i'm glad i don't have coursework to do anymore, it seems to stress a lot of Gaians out sweatdrop
though i enjoyed my time at school and i miss learning things confused

Mm, me too. I miss school, but I don't miss the incessant "Do this do that" when it had nothing to do with what I was going to be... admittedly in high school it was different, since a lot of that was just to make us "well rounded individuals" and it was fairly easy...
I'm personally planning on homeschooling my kids so they learn in a manner best suited to their personality.

Homeschooling seems to be a great idea if you can cope with it well, there's a homeschoolers guild here too 3nodding
one of my friends teaches her boy at home, i have great admiration for anyone who's willing to do it 3nodding

one of my friends teaches her boy at home, i have great admiration for anyone who's willing to do it 3nodding I just adore the idea of being able to tailor the education style to my kid.

Hm... *debates* See, I'm at a dilemma. I like the information provided, since it's given in a very scientific manner, but with Gaia being a PG-13 site, I'm not certain it'd be wise to link to it, especially since the HHG does -not- promote the use of illegal drugs of any sort, including herbal ones.

Just thought I'd post a quick note and let you all know that I'm still alive smile
My job is going well. I really miss having time to "hang out" on Gaia, but after 8 hours a day of staring at a computer screen, sometimes the last thing I want to do is stare at a different one.
Another quick note about anyone who might be curious...I posted my profile at adoption.com, but haven't heard anything from my daughter. I'm hoping that means that she's happy and well adjusted!!
*Edit* -- Yesterday when I posted this, I went to adoption.com and she had added her listing just the day before!! I talked to her on the phone this morning. I think she's more curious about who I am, and where she comes from than looking for a relationship. That's ok with me. I just know that I'm happy that she seems happy!!

*bursts into tears from stress* crying
I have to find the monies to pay for part of a hotel room and at least two tickets to Tampa probably three in two weeks and my bills are piling up and the stupid phone company called me yesterday and demanded money and then the doctors need money and I have to find enough to get everyone to the con like I've been promising and I haven't seen my little brother online in more than a month and I miss him so much it hurts, and I can't seem to find anything that I need to find. crying crying crying
