Tasusa came back with a towel and handed it to Xaix.
"Sir, when will Xaix learned that technique that'll help him get free from Cronus?"

Xaix took the towel from Tasusa and started to dry himself. "Thanks Tasusa. According to Mr Archaona, I'll be learning the technique as soon as Mr Yamamoto and I are both ready. once that's done, the two will open the portal and I just walk in, meditate for the equivalent of three years, open the two portals and come back..." He looked at Tasusa, giving her a small smile. "Easy."

Xaix thought for a moment. "You've got a point, but if Mr Yamamoto believes I can learn it, then it probably means he knows a way to teach me..." Xaix started to think. "I hope you're right about that Xaix..."

Xaix looked at Tasusa and noticed something he should've remembered a while ago, his facial expression became a bit more worried. "Hey, Tasusa, you've been looking pale, well paler than usual, ever since the argument with Melody...are you ok?"

Melody stopped crying and took 2 small blue diamonds out from her pocket. She wrote a note on a peice of paper from her back and left it with Xiax's name on it. The letter appeared inside the classroom next to them.

~Dear Xiax and Tasusa~

This is one of the pearls that I told Xiax about that can grant a wish. I found it when I was really young but have been saving it for something special. I would have used it to wish my parents back to life and was about to...but I think this is more important. Xiax use this to speed time around you when you enter the portal. Then 3 years will become 3 minutes and when you return wish yourself back to normal time. I'm sorry for all the trouble I have caused to both of you. I am going to the other side of the world to be ready to find Cronus. Goodbye. ~Melody
Melody was already gone on Iris.

"I see..." Xaix placed a hand on her shoulder gently. "Well, I was thinking I'd go back to my dorm and check on Nero, no doubt he felt what happened back at the English class and probably stressed out...but afterwards, did you want to go for a walk around the park or something?" Xaix asked.

He asked because he wanted to try and cheer her up a little, but the main reason was because of what could happen in the portal. Best case scenario would be that he'd be stuck in there for three years...worst case scenario, he didn't come back. In any case, he wanted to spend as much time with Tasusa as possible before entering the other dimension.

Xaix noticed the letter suddenly appear. "Hm? What's this?"

He smiled at Tasusa as he opened the letter. Along with the letter were two small pearls. Xaix's smile faded slightly as he read the letter. "Melody...she's gone to the other side of the world to find Cronus when he reappears..." He looked at Tasusa. "She also says she's sorry for the trouble she caused..." He gave one of the pearls to Tasusa and handed her the letter for her to read, placing the second pearl in his pocket.

"I doubt we'd be able to catch up to her. If I know Melody, she'd be long gone with Iris by now." He scratched the back of his head. "There's really not much we can do about her at the moment..."

Xaix thought about what happened between him, Melody and Cronus. "I'm not sure...you see, when Melody took me to talk to me, She could hear Cronus speaking in the back of my mind. When she spoke to him, it was if she knew him. Also, I didn't feel any hostility coming from Cronus, but I'm not quite sure what it means. We could tell Mr Archaona, but I'm not sure what he could do about it. He still needs to be here to open the portal..."

Xaix was at a loss as to what to do. He looked directly into Tasusa's eyes. "All we can really do now is hope she knows what she's doing and make sure we get to her before Cronus does."

Xaix nodded and kissed her on the cheek. "Ok, I'll see you at the park later then?"
