Aura only raised an eyebrow and let out a short laugh. "Confuses you? How do you think the rest of us feel when she makes an apperance around here?" Taking a long drink from her glass then setting it back down again she leaned bakc in her chair. "I know how that feels...my actual mother never felt like she was my mother at all."

Aura drained all emotion from her face and stared at Phea. "I'm a vampire now too..." She paused for a rather dramatic effect then broke out into a smile and finished off her wine. "No, just kidding." She then paused for thought, a lot had happened since Phea had left, especially to the Egyptian. "Well...," Where to start...ah, "my eyes change color from a simple change in lighting, and I've had my mind torn apart and put back together a few times. Other than any of that I don't know what you could be picking up on." She preferred not to tell the whole lured into shadow battle story.

Aura just shrugged at the story statement. "Never said I was keeping a secret from you. Feel free to prod my mind or even read my journal in the library. They know the stories far better than my voice does." Aura then began counting on her fingers for a moment. "Let's see, dopplegangers of myself, Vincent, and Saradin, my father, my dreams. Quite a party really."She chuckled. "As Eclipse would say, you only ruffled my feathers Phea."

Aura smiled. "I don't have to listen to myself, I have you all to listen to. Not to mention Coban and the other spirits as well. I think I'm the sane-est that I've ever been in quite some time." She stared at her empty wine glass for a moment.

"As long as you all and Eclipse are around, I always will." She stood from the table and dropped her glass in the sink. "By the way Phea, you'll have to fill me in on the whole 'hell coming forward thing' later. Right now I have to attend to some hostess like business." She gave Phea a nod and disappeared from the kitchen and from Phea's sight.

((eh, I have to go anyway, I have to wake up extra early. Night.))

"Ow!" Lini immedietly pulled his arm back. "I want the bullet out, not an artery!"
Sharu laid down the surgeun's knife and pulled out a daggar. "Stop squirming! The lord refused to send a medic so I'm all you've got right now...brother."
They were both in a dimly lit cave on the shadow plane.(Do they have lights? I'm not really familiar with it) Around them were bottles of coloured liquids in strangely shaped bottles. A few of the liquids were bubbling and one was even moving around in it's bottle, banging against the glass as if it wanted to escape.
Lini mumbled something under his breath and held out his arm again. He shut his eyes and prepared for the agonizing pain.
Lini carefully stabbed the blade of the knife carefully into the recently created incision, ignoring Lini's silent curses. With one swift motion, he pried the bullet out of his arm. He then took a long q-tip and dipped it in the living fluid. He aplied some of it inside the wound and sealed up the top with a bit of dark aura.
Lini rubbed the invisable wound. "Your a terrible healer."
"It's not like your the ideal patient either. And don't you have a job to do? You won't have to worry about that wound anymore when our Lord gets impatient."
"I don't care. He can't travel here. And I'll need some rest."
He laid down on a cot in the corner. After a sip from a flask on the table next to it, he was sleeping deep enough to ignore the stinging of the living fluid in his arm as it ate away at infected muscles.

Eclipse was stalking the halls, literally. Crouched low to the ground, practically scooting along on his stomach with his wings tightly held against his back, his tail motionless and his ears back. Prey, where was it now? Anyone would do, well anyone he wouldn't crush when jumped upon. Despite his actions to not be seen he wasn't trying to not be heard. He softly was reciting, in perfect ancient Egyptian, the words to the song Aurahkah often sang. It sounded rather spooky in the way he was doing it and he chalked that up to mean more fun. Catching a scent he stalked his way to the kitchen where he slipped in and under the table by the small unsuspecting boy that was there.
