Malfrost looked up and gave Ayaka a light smile, "I'm Malfrost Xeon...yes a strange name I know..." He laughed slightly as he gave her a good going over, then the light-bulb went off in his head, "Ah, you're Ayaka Yukihiro right? I recognize you from the class register, I'm a new student in 3-A...it's nice to meet you." He smiled and bowed again.

Ayaka wouldn't lie. It was a weird name, obviously a foreigner. But Ayaka welcomed all students, especially if they were polite to her. Bowing, Ayaka nodded. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Xeon-san." She responded, but chuckled and blushed slightly at Malfrost's recognition of her. "Yes, that's correct! You're a new student to 3-A?" Ayaka gushed, and then took his arm, tugging him along, and motioned to Raine to come along too.
"Well then, I've got to give you a real Mahora welcome! I apologize for not being in class. I've had some...enlightening experiences." Ayaka's voice hesitated. It was difficult not to go and ruin the newfound secret she'd acquired a few days ago. "Oh! I almost forgot. This is my roommate." She stopped abruptly in the busy district, turning to face Raine.

Raine mentally groaned. She was going to make him come along. Great. If she could only give him a proper Mahora welcome away from Raine...She started walking again, this time seeming to follow Ayaka, who knew where she was going. Amazing, she'd been on campus for a year and didn't know where to go for a haircut. She merely glanced at Malfrost with a uninterested look on her face before looking forward again. "Raine." She said quietly, her ears staying down on her head. Sure they were hidden from mundanes by magic, but she felt weird not having her hat on.

Malfrost blushed at the contact between him and Ayaka, "Don't worry about it, Yukihiro-san, everyone gets busy...as class representative I'm sure your calendar is always booked, if you ever need help with anything though, please let me know." He gave Ayaka a smile as turned to face Raine, "It's nice to meet you as well." He bowed to Raine.

Raine grabbed Ayaka's upper arm rather harshly for a moment as she lowered her voice. "It's bad enough you insist on coming with me, but if you start dragging random people along, I might have to let you know how a real punch to the face feels." She threatened before letting go of her with an annoyed sigh. It was really just a warning. Irritate her, and pay. Or maybe she just wanted an excuse to hit Ayaka. Who was she kidding. She kind of wanted to do that since she first realized they lived together.

Ayaka weaved her way through the district, making her way to the salon. As class rep, it was her duty to ensure that her classmates did get good treatment here at Mahora. "The place I know is right around-" Ayaka raised an arm to point down the street, but was grabbed harshly by Raine.
Frowning at the girl, Ayaka shrugged herself out of Raine's grip. "Random people? Raine-san, this is a classmate! Besides, you need to get out of your shell. What's one person?" Ayaka chuckled. "Besides, you're the one who said I could go and do something else, and you wouldn't mind. I'm just making my way to the salon, with a friend. You just happen to be here." She remarked casually, before walking to a store.
Ayaka pushed the front door open and chatted with the front desk attendant for a moment, leaving Malfrost and Raine to talk amongst themselves.

Raine scoffed. Dammit. Did she seem like she was the least bit interested in her classmates the whole year she's been here? "First excuse I get...I swear." She muttered under her breath as she stuck in her hands in her pants pockets and waited silently, no intention of actually speaking to the boy next to her. Her ears flickered, picking up the sounds of the people around as Raine looked around. She caught glimpse of herself in a mirror, and her hand rubbed over her red tattoo markings again before lowering. There had to be a way to hide those...If I don't control him soon...the markings and ears won't be the only thing to hide.

"So...your name is Raine....you're in class 3-A as well?" Malfrost asked as he figitied around abit...he sensed a very.. unpleasant vibe emitting from her....he didn't enjoy it one bit, 'Please hurry back Ayaka...I don't want to die...'

Raine side-glanced at Malfrost. "Yes." She answered, before falling quiet again. Awkward air. She could tell he didn't want to talk to her. At least, didn't want to remain here while Ayaka was gone. "If you don't want to talk to me, then don't." She said, shutting her eyes as she waited in silence once again. Kestrel growled in her head, as her thoughts grew silent, which made her flinch, which then resulted in his chuckle. Shut up... Kestrel only laughed more at that. If he couldn't cause destruction, he would torment her. Wonderful.

Ayaka returned, with a bright smile on her face, not sensing the unfriendly atmosphere she'd walked into. "You're in luck, Raine-san. They have an opening for you. Usually, they don't accept walk-ins." Ayaka flipped a bit of her hair off her shoulder, looking smug. "But since I'm such a good customer, and my family has supported this establishment for so long, they're willing to make exceptions." She looked to her right, as a stylist was standing by, ready to take Raine's mane of hair on.
'Now you can't say I never did anything for anyone else.' Ayaka thought, and turned her attention to Malfrost. "Meanwhile, Xeon-san and I can go shopping for a bit. Maybe pick you out a new outfit." She glanced at Raine's dark outfit, her lips turning into a small frown of disapproval.

"I mean....if it's alright with you...Yukihiro-san..." Malfrost blushed slightly as he bowed again, "Thank you for keeping me company and it was nice meeting you as well Raine-san." Malfrost gave Raine a smile as he bowed to her as well.

Ayaka spoke to the front desk receptionist again, who looked past Ayaka, at Raine numerous times, and nodded, smiling to Ayaka. It looked as if Ayaka was giving advice to the crew at the salon. Probably about her behavior, and to contact Ayaka if anything went wrong.
Patting Raine's shoulder gingerly, as Ayaka went to leave, she smiled grimly at Raine. "I look forward to seeing you with your new haircut, Raine-san. We'll be back in a while." She nodded a swift goodbye, before turning to Malfrost. "Now then...I've got some errands to run, and maybe you'd be up for a mid-morning snack?" Ayaka offered, smiling politely as she pushed open the door, heading back outside.
"On me, of course. As class rep, it's my duty to make sure you get a very warm welcome." She added cheerfully, fishing around in her purse for something.

Raine frowned. "Yeah, whatever." She said to teh both of them. Just leave. She walked over to the stylist in question as she motioned for Raine to head on over, and Raine proceeded to explain what she wanted done. Luckily it didn't require too much to be done to the top of her head, so her ears would be safe. The stylist nodded and began working, carefully figuring out how she would need to go about cutting Raine's hair.

"Oh no Yukihiro-san, I can pay for myself, don't worry at all about it." Malfrost gave her a meek smile, not wanting to be trouble. "I don't know downtown all too well yet...so I'll follow wherever you decide to go." He latched on to her arm somewhat, hoping that would be alright.

"What kind of class rep would I be if I didn't treat my fellow classmates?" Ayaka responded, taken aback a bit at Malfrost's grip. Wasn't it..usually the other way around?
Anyway, Ayaka guided Malfrost around the district. It was still morning, but it was busy, with messengers on bikes and scooters, whizzing by. It was filled with students out with random errands, old men slowly parading around, vendors lifting up the shutters to start their day. "How long have you been here, Xeon-san? I don't remember you being at Mahora last year." Ayaka asked, stopping for a moment at a small convenience store, stepping inside the small space, picking out some tea bag packages, some sweets. Kaede had said she'd pick up a few things, but Ayaka couldn't live without some of the pricier food items.
