I was reading my Shonen Jump mag at work today (it's the latest issue, came out in February- is it the March issue? Idk...) and in it, it says Kishimoto-sensei's favorite character is Shika.

Hah, that makes sense. I mean with the whole Hidan/Kakuzu arc centering around him and his frequent cameos in the manga, it's no surprise.

I should post some fanart to revive this guild a bit.

The first few are from various Japanese fanart sites (thus, I don't know who they're by), the manga coloring is from NanoCigT off of dA (even though the pic is olddddd), I'm not sure who made the "Deer field" one, and the last two are by Barukurii off of Y!Gallery.

I love the one of him at the beach with his pants down, though it kinda makes him look uke-ish to me. I just love his expression- embarrassingly pissed off. Like, "just come near my shadow you black-mailing rabid female and you'll SO pay in a brilliantly painful way"
