Louisa snorted slightly, "That was predictably bad, what have you done with De'ath?" She asked him simply, well aware that he had failed to recognise her.

"You know De'ath? Well his friend is my friend, let me buy you a drink. I happen to know they serve a very fine wine here."
Garr hadn't even recognised her voice outside of the echoing helmet... and any minute now something was going to hit him....

And something was certainly thrown at him.
the solid mass of Louisa's helmet was soon on the way to his skull.

Garr snatched the helmet out of the air.
"What's a pretty girl like you doing with such an ugly helmet... it looks kinda familiar. You're a female Judge? I know a female Judge and she's..... crap."
The penny dropped.

Cephas made his way to the bar. There was bound to be something he could do for a few gold pieces here. Looking around, he saw the annoying pirate he traveled with, but not the judge. He walked up the bartender. "Excuse me, is there anything in this town that I can do for some gold?" he asked. He noticed that Garr was talking to a woman and almost got bashed by a helmit. He almost immediately recognized it. "So, that's what she looks like without that cumbersome armor." he said to himself.

The mog's head popped out of the bag on Garr's back peering over his shoulder and eyeing the Judge "Oh it's just you." he said his hat was off and his missing Pom was for the first time clearly visible.

Louisa gave Garland a look, "Rest assured, once we leave this place I shall be dressing as a Judge once more." A beer sat on the table before her, half drunken.

Garr looked at the moogle's absence of pom-pom, shrugged and looked back at Lou.
"Yeah, without it you're about as intimidating as a small bunny."

((In the online comic I'm reading the character with the highest kill rate is a small bunny with a switchblade and a glock who has a deep grudge against father christmas and tries to kill him every christmas. and everybody fears him. and let's not forget monty python's quest for the holy grail.))
"Okay... now you're a bit more intimidating. Well you know there are some vicious bunnies out there..... Did you find anything out about espers?"
Garr was trying to change the subject.

((ooc: Most certainly not forgetting the Python's!))
Louisa lowered her gaze at last to take a swig from her beer. "There is one in the Henne mines, but that is some days travel from here."

"From what I've gathered, that's the closest one to here. But if we're going into the mines, we need proper equipment. Last I checked, our rations are low. Not nearly enough for us to reach the mines. So unless one of you have already bought some here, then we won't make it there and back, at least not alive." Cephas said, not moving from his spot.

"Supplies are no problem, I'll give up my share of food for everyone else and eat you when I get peckish."
Garr also remained where he was, not even looking at Cephas as he addressed him.
"I talked to a couple of people, but they could only tell me about the Tonberry I've already defeated."
Garr sighed, placing the helmet he still held down on the table.

And Louisa was quick to claim it back from it's perch.
"We do need to restock on healing items, especially since certain parties - " Somehow it was very clear she meant Garr. "Seem to have lost our healer."

"We have a healer?"
This seemed like it was news to Garr.
"We don't need a healer anyway, just wrap up in some bandages and get some sleep and you'll be fine."
