I'm single. I don't mind THAT much. I'm still very happy hehe.
The reason why I'm happy is because of my friends and the way my life is. I love my parents so much and when I think about people I love, I'm just that happy. biggrin

Eh. Love will find me when it finds me, and I'm fine waiting as long as it takes.

But if it could just hurry just a little bit, that would be great. xD

Right.

You all echo my sentiment. There are many, many things in life to take pleasure in. I may be a cynic concerning love, but I'm a real hippie when it comes to loving life. Every minute. The pleasure and the pain. It's all we've really got. Just being conscious is euphoric.

Plus, if you've got your health, friends, and family - you're set. Sure, it wouldn't hurt having a significant other to spend time with, but it could be much, much worse.

Well having a partner can teach you a lot of things. And sometimes you might do things you've never done before.(Not talking about sex)
And even if something bad comes out of it, it's an experience and you learn from it.

I know I'm not mature enough for a REAL relationship.
So I'm not in a hurry. xp

Deimos
Spare me your psycho-babble assumptions.

Well, it's a very logical assumption.

Deimos
It's just philosophy and politics. We live in an increasingly individualistic society with cleavages and interests being pronounced more now than ever before. With so much focus on the individual, people begin to lose their grasp on the communalism or family unit.

This is especially prevalent in the United States, but it's a trend spreading elsewhere as well. A natural occurance of an industrialized, liberal democracy.

crying I don't like where we're going. I *sniff* want a less individualistic society. ******** oxymoron...

Look, just because you were traumatized by your parents getting emotional when they paired up (one time of which you were the result) is no reason to invent some theory about individualistic societies and try to pass it off as something more than my "psycho babble" which is merely a description of reality. talk2hand

(Hehehe, just kidding. I found your speech truly riveting. Me and my dad were talking about individualistic societies yesterday on the way to work. We were talking about gay marriages though, not the differences between an individualistic society and a communist one.)

Yeah, I do believe life is short. Far too short.

But it's the longest thing happening to you.

I don't think it's short.

HAHAHA!!! XDDDDD

I learned to stop saying that after I read what Maddox had to say about it.

9 Things I Hate About Everyone
When people say "life is short". What the hell??
Life is the longest thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

Maddox is the man. Love him.

And Val, you're very right. I don't wanna go to school eitheeerrrr.... cry
