Aa. I was stupid to not pay attention to the fusion stickers and now I'm suffering from it. Just finished getting all the stars for Shiki's week. Moving onto Joshua's. I have all the pigs though from each report I think. There's scattered stars. XD

Okay~! So, I got Stardust Accelerater (Wold champ 2009) for the DS a few days ago. And, surprisingly, I'm a little pleased at what they did, and a little...curious about what they didn't.

The packs go up all the way to Crimson Crisis, and a bit beyond, but they don't touch anything with Raging Battle in it, so no Iron Core decks just yet. However, thanks to the "Duel Terminal" cards, we get access to Worms and X-Saber monsters. And, as usual, you have to duel to open new packs. You're given four to start with, however; Dark Beginning 1 and 2, and Dark Revelation 1 and 2. Personally, I think that's a bit of a mistake on their part, as those packs are known to contain at least a hundred different cards BY THEMSELVES, so pulling anything useful right away won't be happening, unless you're insanely lucky. Especially considering that the real Beginning and Revelation packs give (I wanna say) 15 cards, where as the game only gives you five from any pack.

I can't say anything about 2008, since I've never played it, but 2009 comes with a sort-of RPG mode where you play you own character. I've no idea if it's just an anime plot rip-off, as I've never seen the 5D series at all, but you do meet up with Yusei, blahblahblah whatever. There's also a World Championship (WC for short) mode included. However! You're only given THREE opponents to duel against from the get go. And one of them is Skull Servent...you can just guess at what he's bringing to the party.

Now, onto the unlockibles; They're all tied in with the storymode. Some packs become avalible after certain events take place, some after fighting a number of duels, while others can be unlocked by beating a set of duelists three times each. I forget how to unlock the other WC duelists, though. XD;

Also, there's three types of duels to go through; standard, tag, and Turbo. Yeah...they MAKE you duel on motorcycles. Repeatedly. You don't control the bike during the Turbo duels, but there are sections of the game where you're actually riding the thing.

As for the duels themselves, the bottom screen has become what the top screen was in 2007; the duel field. There's no more split view of the field, where one's diagnol-down and the other's straight down. because of this, we no longer get the quirky little twitches of animation for attack position monsters when we highlight their card; all we ever see of them is their backs...unless they're attacking. Then we get to see them up close, albet static. Did you know Night Wing Sorceress has blue feet? XD The "Epic Entrances" (little animated do-dads of the monsters popping up) are back as well.

Only downside I can find is that it's a little...sluggish at times. Or maybe that's just me playing on an older version of the DS...XD; But yeah...I've had a few plays that got screw over because a "moveclick" was just read as "click" >>;
