Well Gernou wasn't going to just sit in the room, the Hell with that! He inspected the room carefully and considered smashing the window and making a break for freedom but damnit he needed the tessen back. Naturally, his door would be guarded but perhaps an escorted toilet break? Yes, that might work nicely, with his incredible speed he could easily ditch the guards in the corridor and then he could find that stupid shogun. "THIS IS INHUMAN!" he roared at the door. "I NEED TO PEE AND I'M NOT DOING IT ON THE FLOOR!" 'They'd better let me out,' he thought with annoyance, 'otherwise I'll have to try and smash the window and somehow make my way into that guy's room from there.'

Kouji let Yui walk on, sighing when she lost her balance after a mere three steps. He doubted her polite excuse for not wanting his help, Kouji had never met anyone so selfless before. 'Maybe she still doesn't trust me,' he thought, 'which is understandable given that I'm a bandit.'
The bandit quickened his pace. "Okay let me help you stand at least," he said, gripping her arm gently. "And don't worry about me getting wet given that it's my fault you're soaked." He grimaced. "Yes Kouji, keep reminding her you did it," he scolded himself sarcastically. "Besides, I'm a bandit, I've been through a lot worse than this, trust me." He grinned.

Two average guards, not too bright, but decent fellows, all things considered, stood precariously outside the room designated for the bandit. Niether of them really wanted watch duty, but they were loyal and did what they were told. However...when the ruckus began from inside the room, relating to a neccessary function of the body...the glanced back and forth between themselves. They had been ordered that the only person or people to enter or exit the room, were to be Nakago or Tomo...and if the bandit made trouble, they were to be roused. They finally broke down, between protests inside the room and discussed it.
"Look...I know he is not supposed to come out...but if all he wants is to go to the bathroom and that will shut him up, I would rather do that. "
The one began.
"I know what you mean...that Tomo guy freaks me out...and I would not want to be the one to disturb the Shogun..."
He shuddered and the other continued.
"If we get him to shut up, we can get this taken care of, and get him back where he is supposed to be and no one will be the wiser."
The other Nodded in agreement, while the first leaned near the door.
"Quiet down in there will you? You do not need to make such a ruckus...and believe me...you do not want to wake the Shogun."
He quieted his voice so that hopefully the only person to hear would be the person in the room that they were guarding.
"If you shut up, we'll take you out and you can releave yourself...but only if you keep quiet!"
He then crakced the door open a little bit to see if he had garnered any response.

Tamahome grimaced ever so slightly as he gazed towards the bandit and his knife, it wasn't that it had never happened before...it was simply that it had happened too many times and he was growing horribly weary of the same old trick, it might explain why he hadn't actually gotten onto his knees to help.
Even so, he calmly folded his arms across his chest and raised a brow as each of the thieves began to close in on him. His failure to react or lash out not so much a 'cocky' move but a more calculated decision in an attempt to prepare himself to take them all on at once - what would it be though, a round house kick or a few knocks about the head?
"If you're after money I haven't got any."

Yui's eyes locked onto the bandits' with much startlement on his determined nature to help her get back inside. It was a bit hard to believe for her that Kouji was what he stated to be. Weren't bandits always robbing people?! If he were truly a bandit, wouldn't he had just robbed whatever the farmer had? Unless Kouji was part of a bandit that worked like Robin Hood, the story from America she had read once. "Agrigato for your help and it's alright, i'm not mad or annoyed at all for getting me wet. It's just water and it'll dry besides, you were trying to help." Yui softly replied, slightly blushing at his touch while one of her free hands remained at the tip of her nose to keep herself from going on another sneezing fit. Being the polite person she was, Yui gratefully took his offer and slightly leaned on him for support as the two of them made their way towards the hut. The closer they came towards the hut, it was than Yui noticed daylight approaching. From studying the sky, Dawn couldn't be that far away so she must have slept a good decent few hours before waking up feeling hot.

"Fine I'll be quiet," Genrou grumbled, folding his arms and putting on a scowl though he was grinning inside his head. 'Great, once I'm outside I'll shrug these guys off and make a run for it. The only problem is finding the shogun's room but at least I'll be able to run rings around all these people except that creepy guy with the face paint, what a nutcase!' "But you'd better let me out right this bloody second or I swear there will be a smell!"

Kouji grinned and paused to open the door for Yui. "Won't be long now," he remarked, "I'll have to head in a few hours. Genrou is going to kill me when I find him." He chuckled to himself. 'Oh well, it was worth it,' he thought. "So where do you plan to go?" he queried. "I really hope Genrou's still in Kutou," he thought aloud, "if he's not...well...yeah...I don't know what I'll do."

Nakago "Whatever you think is best" Came the reply as one of the husbands made his way to the door. "We would not want to keep you against your will." The kids were giving groans of dissent at the thought of their "new friend" leaving...but also because they were being ushered off to get to bed. The husband opened the door, not sure what to expect. "So many guests this evening...May I help you?" (O_O There's gonna be a Tasuki spanking?! *nosebleed*)Chichiri pulled out of his musings as the man opened the door. He bowed and introduced himself.
"Please excuse the intrusion sir. My name is Ri Chichiri no da. We're looking for a girl, a foreigner I believe no da. Anou...perhaps a visitor you may have with you this evening na no da."
By the way, she's from another world and might have potent mystical powers no da! A chibi sarcastic part of his brain prattled silently.

