Link was unable to catch up with his apprentice. "Where could he have gone?" He said after landing on a top of a hover truck that was heading towards the Senate Building. Even from here, the old Jedi master knew things will get worst. However, he had to take his friend back and stop him from doing something rash and stupid. Ever since he had his arm cut off, Link knew Kyle was a changed man. And though he may still practices the way of the Jedi, deep within him, Link can feel Kyle's anger and rage boiling. The old man probably guessed his apprentice knew it as well and was fighting it off as best as he could. After resting on the hover truck, he continued forth, looking for his friend. He jumped from car top to car top, continuing his pursuit after the enrage Jedi master.

Dalaan entered into the atmosphere of Coruscant. Whilst she was landing her ship, she was fighting off her memories. Her personal demons would have to wait, she had to deal with the jedi. She picked up her com link and swallowed the lump that had somehow lodged itself in her throat.

"Drake, Nick, are you reading, where abouts are your co-ordinates? I can sense you, but not your exact whereabouts."

Drake stood by as he watched Empress Constance attack the bodyguard. There wasn't much he could do to stop her fit of rage. He heard Dalaan's message in his head and talked back to her through the force. Well I'm at the Senate Building watching Empress Constance unleash her rage on the now deceased Chancellor and his bodyguards. I don't think Nick's gotten to Coruscant yet. Christian told me that there are no jedi at the temple and that they've hidden the archives. Drake stands there as he continues watching Empress Constance but still listens to Dalaan.

She sensed his response and answered likewise as she walked through the streets. She lost Si'Ti, her anger is understandable, though misdirected. She was dissapointed, for all she understood, an opportunity to get the Chancellor on side was wasted. I'll meet you there. Try to help the Empress, I've made a treaty with Mestre Animus, I don't think he'd be pleased if his Empress fell apart. She shook her head, the situation was rapidly falling apart. She looked around at the faces of those she passed. Worry was a common expression and people hurried about their business. They knew that the Republic would go down with the Jedi. They that lived on the planet would also face the same fate as the Republic would. They didn't need another war.

I don't think she needs my help attacking these two bodyguards but If I can I'll try to keep her from killing them. Drake grabbed the large hilt of his heavybladed sword just in case he would have to draw his sword to keep the Empress from killing these two helpless souls. Nevertheless he stayed at a good position to watch and wouldn't interfere if he had to.

I'm on my way to the Jedi Temple, i'll see you there. She knew that Drake would have the situation under control, there was no point both of them standing around witnessing the Ordinis' grief. Besides, she was struggling with her own. The planet of Coruscant was a painful place for her to be, the face of Selkan huanted the streets, memories of the birth of their love and then their children filled her mind. She held her mask on her face and kept her walk steady. She felt like running, running from the pain and the memories. The world of should-have-been flooding into her. They should've celebrated Selkan's birthday today. They should've had their own home and business running. Dalaan should've been the mother that she hadn't been since the death of Selkan. She neared the Jedi Temple, her mind growing greater in turmoil. Her eyes focused on the Jedi temple, a focal point to let out her misery. An outlet for the pain she had saved up.

Christian heard the meassage from Archduke Zith and kept communications up with her. "Archduke Zith there is a problem. It seems the jedi have left the temple and they have taken the archives with them. There are a few jedi left fighting but I think there are more powerful jedi here that's leading these lower ranked jedi."

[I shall take up the role of Nick for now]

The Archduke looked down at the puny world. He had memories of his past life flood him once he saw the lights illuminating in his ship. He heard the reports from the group already below, but he didn't care. Sean was down there, and it was finally time for him, the true Skywalker to take down the last Kenobi.

Swiftly, he took a fighter and maneuvered it so that he would reached the planet's surface quickly. Oh how he waited for this. Finally the Jedi temple could be tore down for good with the important Jedis within it. "Archduke Zith, I am going to follow your lead. Be there momentarily." He said through his comm.

Constance knew that her deeps were done here. She turned and faced Drake as she headed away from the hall going back to the Chancellors office. She put her saber back in its shaft up her sleeve. She then turned over to Drake and her eyes were a silverish mercury color.

