The shifter grinned, then suddenly turned serious. "From now on I've decided that I'm going to be your guardian. I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you... and I will also do your bidding until you decide to rid yourself of me." He bowed deeply before shifting into a mouse and making his way up Akira's clothes and onto his shoulder. "Not that you need one. I just want to protect you."