If he tries to steal from the Shogun...Looks like it. We are so kinky...XDEpine de Rose Tamahome grimaced ever so slightly as he gazed towards the bandit and his knife, it wasn't that it had never happened before...it was simply that it had happened too many times and he was growing horribly weary of the same old trick, it might explain why he hadn't actually gotten onto his knees to help.

"If you're after money I haven't got any." The "decoy" bandit simply smiled. "That is what they all say to try and get out of giving it to me...and even if it is true...we can take it out of your hide." The defiant stance which gave no sense of fear or yeilding perterbed him though, and it was visible in his words and all over his face. "Fine...You can play that way...and we can play too..." He turned his back to Tamahome right as the rest burst forth and headed straight for him...all of them at once...from as many directions as they could figure out without getting in eachothers ways. Including the one with the knife and his back turned...it was 10-1, and nine out of the ten were rushing him, some with clubs, one or two with knives and the rest muscled arms to back balled fists. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kouji_no_miko "Fine I'll be quiet," Genrou grumbled, folding his arms and putting on a scowl though he was grinning inside his head. "But you'd better let me out right this bloody second or I swear there will be a smell!" The guard opened the door the rest of the way and urged him to come out, and then they led the way, quietly downstairs. There was almost no one about at this hour...and even those who did notice them would probably not be aware that the bandit was not supposed to be out. They led him out and to the side of the inn, conveniently right under the windo to Nakago's room. "Allright...hurry up." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Opaaru (O_O There's gonna be a Tasuki spanking?! *nosebleed*)Chichiri pulled out of his musings as the man opened the door. "Well...as a matter of fact we do have a guest who is not from around here...a young girl..." He backed away from the open door a little letting there be a veiw into the kitchen and dining area where the rest were gathered still engaged in conversation with Miaka. "Mystical Powers...welll...she never said anything about that..." He motioned for them to enter and turned sideways still looking in on the diners. "She said something about getting back home...Tokyo, i think she said..."

Chichiri sweatdropped. Had he actually said the part about mystical powers outloud? Or worse, had he mentally projected it?
"She said something about getting back home...Tokyo, i think she said..."
"Anou, Toh-ki-oh? Never heard of it no da." And that's saying something no da.
He entered the home and instantly spotted the girl they were looking for. It was actually quite simple since she was wearing very odd, very revealing clothes. The monk blinked a couple of times and then gave a friendly wave.
"Hello no da! You must be the girl from another world na no da!" he grinned, "we've been looking for you all day."

'Now's my chance,' Genrou thought once he was outside. He gave the guards a grin and ran for it. The good thing was he was three times faster than anyone, the bad thing was he couldn't leave the area until he got his tessen back and he hadn't a clue where the shogun was. Should he sneak past the windows one by one and have a peak? That seemed like an ideal plan. Once the guards were out of sight he stopped, ducked low and approached the nearest window quietly. Very cautiously he raised his head for a peak, planning to bolt at the first sign of trouble. Of course, should the shogun be upstairs...well it was going to be awkward checking those windows.

"Hello no da! You must be the girl from another world na no da!" he grinned, "we've been looking for you all day." Miaka stared up at the strange-looking man with the squinted eyes and the softly splayed blue bangs, blinking her wide brown eyes again and again. A thought occured to her and she slapped her fist into her open palm. "Oh~~~! Maybe this is like those shows I used to watch as a kid! I've entered a magical land, and you, Mr. Fox-Demon, are going to take me home!" she jumped up, pointing accusingly at him. "Just don't try to fool me with any of your tricks, okay? My uncle owns a shrine so I know all sorts of chants to make you go away, so you'd better behave!"
Miaka giggled, rubbing the back of her head and sticking out her tongue. "...Is what I'd like to say, but somehow I bet that isn't right." She looked up at him, serious once more. "So you've been looking for me? But who are you? You aren't really a Fox-Demon? Things have gotten so weird recently that I think I might be able to believe that."

Chichiri raised an eyebrow and stared at Miaka as if her head had begun sprouting neon-colored antlers. At the mention of being a Fox Demon he winced.
"Iie! I'm not a fox demon no da! Honest!" he raised his hands defensively as if Miaka were about to start chasing him with a pitchfork. "I'm just a wanderer, people call me Chichiri na no da. What's your name priestess?"

This is a little unfair...
Such a thought crept into his mind as he allowed his muscles to tense, his jaw tightening as he quickly assessed the situation. Every and each side of him was being assailed and without so much as a pause he pulled his fists towards him briefly and then promptly spun in a circle, swinging one fist out in a wide arc to at least repel the closest of his assailants.
Nine on one was do-able, that much was for certain but not while he couldn't see them all and following his minature piroet he used what pent up spring he had to flip himself backwards towards one of the walls - if his back was to a wall he could force them to come round!
"To slow!" He chirped merrily, smirking as his heel touched against the wall and he regathered his composure once more, one foot balancing against the wall to prepare him for the spring forward towards them after all, a stomach was particularly difficult to hit.
All the same, he found it somewhat challenging to keep the familiar tingling from his forehead, almost guilty at what lay beneath his fringe.
