Eclipse cocked his head at the dragon. "It's a shame really. I rather enjoy old traditions and such. Especially those that Aurahkah raised me on. Boy can Egyptians party..." He shook out his fur quickly and jumped from the chair. "Anybody try to do something like that to my wings, I'd have their head...between my teeth that is." He walked from the kitchen, calling over his shoulder to the two still there. "You won't be seeing me tonight, but I'll be seeing you. I'm sure you get my meaning."
((Right...I need to study for at least an hour for this stupid test, I'm out. Night.))

"Some old ones told me that one of the traditions involved removing an eye for divine purposes. And that was the first of three other rituals. I think were better off without it." He shut one of his eyes, just imagining it was giving him shivers. "And I'll be on full alert all week."
Vik gave a little laugh. "Say Munalisk, does it say anything in your oath about respecting your Master."
"Since when have I called you Master. That would be lowering my rank. And I'm not sure if it mentions anything about that. What? Am I disrespecting you Vik?"
"Not really. But you annoy me."
"I can't help it. Annoying people is my way of showing them I care."
Vik gave him a small smile and flicked him between the eyes.

Saradin's silhouete traversed the manor, himself mostly obscured in the shadows. But aimless wandering only accomplished so much, and he eventually wound up in the kitchen. In a lost moment of pondering he began cooking based on a memory he had. Cheecake was being made from scratch and in an hour it was done. But afterwards, he was still lost and seemingly stuck in a loop, another cheesecake was already under construction.

Bastet stretched and yawned a little too far, falling ungracefully off the bed. As she jolted awake, she got up and finding her cat absent again, decided to look for him. She made herself presentable and left her room to wander to Nailah's room since that was the last place she had seen him. Crouched in front of Nailah's door she called softly, "Kepi? Keeeepiiii!"

Nailah sat up in her bed. The goofy happy vibes were racing through her mind. Saradin was cooking! And she had the feeling it was cheesecake. She jumped out of bed and raced over to her door. Flinging it open she stopped suddenly as she found Bastet kneeling outside. "Um hi Bastet. Is there something I can help you with?" she asked her brow raising.

Bastet stood straight up and put one hand behind her head scratching her ear, as she tried to look as inconspicuous as possible. "Uh, hey Nailah. I have not seen you in a while. See, Kepi went into your room a little while ago, and I was wondering why. I was trying to get him without disturbing you. Heh, by the way how are you?"

Nailah nodded still a little sleepy. "Uh, wait a minute. My room? Why would he be in my room...he is your cat." Nailah thought for a moment. A warm body had been suspicously missing from her bed now for a few weeks. Something was not quite right here. "Well come on in and see if you can find him..." She moved out of the doorway to allow Bastet to pass.

She smiled, "Alright, I hope he is being good..." She walked in and looked around a moment, not ever having seen Nailah's room before. Nodding approvingly at the magic books stacked around, she looked under the bed and under various other furniture, not finding him in any of the places she would have hidden. "He hid himself well, or he snuck out and ran away..."

Nailah thought about where Rasui generally hid. She checked behind the massive stack of books in her favorite corner but there was no sign of either cat. Watching Bastet, she suddenly had an idea. She walked over to her closet, which was extremely hard to see as it was the same shade as the walls, adn opened the door. Gasping she said, "Um Bastet, you may want to come see this..." Nailah stepped slowly aside so Bastet could see what had her so worked up.

She raised an eyebrow at what Nailah said and walked over to the closet. As she looked inside she saw a bunch of fluff balls huddled around Rasui. With a squeal of delight she knelt down. "Kitties!!" Bastet looked around the closet some more, "Ok, but where is Kepi?"
Kepi chose that moment to run up with a piece of fish in his mouth. He squeezed passed the girls, slightly annoyed, and gave the food to Rasui, nuzzling her.

Inside the kitchen Saradin was almost to the point of setting up an asembly line, churning out dishes one after another. But for now, only the second cheesecake came out of the oven and followed the first into the refridgerator. At the same time, he sat staring down at the ingrediants that remained, enough for another, and thought for a second before searching for a couple more things to add in.

Lady Nailah Nailah echoed Bastet's squeal of delight and reached down to check out the fuzzy balls snuggled up next to her sweet cat. She couldn't believe that there were kittens. In her closet. She had no idea how she had missed the whole blessed event but there was nothing to do now. Rasui took the fish gratefully. She was so tired but she returned the nuzzle and then began to lick one of the mulitcolored balls of fluff. She looked up and blinked at her mistress. There was another one with her, one she recognized as Kepi's mistress. She watched them to see what they would do.

Lady Bastet Bastet counted, "There looks like five fluff balls in all. Their eyes are not even open yet." She watched as they snuggled to their mother and crawled all over each other to nurse. Reaching out she scratched kepi and Rasui on theirs heads, "Good job guys." Kepi leaned into her hand and then sat defensively in front of his mate and kittens. "Quit being macho Kepi, you know you can trust us." She picked up a completely gray kitten and hugged it before replacing it by its mother. The little calico cat moved closer to her mother as she was cleaned. A little white one stumbled and fell at his father's feet, bumping into him and made a soft mewing noise.

Lady Aurahkah Eclipse came bounding into the kitchen, heading straight for Saradin where he rubbed his head against the man's knee, not really caring whether he got attention or not but rather that he was noticed and that the confirmation of cheese cake was made. "Someone's making cheese cake."Aura strolled into the kitchen shortly after the winged wolf and leaned against a random counter. "And I'm sure someone won't let someone else have any if he keeps pestering.

SeveredWind From out of his seeming mental slump, Saradin sprung to attention he was struck by blue fur. "Eclipse, good day. Yes, I made cheesecake. There are a couple in the fridge, one just went in and the other is probably only partly cooled, but it should still be ready to eat." Of course, he couldn't leave it at that and pat Eclipse's head, scratching his ears a bit before returning to his obsession. "How could I keep it from any of you Aurahkah? Judging by the reviews, that would be inhumane."
