Tukiko Koneko Mikazuku Emily Marneth Ana bounced happily into the forest, quite sure of herself until she was actually under the trees, in the shadow of nature. Holding hands with a damphir was an encouragement, though. Besides, what could hurt a vampire? And as angry as anything in this forest could get, Ana could top it. They were safe. Or at least Ana hoped... She subconsciously squeezed Rose's hand, hoping for something resembling reassurance. Her bouncing step actually faltered for a moment, but she kept moving forward, more slowly. "I'm just like a human you know," She said, knowing what she was thinking. "But I kill vampires for a living, I'm trained for it," She said, stopping under a tree and sitting down. "I'm sure your quite confused, so let me explain." She said, motioning to the empty spot next to her. Ana plopped down cross-legged like a child at storytime. She looked up at Rose and unassumingly posed a question "But you drink blood, right?" It was almost as if Ana was looking forward to that. She was a very curious girl, and it seemed she wasn't really afraid of anything except something that could kill her instantly. And she was only worried about that because she didn't know if she could heal from that... But if she had a friend who needed blood... She could actually use her power to help someone... She didn't know whether or not it was healthy to think that, but she knew it was what she felt, somehow.

Quite a lot actually, I'm usually very hungry when I eat." She said. "There are a breed of vampires, not your sterio-typical vampires. There are two sides, Moroi and Strigoi. Moroi are alive, and have the power to use Magic. They survive on food and small portions of blood a day. Strigoi, however, are immortal. They kill people for their blood and lose contact with their souls. They are your sterio-typical vampires. They can't use magic. They are the ones we dhampires are trained to kill. Moroi are fragile, and Strigoi love Moroi blood. We are also trained on protecting Moroi. We are called Guardians. It takes our whole lives to train on protecting them. It's always our lives for their's," She said, putting her hand down to her boot, and slipping out a silver stake. "This is our ultimate weapon. A silver stake," She said, looking at it and feeling the smooth feeling of Magic. "There are three ways to kill a Strigoi," She said, "One. Set it on fire," She said, sending pictures of a Strigoi on fire through emotions. "Two. Cut it up," She said, sending pictures of that too. "And three: Stake them. In the heart, with a silver stake," She said, motioning the up-down movement of getting the stake to the heart. "Silver stakes are made of all four elements. They are made by Moroi magic. There is so much to tell, it would take a long time." She said, looking at the sun and knowing it had been an hour and a half since she ran into the tree. Her eyes were burning, with anger and memories. Killing was, is, her life and it will always be there. She longs for action some times, longs for the adrenaline of the fight, the feel of the stake going through the heart. She felt her molnija marks burning on the back of her neck. She put her hand behind her neck and rubbed them, keeping them hidden by her hair.

She blinked a few times very slowly and stood up, giving her friend a long, warm hug as she felt the conflict passing through the girl. Ana accepted. She didn't question it. "Well, that's cooler than being a vampire anyhow."
Ana pressed her cheek to Rose's, her lips accidentally touching Rose's neck the slightest bit, and felt something like a sudden pulling at her lips, from her heart. Rose would have felt it too, like a hot flash of pure energy. Ana jumped back, gasping. "What... Was that?" The last thought that had run through her mind, --and Rose knew this-- was I wish I could help you-- "I- I'm sorry." Ana was nervously scratching the back of her neck and looking back down at the ground. She didn't know what happened, but she thought Rose could be mad about it... "I- I didn't mean to..."

Then the stars are for how many battles you've fought in." She said, putting her hair back down.

She placed a hand on her heart momentarily, feeling the residual pull there, suddenly disappear as her body healed whatever it had been.

Tukiko Koneko Mikazuku "They are kind of like memories," She says, keeping herself calm. "They are permenent reminders of the things I've killed." She said, clenching her fists. Ana reached over to Rose and placed her hands on each of Rose's face, her fingertips lightly touching Rose's skin, pulling the emotions from the girl as silently as a thief in the night. And Ana tested her theory at the same time a purely selfish thought took Ana's mind by storm, drowning out the emotions flooding into her from Rose's psyche and possessing the shy girl, transforming her entirely. Giving her courage. Strength. Not really. Just impulsivity.
Ana pulled Rose to her and placed the sweetest kiss --nay, the only-- kiss she'd ever given another person squarely on the Hunter's lips, and Anastasia felt a channel open between them, her own energy flowing into Rose, filling her with the warm lace that surrounded Rose in Ana's mind, the soft, loving emotion within the Empath flooding into her only friend. Peace... I am here for you... Only you It was pure... It was raw. There was no filter. There could be no filters here... Ana didn't mind the loss of her privacy, because she violated other's privacy all the time... But She didn't know if Rose wanted to be this deep in Ana's psyche. At this moment, though, she didn't care. Her emotion flooded Rose with such an intensity that on top of the shakes that would normally be racking Ana's body, she was trembling even more at the unexpected intimacy and truth in the kiss.

Never... Never let it end
The thought bit through their minds, clear as resonating crystal, pulsing through their connected minds and into their hearts. Neither was sure which of the two the thought had originated from, but it was clearly etched into the kiss now, and Ana felt her lips press obligingly to Rose's once more.

Rose was taken by surprise. Then she felt the energy and it pulled her to Ana. The kiss got hungrier, and it was like she was a monster, she couldn't get enough of the kisses. She'd never felt like this. Hungry and vicious, but so small and soft at the same time. She loved it. She loved Ana. She never wanted the moment to end. Ana felt the emotional feedback, and it pushed her deeper into passion. She felt her fingers push into Rose's hair and pull her tighter to Ana's lips, the Empath shaking in exhilarated pleasure. Outrageous ecstasy.
Never... Never let it end
The thought bit through their minds, clear as resonating crystal, pulsing through their connected minds and into their hearts. Neither was sure which of the two the thought had originated from, but it was clearly etched into the kiss now, and Ana felt her lips press obligingly to Rose's once more.Rose tingled with delight, pushing her body closer to Ana. She wrapped her arms around the girl and hung on because the emotional rollercoaster was going faster than that of normal rides. She was a fire burning bright and she loved Ana more than anything. She was now her Guardian. Nothing would hurt her. Nothing. She was hers forever, locked up safely in her heart from that day on, for forever and everything after that.

The flames were all-consuming. But its licking tongues caressed the two warmly, lovingly. Ana's hands were on Rose's back now, her fingertips pressing ever so firmly on the Hunter's skin.

Ana lay on the forest floor, positively swimming in flames before an icy splash of water rained into her vision of ecstasy. She snapped back rather reluctantly, slow to give in to reality. ROSE! And then she was awake. The panic seeped into her through her bond and she was dressed and ready to go. "What is it?" Ana grabbed for Rose's hand "Rose." The love was still there... It stained the word and seeped into its etymology. "What's the matter?"
