Nailah looked confused. "Your parents are coming back to make sure you dont' make a mess of this place? And what does Eclipse mean by siblings? I thought your parents hated you..." Nailah was extremely confused now. She watched the spirit called Jaxom argue with Aura. Hmm I wonder if I can sense anything. She tried adn immediately found out that although Jaxom was a spirit she could indeed feel his feelings. Made sense to her. He had said himself that he was a soul.

Bastet dropped down to sit by Eclipse, and ran a paw to scratch under a wing, "Well, we act like siblings sometimes too Clipsy. You know comments about you being a lap dog, getting you drunk, and the like." She smiled playfully, "But then we also gang up on people together as well."

She stopped her momentary argument with Jaxom to look at Nailah. "Well, yes that's right. My real parents did hate me and I am an only child. Kali and Coban, the first owners of the manor...they sort of adopted me and made me a part of the family. They became my parents, everyone there after was like a little brother or sister to me really..."
Jaxom coughed. "Except ya know."
Eclipse pawed at Bastet and leaned into her. "Yeah but we're different."

Nailah nodded. She understood exactly what Aura meant. Family didn't have to be blood, just look at the inhabitants of the manor. Their own little family...well sort of anyway. She yawned adn stretched an dfinally picked up her plate and carreid it to the sink. She looked at them in the room adn said, "Well I have some things to do so I'm goign to go. I will see you all later."

She scratched him harder and with both paws, "Yes we are different, we are more blunt, and annoy others instead of each other. Sounds good to me though."

Nailah shook her head and laughed. "I will come back for the story later." So saying she waved and strolled out of the room. She wandered back into her room adn plopped on her bed. Seh thought about checking on Rasui and the kittens but fell asleep a few moments later.
((stupid SATs...grr. gotta get some sleep.))

Eclipse barked. "Blunt is good."
Aura sighed. "Had to say something? Can't you keep your mouth shut Jaxom? Thats' your problem, don't know when to keep quiet." She sighed again and crossed her arms, and dropped her voice to a whisper as if she didn't want anyone out of the room to hear. "First off his name was Thobias and there was nothing between us. He wanted there to be."
"He was in love with her, still is now."
"Yes. But I told him that there would never be anything between us, because of well, you know, "she held up her wrist, indicating the gold encircling it. "Never changed his feelings for me."Aura sighed. "That's about as juicy as it gets."
"She's leaving out all the attempts to earn her love and that that's the fact that he still comes to the manor. Not a very good story teller is she? And why are you whispering? Don't want him to pop up unexpectedly?"

Bastet's ears perked up, "Oh, Clipsy dear, Aura wont talk about it, what did Tobias do to try to win her love." She decided to go to her faithful informant instead of trying to get it from a ghost and immortal fighting like children.

"Didn't deter than boy though. Boy how many times was your window broken? Six? Seven?" Eclipse fluffed his wings and looked to Bastet. "Oh it was grand, he would do anything under the sun for her. Her chores, open doors for her, carry things-"
"I never asked him to!"
"Doesn't matter. Anyway, he even visited the family graveyard to ask her 'parents' if he could be with her. Very romantic is you ask me actually."
"This is ridiculous..."
"Since when are you a romantic, Clip?"
