timberwolf12s ::Ginjo:: "blame me all you want just dont let me get shot while your blaming me or you wont get to have your talk with me." "Oh don't worry about that. The only one that gets to shoot you, is me." She gave him a stern look, but there was still a hint of smile underneath it.

timberwolf12s ::Ginjo smirked:: "I knew you cared, still nice to hear you say it." Mira sighed, looking away. She DID care. But he wasn't SUPPOSED to know that. He was such a pain. "Yeah, I care about you like I care about a space cockroach."

As the shuttle entered atmo and Idemakr brougth it under control, Zeny let out a whoop.
"SWEET! Almost there!" He tabbed his comm. "Y'know, Ginjo-kun, might be faster for us dragons to hop out the back now. Harder for ship batteries to hit small, fast-moving targets, and by the time we're big enough to be targets, they'll be shitting themselves." He grinned at the Nova girls and winked at his mate.
"Right, ladies?" Riley gave a long-suffering sigh, but was grinning. Checking over his gear and harness, he looked at Tai.
"Rather be in my Valk, but this should do. Ready, love?"

"Yes sir!!" Hae exclaimed happy to be doing something besides waiting to see what was going to happen next. With a press of a button on her wrist watch a holographic screen appeared in front of her. Muttering to herself she set out on the task of tracking the orbital drone and entering coordinates of their location into its database. "Its set to arrive in twenty four minutes. Is there a way to speed the progression?" Hae answered to Ginjo as she herself tried to find the answer to her questions.

(( soz for zeh delay ))
Nodding to no one in particular, Idemark adjusted some instruments and replotted some of his vectors. Patching through to the dragons' comms, he lit a red light located near the rear of the craft. "You'll have a brief opening to jump ship coming up in 50 seconds. Remember, those big guns aren't built to point down. If it's a threat to you, it's a threat to us." Idemark returned his attention to the ship. With the added air support he could adopt a less risky route to the LZ, probably raising their success chance by a promising 10%. Returning to the matter at hand, he opened the rear exit, thankful the shield systems prevented the sudden pressure change from ruffling too many feathers. "Five seconds." He eyed his instruments closely, waiting for the right moment. Five seconds later, he hit a control and the red light switched green, accompanied by a fairly annoying buzzing noise. Trusting in his companions, he counted to four in his head before closing the hatch and resuming his primary duty of not getting everyone killed.

With an joyful "WOOHOO!" Zeny leapt from the open hatch, entering freefall. As soon as he was clear, he shifted into his full dragon form and began providing "covering fire" for the shuttle - pretty much just unleashing volleys of aetherfire to keep the guns distracted and trying to focus on him. Dragons being much more flexible than shuttles, he managed to dodge or deflect most of the fire now diverted to him.
"I LOVE this job!" Riley sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. The only thing spoiling the annoyed look was the fact that he as grinning and trying not to fall over laughing.

((Would have posted sooner if I'd been aware this was moving, sorry.))
Blaze was right behind her mate, roaring into the wind as she shifted a little further away from the shuttle and started raining fiery hell on the artillery below. Half a second behind her came Shade and Gin, both free falling quite a bit further than their companion.
Shade shifted into her full dragon form and snagged (the now small and scaly) Gin with her tail, flattening her wings to her sides in a power dive. About half-way from their release point, she spun mid-dive and flung Gin at one of the large guns.
The mutt stayed curled up in a little ball and plowed through the large gun and several others, a thin air shield keeping her from the worst of the impact.

Idemark continued doing what he could to keep the ship airborne, weaving in and out of the lines of tracer fire, missiles and the many other weapons currently tasked towards to the destruction of the small craft. Soon after opening the hatch, Ide didn't need any of his instruments to see the concentration of fire begin to thin out. His job getting easier by the minute, Idemark enjoyed watching Shade and the others wreak havoc on the defenses. A chime sounded, reminding Idemark of his next duty. "Ladies and gentlemen this is your pilot speaking. " Ide's voice resumed it's calm, too-suave pilot's attitude as he addressed the remainder of the crew. "I'm pleased to inform you that we are still among the living, and that we are beginning our final descent. I'd like to divert your attention to the senior officer on board in the vain hope he might enlighten us all to what 'step two' in this adventure might be."

::Ginjo:: "When we land pair off into teams of two and go in the direction where the shooting is happening. kill or disarm all enemies. we need one alive preferably the leader. Mira and i will go down the center headed strait in ide your job after we unload is two fold, you are to extract anyone who is wounded and your fire support if we get pinned down. this shuttle does have a lot of fire power and armor so dont be shy."

Merc nodded at Ginjo's orders, turning to give Tai a devilish grin.
"Hear that, love? Looks like we get to brush up on our teamwork, ya?"
Meanwhile, Zeny had managed to tear out one of the cannon barrels and was prancing around like a dog with a giant stick, merrily swinging it around and probably doing as much damage as when he was bombarding the guns emplacements.

Rose rolled her eyes, at the announcement, "What a lucky day im having" She said sarcastically, under her breathe. Doing what she did best shooting at enemy fire that "Happy Pilot" She said louder wasn't happily avoiding as they got closer to the surface, "Just cuz im a women he thinks im incapable of firing a weapon" She said through gritted teeth. Tapping her bluetooth, sarcastically she chimed, "Oh Captain pairs of two? Who am i lucky to have the honor of partnering up with this evening?"
