to make sure they were keeping afloat, while establishing bonds between the smaller shops and the Yukihiro group.
Content with Malfrost taking on her load, Ayaka stretched briefly, before scanning the district. She headed off in a direction, heading into a store briefly. After a few minutes, she came out, her arms full of shopping bags once more. It was evident that she'd pre-ordered many of the items, although a few smaller bags were on top, and it looked like she'd picked them out herself, in the store. Peering inside briefly, Ayaka checked to make sure her order of new clothes was right. "Mmm...I think I'm done. This should be enough for today." She whipped out her phone quickly, as a quiet beep came from the tiny device; she'd gotten a text. Reading it, Ayaka grinned. "Raine-san is done cutting off all that long, unruly hair. I just got a text message from the receptionist. We should head back there." Ayaka suggested. 'Knowing Raine-san, she'd bolt out of there as soon as she could.'

Malfrost was slightly aghast at how much Ayaka had bought, he had only ever went shopping for essentials, so he had never seen so many bags at once,"Do...you need any help with those, Yukihiro-san?" Malfrost offered to carry even more of her load, not really minding what he was carrying now all that much,"Oh, I see then...let's go see how she looks then." Malfrost chuckled slightly as he again gave Ayaka a small smile.

Raine saw the receptionist pick up a phone and frowned. Damn that girl and her connections. With a quiet sigh, Raine stepped out of the building and looked around, her ears still magically hidden from the mundane. She looked to the side and met gazes with...a brown wolf? The wolf stared back, Aoi seeing Raine's ears for a moment before staring back dully. Raine frowned. The hell...she reached over and pat the wolf's head, an odd thing to do with a wild animal in a populated place, but Aoi wagged her tail in response and sat down. When Raine stopped, Aoi stood up again and began sniffing around again near Raine. She couldn't help but actually act like a wolf lost in the city when she wasn't in her human form. The only difference was the amulet hanging around her neck.
