Spare me your psycho-babble assumptions.
Well, it's a very logical assumption.

It's just philosophy and politics. We live in an increasingly individualistic society with cleavages and interests being pronounced more now than ever before. With so much focus on the individual, people begin to lose their grasp on the communalism or family unit.
This is especially prevalent in the United States, but it's a trend spreading elsewhere as well. A natural occurance of an industrialized, liberal democracy.
crying I don't like where we're going. I *sniff* want a less individualistic society. ******** oxymoron...
Look, just because you were traumatized by your parents getting emotional when they paired up (one time of which you were the result) is no reason to invent some theory about individualistic societies and try to pass it off as something more than my "psycho babble" which is merely a description of reality.
talk2hand (Hehehe, just kidding. I found your speech truly riveting. Me and my dad were talking about individualistic societies yesterday on the way to work. We were talking about gay marriages though, not the differences between an individualistic society and a communist one.)

I may be a cynic concerning love, but I'm a real hippie when it comes to loving life. Every minute. The pleasure and the pain. It's all we've really got. Just being conscious is euphoric..
Do you believe that life is short? XP
