Sakura looked at her blankly. "You really think they've done so much? Really?" A small frown creased into her features. "Think again, Yumi-neechan. Think again." She turned to face Itachi, mumbling, "Can we go before I'm forced to explain?"

"YOU THINK AGAIN! REMEMBER! IT WAS ALL TO PROTECT YOU! YOU! OUR PARENTS DIDN'T WANT US TO EXIST TO YOU! THEY HID HIKARU FOR YOU AND THIS IS ALL YOU CAN DO! AFTER EVERYTHING! EVERY LITTLE THING! YOU KNOW NOTHING! NOTHING! After everything..." Her voice broke down the middle and she fell to her knees, sobbing weakly.
Hikaru kneeled down besides his twin and wrapped his arms around her in a comforting hug. "Sakura-san...If you feel this is the best choice...Then go. I won't stop you. I'll make sure Yumi stays away from you. Sakura...We did our best. We really did. But we failed...didn't we?"

Sakura sighed. "Well if they really wanted to protect me they wouldn't have always left me behind." She turned to face the man holding her sister. "Maybe I'm the one who's failed again...Just make sure Yumi-neechan is alright. Promise?" She smiled at him softly. It would hurt Yumi, she knew that...but it would hurt her more to leave.

A sob tore through Yumi as her brother did his best to soothe her. "It'll be okay..." Hikaru said, even though everyone around them knew it was a lie.
Guilt overcame Itachi. Gently, he rested a hand on her shoulder. "You should go home. Forget about us. You'll be happier there. Don't forget the people you love. Don't hurt them. Don't be a duplicate of me." Saying those words made him want to scream. Instead, he kept his calm and let go of the girl's shoulder. No close attachments. No romantic feelings. None of that. No lust. No passion. No desire. Even if it killed him on the inside, at least she would be safe. Oh, how painful it is for just one person - how had he grown to know her this much?
Was it even possible? Was he just making it all up to keep himself from losing control like that one terrible night when he had killed them all?

Sakura looked at her sister, frowning. "I can't." She wanted to go tell her sister this was only a cruel joke and she didn't mean it, but she couldn't. A part of her was screaming no so loud she thought her ears would really bleed. "If I do, I know you won't come find me and I know that it'll only tear me up inside."
Her green eyes stayed glued on Yumi as she tried to look away from the painful site. "Please, don't make me go back." She whispered quietly, forcing her lids down.

"I'm sorry..." he said softly, knowing now that it was all his fault. If he had but let her alone. Such a simple task, and he had messed it all up by being a fool, by creating a close attachment to her.
Hikaru looked back at his younger sister. "We're off! Good luck, Sakura-chan." Slowly, he left his sister and walked over to her. Reluctantly, he put his arms around her, hugging her weakly. "Good luck...and good-bye."

Sakura blank a few times in shock or confusion, but quickly hugged him back with a soft smile. "Good bye, Hikaru-niisan." She whispered, feeling a bit awkward when she called him that, but pretended not to care. Her hold loosened and she let him go, smiling brightly.

Cari shifted restlessly from one foot to another. Finally she took a deep breathe,
"Sakura-chan I dont mean to pressure you ar anything but if you really want to go we should leave before someone finds out that Itachi-san and Deidara-san are here and spill the beans to the whole village." Cari looked down as she felt bad for breaking up the intimate family moment but truly they needed to go.
They had wasted enough time arguing and looking around and anyone could spot them and tell the hokage. If that happened then they were screwed.
