Still on edge, shaon stayed in front of Sydney. "Sorry we are ill-met, but i don't really trust daedra. and if you do serve, i apologize. but i know better than to take chances." she lowered her daggers a bit, though they were still at the ready. he eyes flickered to Leo. "And i trust you...." she lowwered them a bit more, but still stood as protection for her weakened brother. "So Kroangar...welcome..."

Sydney reached forward and lowered Shaon's daggers the rest of they way. "I'm fine..." He said with a smile, "I sense no meaning to harm within Kroangar." He paused for a moment and his expression suddenly became a more worried, stern one. "I must tell you all of my dreams..." So Sydney told his bretheren what he had dreamt of, and if anyone else was to have these dreams, let it be known. "This could be a tactic to turn us against one another, don't give in, right?"

Shaon listened, looking roubled. she didn;t like the idea of being the one to kill his parents, even if it was only a dream. she nodded once. "I've heard of people's dreams being tainted with outside forces, but to try and turn us against each other with our dreams? that's foolish. dreams are dreams. they don't define reality on any planes of this world."

Xivi looked from Sydney to Shaon, "I have heared my elders talking about being able to alter someone's dreams, but only if they are already mentally weak. I am not implying anything, but you could have been worn out by having similar dreams that left you stressful or mentally exausted. Have you had dreams like this one before?" Kroangar looked troubled for his new brother.

"I hate illusion magic" Leo said under his breath, examining Sydney's state.

Sydney was sitting on the bed, head in hands, looking at the floor. "I used to have them all the time when a prank Athramir and I staged one day went badly wrong..." Sydney voice broke mid-sentence, but he held back the tears. He hadn't cryed since the time of the story he was about to tell, and he wasn't going to cry again. "Athramir's father was a real practical joker, always playing around. It was all in fun obviously, and Athramir and I decided that we'd get him back for once. So we went to the local illusionist and asked him how we'd be able to trick him into believing anything we wanted to. We spent a long time learning the spell and as we were only young, it took both of us together to cast the spell, meaning we'd have half control each." Sydney looked to the ceiling, the memory still haunted him. "So one day we managed to climb on top of Athramir's house and waited for his father to get home from work. He was late home that night and I was just about to go home, I was afraid of the dark as a child, and I didn't want to walk home at night. I went to leave and Athramir's father came into view, so the prank was still on. I wanted to go home, but Athramir insisted we do this tonight. Athramir's father wasn't the most healthy of people, a bit over-weight. So we cast the spell and he suddenly believed all we wanted him to. We made him believe a bucket of water was dropped on his head and he started running around in circles. We thought it was very funny." Sydney then looked to the group, to tell the final stages of his story. "That's when I heard the screech of a cliff racer, not too far away. My thoughts were suddenly shrouded in thoughts of being killed by a giant cliff racer... That's when my own thoughts interfered with the spell. I don't know what he saw with a combination of Athramir's thoughts, which had changed to having an argument with a guar about which grass tasted better, and my thoughts of being eaten alive. Then, his father grasped his chest where his heart was and dropped to the ground, dead. He'd had a heart attack... We ran inside to Athramir's mother and we helped drag him inside and call the town's healer to see if he could do anything, but he couldn't. Athramir's father had died because of MY stupid thoughts..." Sydney then pulled himself together, bringing himself to the main reason of telling his story. "After that, I had the same dream except it was Athramir under the cloak killing my parents as revenge for taking away his father..."

Shaon set her hands on Sydney's soulders. "Well that b*****d Athramir is as dead as nails and I'm sure Sithis is making him regret every be-damned thing he ever did. I'm sorry to hear that it happened to you, my dear brother." but she didn't voice her next opinion. Why would sydney have a dream of her doing it? she had no reason to get back at him?
Even if she wasnt; a frivilous believer in dreams, it made her spine tingle as she thought of causing any of her brothers distress, even if it was a dream. but...what if she was a danger to him like athramir had been? Myabe sydney's dreams were foreshadowing. what if she ended up being what athramir was? she stiffled in a breath, and tried to keep her composure. she kept it well, but inside she was trembling.

Leo noticed that Shaon seemed uneasy. "Don't second guess anything." he said rather authoritatively. "This must be the work of a few very powerful Morag Tong Illusionists and Mystics. Killing them is not a high priority yet. If we do, the Morag Tong will know what we're up to. As we get closer to Morrowind the dreams will probably get more powerful. We'll have to sleep in shifts to ensure our own safety and the sanity of the group. If only we had a spy..." Leo's words trailed off in thought.

Kroangar tried to comfort Shaon, but to a Daedra such emotions were new and confusing for him, but he still attepted to comfort his sister. As he heard Leo's thought about a spy he remembered something. Leo thought Kroangar was from the Morag Tong, and Daedra worship was much more popular in Morrowind. He could probably fit right in easily and his magic could actually do more good then harm if he acted as a spy! He used to be the leader of a scouting group in Oblivion, so how different could this be?
"So how would going in as a spy work out?" Xivi asked politely.

Sydney looked up at his bretheren. He saw how lucky he was to have them there to help, he knew it. He was lost without them.

Shaon's body became composed, but her mind was still o needles and pins, despite Leo's words. "Well, you weren;t the one killing his parents, now where you?" she asked him quietly, surpised at how calm and even her voice was. "But i agree with your idea my dear brother. dreams can lead way to belief. it's best if one od=f us stays up and guards the other. And i believe Kroangar has a point. If he is on our side, he's invaluable to us."

"All we would really need from a spy would be to scout ahead, infiltrate the Morag Tong as a member or trusted go-between and find out through whatever methods necessary why the Morag Tong are attacking us, and how exactly they are doing it. With that information, we could take them down fairly easily. The big question is... if the mystics can mess with our dreams, can they see into our souls? Can they know what we're thinking?" Leo asked, scaring himself as he spoke.

Shaon, already panicked, had her mind in hysterics. See into souls? well wasn't that just fine!? she could hardly keep herself from shaking. She idly thought that she should keep her body from going into shock and sat down on the bed, thinking. she clenched and unclenched her fists, trying to think of a possible way through....

Kroangar sat by Shaon and tried to think of something to calm her down. He knew different magical spells, but nothing he knew could see into souls. Maybe that would cheer her up.
"I know how to trap souls, steal souls, or even use souls to create different things, but I dont know how to see into one without ripping it out first." Kroangar smiled awkwardly, "So if the Morag Tong wanted to look into your soul, they would have to take it first. Then it wouldn't really matter anymore because you would be dead." Kroangar looked at Shaon with a fleeting hope he helped. He shrugged and got the look of 'Im not helping am I?' before looking away.
