... HI. I'm Silver. I'm 15, live in the US of A in The Land of Corn and Chicago, and I'm going to be a sophomore in highschool this year. Can't say that I really like school, but eh, I'm coping with the knowledge that it's a necessary evil. I'm pretty much a geek-of-all-trades: I like reading, music, anime, manga, Japan in general, drawing, writing, theatre, the internets ... oh, and I'm sad because I don't have the 7th Harry Potter book. Am plotting to become an author when I "grow up" -- provided, of course, that I somehow manage to work out the obtuse tangles of Random Story Plots floating around in my head.

Btw, not having the final HP book is a legit reason to be sad. If you're a geek for being sad about not having it, I'm equally a geek for going out yesterday morning to Costco to get it on sale (27 bucks, yeah!) and then reading more than half of it in one day, staying up 'til four in the morning to read it because I could not force myself to put it down. And I probably would have finished the whole thing, I had I not gone out with my friends all day and not started reading until after 9 at night. So, there's some real geek for you. And I promised myself I'd try to read it slowly and pace myself because it's the last one... so much for that. *le sigh* It might just be me but I'm finding the book thus far throughly depressing... I can see why JK was crying her eyes out.
