*Botanika is suprised at Fan's outburst.* Why yes I do, the male is called Ithyreal, and the young lady is Ianthe. Both are members of the Warrior Monks Guild of Barton. I was traveling with them, but our group split up after we were attacked by archers hidden in this very forest. More than likely Ithy-kun was just being overly cautious when he attacked you.*She gestures to the greenery, as if asking for areas containing her friends.* I would very much like it if the two of you would take me to their location. *She looks hopefuly at the duo.*

". . . .hmmmm, yeah, we would like to bring you to them, But please ask your friend Ithyreal to keep his blade sheathed." Bao-zhong says to botanika. "We would rather not fight. Next time he might get hurt . . . " sweatdrop 3nodding

((windoniryuu, Ithyreal was rather mean to you because he thinks Ianthe is Atsu's wife, so he's being incredibly over-protective. And Atsu, good point, I edited my post. xd We won't let this die yet. Chen and Fan, he's going to call you two children (He's thousands of years old, so he can do that stuff)))

"As far as I can tell, no." Ithyreal said, shrugging, "I was too busy taking a hit from a wind blast from one of the two children. That one used a fan, but Ianthe pierced it with an arrow. I think that the injury is in her back, but I cannot be sure."

Suddenly, Ithy felt an odd presence around them, a blanket of energy almost. It lifted after a moment and Ithyreal's hand went to his sword

"Atsu..." he said through grit teeth, "We aren't alone anymore..."

With that, about twelve warriors; bald and almost fully nude except for loincloths and leaves draped like cloaks over their bodies, stepped out of the bushes. They carried variations of battle axes and hand axes, each seemed customized to their own linking.

One of them stepped forward, bulkier and larger than the rest. He took a hesitating step towards the three. He pointed to Ianthe and grunted.

"Great..." Ithy said sarcastically, "He either wants to heal her and take her. I don't have any mind-reading techniques, do you?"

Atsu stood up without saying a word and stepped forward, toward the apparent leader of the twelve. He stared at the man hard for a moment, then smiled. Gesturing to himself, he identified himself, "Atsu"

((An RP'd miscommunication between Atsu and Ithy when I introduced Ithy to this RP. We're going to joke off it a bit))

The leader laughed suddenly, a large, hearty laugh that seemed to fill the forest and bend around the trees. He recovered after a minute or two, and held out his hand for Atsu to take.

Ithy felt Botanika's presence suddenly and twitched.

If she and those two kids enter...this could get bad...I wish I could Phase towards them, but doing so would deplete my energy and if these people are going to attack I'd be visciously unprepared...let's just hope they have common sense and don't barge in...or stay away...

Atsu smiled at the big man's reaction and took his hand. It usually payed off to assume the best when you first meet someone. A change in tactics could always come later if necessary. Some might call this naive and idealistic, but it was the way Atsu worked, and it has gained him more friends than enemies. And in unfamiliar territory such as this, a friend who knows the terrain could be most valuble.

As Atsu flew through the air Ianthe recognized that the situation was reeling out of control. Gritting her teeth she strung her bow replying to Ithy, "I don't see that I have much choice in the matter." Still as she released an arrow fighting the pain and their attackers she wondered how long she could hold out. The pain in her back was intensely crippling her ability to fire. Who were these savage men anyway, and why did they want her?