"Get out of here Drake, you don't have much time before the senate is destroyed." She said as she grabbed her cloak and placed it back over her shoulders. She then turned from him and walked over to the turbolift and headed down to the entrance. She gathered her two Guards and headed back to the dropship."Get ready to fire! I want the senate destroyed. And meet me at the Jedi temple." She ended the comm and the dropship lifted from the docking pad and headed over to the Jedi temple.

The SPD was above the Senate building and started to warm up the main battery guns. The guns took aim at the building.

Kyle stopped at his tracks. He looked over head when he saw a familiar star fighter come from space. "Nick?" He asked himself as he looked back towards the direction in which the fighter was headed for. He shook his head. He knew the Jedi Temple would not fall under the protection of both Sarah and Sean. All those Masters won't give up their home lightly. No, Kyle had to do something else. He had to save his father from death.

Unfortunately, jumping from hover car to hover car was no way easy, even for him now. He had to slow down for a while so that he would be able to have energy just in case he needed to fight. Just then, looking up at the sky again, another familiar presence came to him. "Animus..." he said. At that very moment, Kyle grasped his chest as if something terrible happened to someone close to him. It took him a brief moment to figure out where it came from. Tears flowed down from his eyes as he saw the Senate building. His father was dead; he couldn't save him.

Still, the Jedi Master enhanced his speed, this time, wanting to save his father's body and give him a proper burial. At least that much he could give him.

The old man finally thought he had caught up with his apprentice, seeing him only three cars ahead. Link was out of breath. He wasn't as limber as he used to be, and jumping from flying car to flying car was no easy feat. Yet, as he was about to call out for his friend to wait, Kyle had immediately rushed off once again. "Seriously?" Link asked himself, taking another moment to breathe so that he could run again. However, he turned his head towards the direction of the Jedi Temple and felt a great disturbance. Then he saw a drop ship come near the roof of the temple. Things were not looking good at all, and worst, Link and Kyle were exactly in the middle. "Good God..." he said softly rushing off to calm down his student.

Drake looked down at the two dead bodies of the Chancellor and his bodyguard as Empress Constance left through the turbolift. The bodyguard wasn't his concern but his at least wanted the Chancellor to have a proper burial. He didn't know much about Kyle but from what he heard from Dalaan he figured it was something he'd want to do. He grabbed the Chancellor's body and put in on his shoulder then drew his heavybladed sword.

Drake looked up at the SPD looming over the senate building and figured he didn't have enough time to take the stairs. He sent a powerful force slash through the window and hopped out. He sild down the senate building then stuck his sword into the edge stopping him. "Christian I know that's your soldiers I sense. Where are you?"

A crusier speeded to the senate building and stopped near Drake. Drake jumped on it and it speeded out of the blast radius of the about to be destroyed Senate Building. He looked down through the front window of the crusier and saw Christian. "What took you so long." Christian smirked. "Well the pipeline was hard to get through and we needed to get back to our hidden ship. But we're here now so don't worry about it." Drake stood at a good distance away from the building and waited to see the explosion before he headed to the Jedi Temple.

As Drake left the building the SPD fired down upon the senate building. The violet bolts of battery fire reigned down on the duricrete building causing several small explosions at first. With in moments the large senate building exploded from the heavy battery fire.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO," Kyle screamed in pain as he saw the Senate Building blown to pieces. He was so close to rescuing his father's body, three blocks away; however, the Ordinis didn't dare wait for him. No, they went ahead and destroyed the very symbol of this galaxy's Republic. There will be war now, endless, chaotic war. Once the allied planets hear of this, each and every one of them will go up in arms. They will fight for their freedom, they will fight off the invaders whom they mistakenly took for friends.

"Father!" The Jedi master called out in the open. Of course by then, he was on the street after the car he had been on was pushed back by the shock wave the explosion created. Perhaps countless of lives were killed and or injured, but that didn't matter, not to Kyle at the moment. He wanted blood.

Link could not believe his eyes. Not in a moment he saw the Senate Building, did it then go up in flames. What's worst was how he immediately felt his apprentice's pain; even from far away. "Kyle!" He shouted, coming down from a rooftop that was nearby. "Kyle, get a hold of yourself, the Jedi Temple is being invaded!" He said trying to get to him, although, Kyle continued to stare off into the direction in where the Senate Building once stood.
